Down 3 points and you guys are saying game? What a bunch of losers
We've scored ten points in three and a bit quarters and don't look like scoring this half? Whereas the Steelers are a threat on every play.

This game is exactly why I wouldn't have given Allen the big contract until after this season. I needed to see him reproduce last year again before I committed long term, no matter the cost.
Agreed. He hadn't eearned the contract, he was great in bizarre circumstances which were never going to last.

It's not game over but it feels it. The officials have been pathetic but so have Daboll, Allen and the O-Line.

Good call, stop being homers.
Fine, but when the Steelers do it call it too.

Yes, the officials are helping them but we're hardly helping ourselves.

Not sure why they don't just run out clock there
Becuase Josh caught them offside, forgetting that the officials are not permitted to call against the Steelers.

Pitt offense bounce back. 124 yards two drives.
Mainly because the officials are favouring them with everything.

Wish one of these balls would just pop our way
If it did the officials would call us for holding.

Defense declining and Offense reverting back to the first half, save the final series of plays.
This is not looking good.

Josh is on force mode. He's gotta watch it.
Come on D....you know you want that INT back
That's why I was so happy he threw it away before the TD at the end of the half. Common sense and control.
Now abandoned again - why did we go for it there?
-
Right, how many holding penalties will the O Line get against them?

Here they come
Easy to do so when they can do whatever they want against us but as soon as we try and tackle we get penalised.

This should be our ball - at times you have to wonder if the officials are inept or corrupt.

"Josh is so terrible"
Josh proceeds to not miss(only incompletion went exactly where it was supposed to.)
I know it sounds stupid but I was almost happier with the incompletion than the TD - he saw he had little available and didn't try to force it.

That series of plays was more like the Josh we know and love.

Seriously?
I do not want Allen running.
ONLY if critical.
Find an RB!
Josh is far better making up a run play rather than doing so by design.

Beasley was playing on a broken leg and diggs was playing with a torn oblique in the playoffs last year...not to mention the chiefs dbs were allowed to hold whoever they wanted as long as they weren't on tom bradys team lol
That was my favourite yet most infuriating Superbowl in quite a while. Hilarious with the constant holding calls against the Chiefs but where was that before?

Get back in the shotgun, spread them out, and let’s see a Singletary run or two.
Agreed, we can't rely on Allen's arm when he's not got his eye in. We need to switch things up.

Ahh... you are one of those who thinks that an oline should not give more than a second's worth of time against a 4-man rush.... ok
Yeah, fair dues. Allen is the problem WITH the O-line rather than NOT the O-Line. They should have protected him better but... yeesh.

Yeah an unblocked TJ Watt is so easy to handle
So protect the ball - him running around with the ball at his side, what's going to happen next?

Oline getting man handled and needs to give Allen a bit more time
Rubbish - Allen is the problem; not the O-Line. How the feck can he be on that much money and can't protect the ball???

Just now, HalftimeAdjustment said:
Everyone who says "Never change, Josh Allen" should include an "except for the way you hold the ball while running."
Or, going off today, how he throws the ball as well.
For the most part he's costing us the game at the moment.
-
Can we play in an empty stadium? Josh looked far better without fans.

Just now, Strethor said:
You should say the Steelers are playing competitively not saying Josh is playing bad. Make no mistake they are a good team, well coached, and won't roll over easily.
But Josh's issues are of his own making, not the Steelers - like that float ball when he should have launched it.

Maybe we'll stop hyping Allen up as being in the same ballpark as Mahomes now. Nowhere near when the going gets tough.
