Rodgers is a whiny b!tch.  He's always miserable.  If this is still about Jordan Love, he needs to remember he was Jordan Love 15 or so years ago

Sounds like it's more on the contract - the Packers want to revise it to assist with the salary cap whilst Rodgers requested an extension so his future could be assured.

It isn't just that. The Packers haven't put a good team around him in years. Their first 3 draft picks were a total waste. They never draft a receiver high. He is sick of carrying the team. And if the latest report is true they lied to him that he would be traded. He has a legitimate gripe with how the organization has treated him.

I think they've drafted three offensive players in the first round since Rodgers' year - two offensive tackles and another Quarterback.

Come on man. They played the Chiefs twice and got beaten soundly both times. They had every opportunity to make that their game plan.

I don’t necessarily accept this argument - the Saints turned over the Bucs twice in the regular season, including a blowout at Raymond James, yet come the play offs the Bucs easily held the upper hand. The Bills are capable of beating the Chiefs and the Bucs but we’d have to bring our A Game to do so.

More than anything else I hope we are able to improve our O And D lines this off-season.  That’s the best thing they can do for this team in my opinion.

We also need to improve the run game though. At the moment defenses know we’re going to look for passes time and again; we need to be able to switch things up to keep them on their toes.

Not at all.  Looks like I did though.  Apologies.

I’ve taken a beating for defending the Bills new arch nemesis.  If I get snarky, I’m sorry.

I think it’s doubly difficult because Josh is so well liked as well, so people end up almost overly defending him. The fact is we’ve seen Super Bowl winning Quarterbacks go backwards for no discernible reason so nothing is set in stone for one year to the next. Josh’s improvements have been sublime over the past year and we can only hope it continues into the next season. I’d argue he’s good enough to win the Super Bowl now but, as with all Quarterbacks, it isn’t just about him.

I will root against him because his family is deeply obnoxious, yes.

I root against opposing players for all sorts of reasons. Here's another reason that I'll root against Pat:

He and his family seem to be of the "gloat/flex when things are going well, pass the blame when things are going poorly" sort.

Note: I'm not saying I wish ill on the man in real life or anything. When it comes to his performance on a football field, yes, I will root against him.

Can’t help but compare (I know, I’m going to be yelled at) with Josh who came out after the AFCCG and put the blame on himself.

Apparently she didn't appreciate anyone thinking Allen was better than Mahomes.  I personally love the finger wag and and cocked head.  Adds a professional, serious tone to her statement.  Also love the Mahomes clone/mini-me seizing in the background.

To be fair, on this and this alone, I think she actually has point. I thought it was going to be her running down Josh but maybe the constant comparisons isn’t the healthiest of things to do.

(Goes to another thread and starts comparing players)

The Bills don't have a running game because Josh was so impactful throwing the ball. I do hope that this team can find more balance when needed but don't expect this team to have a consistent ground game in 2021.

We need to be able to switch to the run, though. The Bucs ability to swing between the two yesterday kept the Chiefs defense on it's toes - the same cannot be said of our game against them.

No question that the officiating was vastly different yesterday from AFC Championship game in terms of letting the CBs be physical.  KC got away with mugging Bills receivers.  When they did it yesterday, it was flagged.  Turned KC's great defense against the Bills into a shell.

And this resulted in me loving the game but finding it infuriating - finally the calls are being made but why now? Why not earlier? Forget our game, what about the helmet to helmet in the Browns match up?

  10. Mahomes is still better than Josh but, as indicated by many experts even after the Championship game the gap isn't nearly as large as some wanted to make out. A few of us, including me, had a slight wobble after that game even though Josh hardly disgraced himself - but yesterday showed what happens to a Quarterback when their OL disappears, and Mahomes didn't look any better than Josh. Indeed, thanks to experience, Josh seems far more comfortable behind a non-existent OL than Mahomes.
