Nonsense. Jones scores 9 times out of 10 in that same situation. Defense made a great play. McD’s comment that we have to throw it in the endzone should be pointed at Brady, considering we had ZERO receivers in the endzone.

Agreed. I don’t blame Josh at all. 1) We score 90 times out of 100 in that same situation. 2) Defense made an incredible play.

I’m worried about the defense more than the offense right now. Miami is moving the ball at will. And how do we not bump Miami receivers at the goal line? It’s not like they have a full field behind you to run. Don’t give them an easy get-off.

It was an option route for the WR and it only works when the QB and WR are on the same page. They weren’t. Should Josh have turfed it? You can make that case if you want, but there is reason why more than half of Allen’s INT’s are to Gabe.

It’s clear that refs are not going to call PI tonight. But instead of seeing that and being handbag with Miami’s receivers, we are dropping back and playing soft zone. Don’t understand that. All I know if we should b-word that Allen didn’t check it down on the Diggs long pass! How dare he!

A lot of people on this forum wish Josh threw the 5 yard check down instead of throwing it deep to Diggs.

99% of this forum does not understand what an option route is. They think Allen just decided to throw it right to a Dolphin…. not that Gabe interpreted the option different than Josh.
