And I think we sgould wait and actually see how thy perform before we dismiss them as "sucking".....as far as depth/injuries go, the same can pretty much be said for any position on any team in the salary cap era....

Forgot Ross Tucker!...and Mike Pucillo... I do not believe we are anywhere near as bad or lacking talent as many here or the media (national) would lead you to believe.....watching the Cincinnati game I saw our first team O dominate the line of scrimmage and the D play pretty solidly, especially against the run...what hurt us were mistakes and I think we have the right coaching staff to correct that....

there has been 100% turnover from 2004..... LT Gandy replaces Jennings.....though JJ was good, he was hurt a lot and Gandy has quietly been solid LG - Tuten Reyes replaces Bennie Anderson/Lawrence Smith - 2 less penalties a game? C - Melvin Fowler replaces Trey Teague - though Teague didn't perform as poorly as some would think, Fowler is an upgrade IMO RG - Villarial picks up where he left off last year....though older, he is tough and his veteran leadership should have a positive impact on the younger players RT - Peters in his second year will outperform Mike Williams in any year My point: Our line just may night be a weak link this year...couple in a decent offense and playalling, they may even be good...I do like what I've seen from the starters so far this year.....

It's slow time of the year (football wise) so I know this has been brought up, but it seems like it's "in vogue" to bash the Bills, Ralph, Marv, etc....While I do not expect a superbowl this year, I also think that our boys are going to surprise a lot of people...none of us of course!

I personally could give a crap what they say but I also think there is going to be some crow eaten: Last year we were predicted to make a playoff run based on a dominating D, a ground oriented attack riding the back of McGahee and a conservative apporoach to allow a young qb to cut his teeth. Well, D had some key injuries and underachieved. Mcgahee sat on 3rd downs and whatever that offense we had was called, it was not conservative. We left Losman hung out to dry imho. My point is this: we were competetive last year in most games and now we seem to have direction. There is still talent here and, although anything is possible, in my opinion we will be anything but horrid. When we aren't getting kicked around like predicted those m'fers can kiss our collective asses.

I almost tossed a beer at the tv when they switched it over. Then I realized a) my tv would be gone and b) so would my beer..... That did piss me off.

Well, I'm lucky. I am dating a girl in TN (only knock is that she is a Titans fan)...and she is such a sports fan, football especially, that when we go to my Dad's in Florida this weekend she had be assured we wouldn't miss the first round on Saturday. Not only that, when she found out that my Dad and I are going to get to a sports bar for the Sabres game she made me promise that we would take her and not make her have to go to the mall with my step-mother who is not into sports.... *** the best is that when I have a game (hockey), she drives so I can "have a couple with the boys after without worrying"..... Keeper?

I think one thing that is being over-looked is that we drafted a stud TE last year, Kevin Everett.....we need to look elsewhere first IMO

Steve Mariucci = West Coast Offense We DO NOT need a WCO here...it takes a good three years for a QB to learn and we do not have 3 years.....seen the posts here on the retard rodeo??? We need a good OC that can quickly implement a solid scheme to fit our players.

We could reincarnate Vince Lombardi himself to coach and there would be a bitchfest here. Lets give the guy a chance.....he has HC experience (what we all cried for), is well respected by players and coaches he's worked with, intelligent, WILL WORK WELL WITH OUR GM AND FRONT OFFICE, etc. Read Bob Mathews article in today's D&C and see that people like Bill Polian, Marv, Steve Mariucci, etc. think highly of him and it seems he was in a no win situation in Chicago. It may change your mind a little..... I love this team and am willing to wait and see before I pass judgement.

Drawn out? Mularky resgined 1 week ago and we have interviewed several candidiates since and will most likely have a new coach in place by Monday or Tuesday. I prefer a little due dilligence.... hing is, some will complain if it's a quick processs because we didn't search enough and the other half will complain if we take our time because we dragged it out....and we ALL know that no matter who the new coach is there will be some segments complaining. I'd take anybody as long as we get back to being a playoff caliber team soon!

It's an INTERVIEW......I hipe they interview a ton of guys and then make a decision in lieu of just hiring someone..... Again, it's an INTERVIEW, doesn't mean it's a hire........

The reason it's a sh*t job is that the owner is a buffoon who does not spend a lot of $ on quality......and they were hamstrung by Ditka giving away every pick the year Ricky was taken......no coach, and there has been some great ones there...Bum Phillips, Jim Mora, Ditka, had ever won a playoff game there until Hasslett did....and he was coach of the year in 2000..... One thing that always bothered me with posters here:...why is there an underlying assumption that players or coaches never learn from past experiences and improve? Or for that matter that our "dream" coaches players will even come here....Haslett would come in with several years experience including a playoff win....I'll take that against an unproven coordinator any day...

MM is the highest paid coach in Bills history......and if it weren'r for "chepo" Ralph, you wouldn't have a team to B word and whine about here. I can't believe what lack of respect a few on here give to Mr. Wilson.....of course, most of those bitching will be back in school in the morning.
