If the Bills are flying back they're not playing tomorrow. And only you are saying they're acting callously.

For what reason? What good can they do there? Right now they probably want to hug their partners, their parents, their kids. Thank goodness Damar's mother was at the stadium today, but quite a few family members wouldn't have been. Get them away from where it happened, get them back where they belong and take stock.

Vitals back to normal - hope that means he is able to breathe by himself again.

Obviously our key concern is with Damar and his family and rightly so, and of course the rest of the Bills coaches, backroom staff and players going through this. But thoughts and prayers going up for Tee Higgins as well. He made a football play; there was nothing overly nasty or horrible about that challenge. It wasn't his fault - and he must feel awful right now.

The biggest issue from the NFL point of view was "give them five minutes and get playing". It may not have been head office that made that call; it may have been the officials trying to react in the moment. But it was not a good look.

But when he was stretchered from the pitch he was concious, breathing by himself, being able to interact. Damar wasn't.

As said, Eriksen was fully concious, breathing by himself and actually giving people the thumbs up when he left the pitch. Two very different scenarios. 🙁

I over-react to sport as a safety valve from the serious matters of real life. When an actual serious matter then collides with sport it's... calling it an eye opener doesn't even call it justice.

The Dolphins, Steelers and possibly Jaguars might have something to say about the Pats game being forfeited. And the Ravens may be unimpressed if this is given to the Bengals. But there are far more important things going on at the moment.

Can you imagine what it's like for them? They're not news broadcasters who are trained to be solemn and serious but keep the programme flowing. None of them want to be there, doing this, right now.

Agreed. I reckon the discussion is more whether we think we'll be ok to play tomorrow and what the outcome would be if not, whilst trying to appear sensitive at the same time. The ESPN pundits have said the game needs to be postponed. The right people know how Damar is, but it's difficult not after what we saw. Least it sounds like he's being sent to one of the best hospitals for cardiac trauma.
