Definitely. How was that not pass interference?
ugh I *&$&*$* hate the Titans.
Feels like it's their year - got the officials onside, no question.

The Jets have beaten by both the Titans and the Bengals - they're no gimmie.
-
Josh carried us there and yet he wasn't at 100%. Then again, none of the team were - hopefully it was just a case of getting the cobwebs out after the bye.
But some of Josh's plays... wow.

Another fumble by Fields. This is getting painful to watch.

Looked at their schedule. The Rams may be their only loss the rest of the way.
The Titans do have a tendency to lose to a team they should really beat - that's our hope right now as long as we don't slip up against someone unexpected.
-
Damn, why couldn't we have kept the Titans to 27?
-
Yeah, I'm harsh on Josh at times but can you imagine the reaction on here if he had a game like this?
Hope Mahomes is ok though; that was nasty if accidental.

The Bills copied teams that held KCs offense well and perfected some things that worked pretty well.
TN has a good defensive blueprint to follow. Take away Hill and Kelce, and keep Mahomes hemmed in the pocket and you rattle him into mistakes.
TN seems to be playing off KC now...
Josh can make a difference to our offense; Mahomes is very reliant on Hill and Kelce.

I'm not sure what I want here - a Titans blowout to make our result look better or the Chiefs to win as that'd help us more. Heart the former, head the latter, I think. 😁

I'm so down on the Bills and football, that loss vs Titans crushed me. Oddly enough I felt the same
way last year at the Titans loss...Will take me a few wins to recover. I think I'm still shell shocked
at the music city miracle bs with that franchise.
Same - especially as the Titans lost to the Jets. Yes, we lost to a failed play this year whilst we were blown out in 2020 but that's a lot due to the Titans going backwards in the interim. My issue (even a week on) is we have, on paper, a series of easier games post bye so my confidence won't really return unless we can do something against the Saints and/or Bucs.
-
Three days on and I’m still wobbling. I shouldn’t be - the rational part of me is telling me it happens. And yet the doubts and questions are still running round my head. The first issue is our defense was exposed too readily, and it’s not the first time it’s just collapsed in game. The second issue is we left too many points on the field and, despite his obvious strengths, is Josh learning when it comes to the red zone and some reads or, again, are we just seeing the same things being repeated when we’re put under pressure?
And then there’s the annoying part - beating the Titans would have left us in a superb position to get the first seed. Thanks to our schedule we’re hardly in a bad position now but we’re reliant on others rather than ourselves. I really wish we didn’t have a bye this week so we could try and make amends immediately.

Beat the chiefs, lost to them twice last year. Lost by one score by the Titans, got blown out last year. #2 WR is better than last year. TE is better than last year. Defense is better than last year.
Bills 2020 record through first 6 games last year. 4-2Bills record through 6 games this year. 4-2
Why would some say no?
The Defense looks shaky against a reasonable offense and the Chiefs are a shadow of themselves at the moment. I don’t think it’s feasibly possible to play worse against the Titans than we did last year so I guess there is improvement there! -

Actually, he can. But as you said, he's human, so he doesn't always do what he's capable of doing.
Ah semantics. 😁 -

Yes. Guilty as charged. Even the announcers are guilty. Josh can make any play you want him to make on the field.
Well he can’t, that’s the problem. I can’t get over what we were thinking, drafting a human being as a Quarterback…- 1

Yes they have.
They don't "fall on the wrong side of it far too often" as you said. That's what losing teams do. The Bills literally were in the AFCCG last year.
And had a poor game when we got there. Maybe it’s unfair but I haven’t seen anything so far which suggests this year will be any different. -

