  1. I’m talking about that since few weeks now.
  2. He lost the swagger and confidence … he looks always scared on what is coming to him after the snap. But i’m wondering also why we don’t use slant routes more and more to let Allen let the football fly before he can be under pressure. Daboll and McD are lost !
  3. You did not at all. Like i said, all the points are valid, mine is the mental aspect first. And maybe everything start with the HC: honestly, with BB and not MCD, what would be our record ? The same ? Worst or better ? I think we have a very good talent team with a couple of weak points, OL and backs, but what team doesn’t have weak points ? It’s up to the coaches to find a way to minimize them .. and one way is the attitude on the field. Sometimes, you can get more from a player than what he really has in talent, just because the level of effort the HC can obtain from him, made him reach better performances.
  4. My friend… this is just my opinion, never said it’s the holy truth or the only problem this team have. I just don’t see that “fire” in our guys during the games, not only on last MNF. I did agree with many points people wrote down here, but i still have the feeling that with more toughnesses we could avoid at least a couple of loss, Jags for sure and maybe Indy, with those two wins we would be 9-3. But again, just my opinion.
  5. Yeah right …. maybe all the SB talk and campaign made them too cocky losing the gritty trait ..
  6. Unfortunately, my friend, softness is a part of this Bills team squad. Not the only problem, but alongside stupid mistakes and poor red zone scoring, is the main one. Besides those, everything you wrote is correct and in agreement with the quick pass scheme for Allen too. Hit Bees and Knox and wrs on slant and play action and see if we score just 10 points a game.
  7. Many times in the past I declared that we have to play more slant routes and jet sweep routes, using Bees and Knox for short passes. That because our bad OL that can’t give Allen the time to scan downfield for long gain passes.
  8. “IMO what's soft and squishy is this analysis.” Thank you for this nice comment. I never pretended to have the holy truth, i just shared my personal opinion respecting, many times agreeing and not judging others. Anyway i already said that stupid mistakes have been another great reason we lost many games, maybe it all start with lack of focus. I hope i’m wrong and you right bro.
  9. And I respect your opinion at all… agreeing with you about our embarrassing mistakes during many games we played, also in the ones we won.
  10. Agree that the core of a team, DL and OL, can influence the success of a team, and correct too that if you have a mvp caliber qb you have to protect him at first and if if you get destroyed by heavy running teams, you have to focus on strengthen that weak part of the team. But in order to do that, you have to look for and add “killer type” players, before looking for talent, because on the lines you must have killer type players.
  11. Your point is good, so you are saying that the difference between last year and this one is bad luck on few plays during the games we lost ? It could be… but if you play HARD all the entire game, with the talent we have, you won’t be almost never in a luck-bad luck situation.
  12. I can not disagree at all. It’s something belonging to this Franchise, at this point.
  13. Because, maybe, he’s just another “normal” reason, not the main one that i talked about.
  14. Every aspect you bros have mentioned is correct. Bad rush defense, bad OL, very bad backs and running game, Daboll, Frazier… and some of you said McDermott too. We had great expectations at the beginning of the season.. media thought we were one of the SB favorite .. great offense with a MVP caliber QB, great receivers, great defense over all. Ok, we knew we were lacking at backs position.. but maybe not that bad.. and anyway we had Josh Allen, our MVP caliber QB. I always thought that in order to become a SB contender, everything start with the QB position and honestly i still think we have one of the top 5. Maybe top 3. But, but, but … to me, the main problem to this team is the lack of BALLS and GRITTY ATTITUDE. And i didn’t start thinking like that right after the MNF loss, i always had this feeling about this team. We could compete against every team… we have the talent to be a 10-2 team at this moment, a 9-3 at worst, but we are 7-5 because we lost some game because our softness. And this is not something you can fix… or you have it, or you don’t, i mean the mental strength to play every game and every snap like if it was the last one, a snap that can win or lose a game. The best teams in every sports have always few players, leaders by example, that drag the rest of the team.. and this beside the talent. Of course many of you won’t agree with me, i totally respect that, but this is my personal point.
  15. Let’s play quick e short… if the wind will really be so heavy, play to gain 3/4 yards per attempt and not deep downfield with no control at all.
  16. Well… obviously we all know the “weight” about tonight game vs the Pats but after the sunday’s putcome it gained more and more importance. We are 5th at 7-4 and with the wins of Pitts and KC all the four ahead of us in the Conference standing are 8-4. Winning tonight would be beyond than huge… i can say crucial for our moment and season expectations. After yesterday scores tonight we can’t really miss the chance to regain the lead the Division first and the credit in the Conference and League. We are the better team ? Everybody here think yes, me too, but almost everybody here is really worried about the tonight result. Josh and company will feel the high stake too… i really hope they will be able to play in control of their emotion, using all their energies on the field playing a great and smart game, don’t having any regret at the end. The refs ? Well… let’s stop to think little and start thinking big, we can control our future tonight and playing a great game won’t let the refs control it. But we must play a very smart game, without stupid mistakes. We play at home, in our house, supported by almost 70k great fans, the very best in sport, let’s make this day a day to remember like the ones of the Marv, Kelly and Bruce time. LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BILLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS ! Let’s make us proud of you guys !!!!!!!
  17. Great to see many of you loved the no huddle O and that think it could work for us. Let’s scary defenses with this super aggressive scheme letting them know that we always play for their throat!
  18. Kenneth Davis maybe.
  19. To me, Breida can catch the ball.
  20. Who knows… maybe with the no huddle our backs would benefit thanks to that and would play better…
  21. Yes… Allen should have more freedom to call plays here and there, based in what he’s seeing in the fiele and feeling at the moment. The no huddle would speed up our rhythm and create tons of troubles for defenses. But i agree that maybe, to do that, you need a couple of very good backs. I just remember very well the excitement during our drives… it was a beauty to see and enjoy. Let’s take back that strenght to our Bills !!!
  22. You right… maybe it’s risky, but exactly like you said, i mean that is something we could use more, not always, to give defenses less time to adjust and harass Allen.
