  1. I think tomorrow could have an impact on what we do moving forward. If the Chiefs manage our passing game and we can't execute our running game effectively there's going to be a lot of questions heading into bye week about how to improve the roster to get over the hump, focusing on the O Line and the running backs.
  2. Wish we'd bring Quessenbery in at right guard, move Bates to his preferred left side and drop Saffold.
  3. Sometimes Sky go with the 9:05pm game if it suits them, and then we have a messy handover period unless the early game is a blow out, at which point they ditch it.
  4. In fairness, that’s because we’ve got Josh. Fields is currently like a poor man’s Lamar - legs better than arm.
  5. You’ll regret saying that when this finishes 3-6… after overtime.
  6. If he can stay fit he could be important, though the weakness of the O Line still nags at me and I’d personally prefer us to look at that if anything.
  7. Thanks. Thought something like that would be the case, to be honest.
  8. Though it’s basically what the Rams did for Miller - gave the Broncos a 2nd and 3rd on 1st November, won the Super Bowl, then he signed a contract with us.
  9. For those in the U.K., we’re unsurprisingly the late evening game: Early evening: 49ers at Falcons Late evening: Bills at Chiefs
  10. Probably far too early to ask this but, as I’m trying to sort out leave at work, does anyone know when the dates and times will be announced for the home games against the Dolphins (week 15) and the Pats (week 18)? All other games are known but those are still TBD. Thanks.
  11. I'm trying to figure out whether I'd be happy to send Carolina our 2023 1st and Moss for McCaffrey, upgrading the draft pick due to sending them a weaker player. I'd possibly be ok with that.
  12. Not a fan of trading Singletary for McCaffrey. Moss, sure, but not Singletary.
  13. Sorry, I got it, just found it funny. I have a stange sense of humour.
  14. Because, if they lost the toss, they probably expected to concede a touchdown anyway.
  15. Clearly, the figures say as much. But doesn’t look like it’s going that way.
  16. A sliding doors moment. If we hadn’t traded the pick and chosen Mahomes, how would he have fared here? And who would they have picked instead?
  17. Legit Ogs? Never heard of him, what position does he play?
  18. We've decided our medical team isn't busy enough?
  19. Though part of the reason why it, on paper, is quite soft after week eight is we have played/will be playing the Rams, the Titans, the Ravens, the Chiefs and the Packers in five of the first eight weeks. Our schedule is top heavy. I suppose at the start of the season we would have said weeks 11-13 would have been the tough spot for the Eagles, against the Colts, Packers and Titans. Otherwise, other that the Cowboys, it looked soft from the off.
  20. He'd only get suspended if he gave a decision against Brady.
  21. In all seriousness, they're down two Quarterbacks so could pick him up as cover.
  22. Would like to see Bates at LG again before completely writing him off.
  23. To be honest at 38-3 down I think I'd be asking why is Josh still out there and why was he taking that big a risk in a garbage time, opening himself up to a tackle.
  24. The Eagles have faced the Lions, Vikings, Commanders, Jaguars and now the Cardinals. Not exactly the most fearsome buch of teams. Indeed, they have a very nice schedule overall, especially considering how the likes of the Colts and the Packers are playing this year.