Get some sleep. You're living in the past. The Bills were in the AFCCG last year.
Yes, the AFCCG. Not the Super Bowl. Not World Champions. Have we improved this year? I can understand why some are saying no. -
I have had about two hours sleep so might be over-tired; I may look back on this later in the week and think I’m an idiot. However, at the moment, for me, we’ve proven nothing but we’re flat track bullies. We can steamroller weak teams and we managed to beat an out of sorts Chiefs but when someone has our number? We lose. Until we hit maybe the Saints in week twelve we will not be able to prove otherwise either (unless we lose again in the meantime). It may be unlucky, it might be something we “learn from” but how many times have we heard that? And how many times do we make the same mistakes, proving we learn little?
In truth, yesterday was an either way game and we fell the wrong side of it. But that happens far too often. And the Titans are a decent team but not world beaters yet we kept them in the game and allowed them to capitalise. We lost the game yesterday; they didn’t win it. Again that happens all to often - this season alone it’s the second game in six that has occurred.

Maybe with 3 timeouts that's is possibly the right call... but the playbook would've been limited, and a TD was far from guaranteed in that situation, especially given the Offenses shortcomings earlier in the game in similar down and distance.
People are acting as if it was goal to go. He was only picking up another chance or two at a score before potentially still having to settle for a FG, not worth the risk when you factor all that.
Also, there is still a 50% chance Buffalo wins the flip, who's to say Titans ever get the chance to see the field???
I like Josh and the offense's odds against a depleted Titans defense to go right back out there and score if they had won the flip and got the ball right back...
Even if they don't, if I'm McDermott, I still have to have faith in my defense to atleast hold Tennessee to a FG should they win the flip.
Did you see our defense this evening? If Titans had won the toss we would have lost anyway.- 1

Not as good as we thought. Played mahomes well, but who were the other qb’s…
Yep, he’s rubbish. We should run him out of town at the earliest opportunity and do everything to trade up in the draft for a new Quarterback(!)- 3

Well see half this board expect Allen to tackle Henry…cover brown…be the teams best running back…and throw for 5 touchdowns every game
It’s a disgrace he didn’t!In all seriousness, Josh had a good game but the decision making whilst in possession at the start of the fourth quarter cost us the game, despite our awful defence and O-Line. It was hideous and gave them the ball back unnecessarily.

I think the expectations going into this game were a little too high. The Bills just came off a huge emotional victory, the media attention was crowning the Bills AFC super Bowl representatives, Monday Night football game on the road, Titans are physical team which Bills tens to struggle with, and the Bills schedule to date has been pretty soft to say the least.
A little too high considering the Titans couldn’t even beat the Jets and had an ever depleting secondary? Maybe (definitely) at the start of the season a close defeat would be acceptable here but now? After the performances of the Ravens and Cardinals yesterday we could have laid down a further marker - instead we look far too easy to get at once again on both sides of the ball.Yes, there should be no way we don’t make the post season considering the division and our schedule. Do I trust us to do much once we get there? No. This isn’t a single mess up like the Bucs hosting the Saints last year; we have too many issues which raise their head at the wrong time again and again.

Worst part of this is that Tennessee has an extremely easy schedule as well.
That Tennessee team we saw tonight is going to win a lot of games.. especially in a division with Houston, Indy and Jax.
Agreed. Tonight was the opportunity to stamp authority on the AFC. The only plus side is the other sides in the East are in such a mess at the moment.- 1

Disagree with this take. The AFC is pretty wide open and the Bills are right there to represent the AFC.
Every team has strengths and weakness. Also, injuries always play a key role. It's really too early in the season to start crowning or uncrowning a champion. Right now, the Bills are 4-2 and in command of the AFC east. That doesn't suck.
Injuries play such a key role and yet we failed miserably to take advantage of a depleted secondary in that awful series of plays at the start of the fourth?
The Jets turned over the Titans yet too often, offensively and defensively, we turned over a had our tummy tickled. It’s lucky we have such a nice schedule after the bye. The only plus is tonight was a shambles is some regards yet we only lost by three.

Let's be honest, we love it because he's ours - if that was an opposition QB doing that to us we'd be loathing him.
