The year that AVP started and we were so terrible, my local stations starting showing the Jets games instead. I live between Binghamton and Rochester. So, at about Binghamton, the coverage shifts to NY city instead of the Bills. Anyways, Im kind of on the line and as long as the Bills win a few, I think WBNG will still cover them. However, I think if they lose 2 more games without a win, WBNG will stop showing them. Man does that tick me off when they do that! Were not even close to the blackout rule either. Were like over 2 hours from Buff. and its a Binghamton station.

Has to be. Its the only reason to not be hyped about our future QB possibly getting into the game. Must be he's still pissed because they keep going skill positions rather than o-lineman in the 1st. Ohh well, sorry, but it aint gonna stop. We may just have our next Jim Kelly in Losman and I cant wait till he plays. QB is without a doubt the most important position on the field!

THERE IS A GOD!!!!!! Thank god, I dont feel alone in saying that the QB is the MOST IMPORTANT POSITION PERIOD!!!! Clowns like Delhomme can win on SOME teams, but we will never be one of them. THIS team needs a QB who will FORCE them to stop stumbling over themselves. THIS team needs a fiery competitor, Losman is it!

Well, the Lions that I saw played the best team in the NFL right now pretty damn hard. A rookie, Roy Williams, torched the field today against a tough Philly D. The jury is out on who I would prefer to have. Harrington is one of my favorite young QB's but Losman has more ability in my opinion. If Losman had just been our starter for a year plus, I would prefer Losman hands down. But, he still has LOTS of growing pains to go through. I promise you one thing though. If this team stinks the way Im afraid they will, Losman should start when healthy!! Hes our future and Drew (at this point) looks to be about done! The thing I like about BOTH is they have a fiery competitors attitude.

Ohh, 1 more 7) Some how kill the cancerous attitude on this team. Great players come here and somehow end up being not so great. Is it that? or is that they become infected with a complacant, nothing I do matters, we cant win, attitude.

OK, Lets try this again. Im simple terms, I have a few major reasons why I think we are in trouble for a few more years. 1) TD has an ego problem- after losing his pissing match with Cowher, he wont hire a coach with a pedigree who might second guess him. And he absolutely wont hire a fiery motivator type. Big mistake on THIS team because we have always seemed to need a kick square in the ass at times. 2) QB's without a fiery competitive attitude. Again, see previous point on dishing out ass whoopins when needed to force strong, competitive play from teammates. Losman has the RIGHT attitude for the Bills but will his teammates accept him and respond accordingly? 3) Conservative attitude towards FA- Seems to be a problem where we wont pay top dollar for players who REALLY DO DESERVE IT and for players that we BADLY need. Damien Woody, Jevon Kearse come to mind. 4) Making draft day trades, GOOD, results so far, BAD!- Drew, Peerless for McGahee. TD may have finally got it right with Losman, the trade may have been worth it, dont know yet. Nex time trade for your future star QB ALOT EARLIER! Dont trade for your rivals backup QB! Dont trade away a solid #2 WR. Dont be afraif to trade away depth to move up and get stars. Could have traded Henry or McGahee for some deal to get Roy Williams, who right now, is blowing Lee Evans AWAY! 5) Yes, I cant believe Im saying this, DRAFT STUD o-lineman! or sign them I dont care. But dont cut Ruben then sign Villarial. Thats not enough upgrade. Keep Ruben AND sign Viallarial. 6) Some how, some way, get someone to hammer this team into learning to allow themselves to win. What I mean is dont let them beat themselves anymore. Stop shooting themselves in the foot!

Dont know where you clowns are getting this stuff from. I am now and always will be a Bills fan!!! In most cases, I would be just like you and forever defending the Bills as winners. But a funny thing happened to me, I started realizing that i truly was FOREVER defending them! Then I broke it down, and I can see clearly that this team has a losers attitude. Take the passion out of that statement and think about it. Do winners give up a holding penalty in the red zone? Do winners give up 2 4th down plays to lose the game? Do winners with winners attitudes fumble the ball in the red zone? Im starting a new post that is dedicated JUST to discussing the Bills woes. Sorry for bringing up the Lions, they have NOTHING to do with the Bills. Only pointing out that they made bolder moves highered better pedigrees, and signed better FA's. Thats all. I am a Lions fan now if for nothing else for having something uplifting to watch this season! I would think you guys could understand that.

Terrell Owens...no. Damien Woody...no. Lawrence Smith...yes? Set up, spend money for players that are worth it. Make trades for guys with a fiery competitors attitude I dont care, just start pushing that bolder up the hill in Buffalo and plow through the losers attitude that has plagued us for years!

Go ahead and bash if you like. I see nothing wrong in rooting for 2 teams in 2 seperate comferences. Im not saying im not a Bills fan, I always will be. But im now convinced that this team is diseased and needs a major dis-membering to get back to a winners attitude. Im going to be in a positive mood again when Losman is starting, Bledsoe is gone, Mularkey grows a pair or starts forcing these players to play, and TD gets over himself, starts getting real and starts getting real players!

Many of you know that I have basically become a farewell fan to the Bills. I am convinced that the have a losers attitude and are diseased because of it. I have recently (last 2 years) become a Lions fan as well. I will never dis-own the Bills, but I see it will take HUGE changes to become a team of winners, I have NEVER seen that from the Bills, and I believe that it wont happen for many to come. Sorry, its been two painfull for too long. Anways, Lets take a look at the differences between a Lions team who is on the rise, and the Bills who continue to wallow in the gutter. 2001: Bills drafting at 21 take Nate Clements- Solid starter who has been infected to not act like a winner and give up a 40 yard pass play on 4th and 22. Lions drafting at 18 take Jeff Backus who continues to start on a line that has given up the fewest sacks in the league since 2002 when Harrington has started. Lions in round 2 pick (19) take Dominic Raiola- starting C, who is a young stud. Bills take Aaron Schobel (15)- Aaron has been the Bills leading sacker, but isnt that the best of the worst? 2002 draft Lions at 3 pick take Joey Harrington- guy I like alot who has a fiery winners attitude. Bills at 4 wanted Harrington but werent willing to make a move up a spot to get him. Instead take Mike Williams, Bills current bust. And then trade for Bledsoe who was basically being let go by Pats because he wasnt going to start for them. Doesnt that mean we got the Pats backup as our starter? Round 2 Lions take Kalimba Edwards just before Bills take Josh Reed. Lions win again with a guy who is a future stud pass rusher, and Bills end up with a slot receiver who cant even win the #2 job. 2003 draft Lions picking #2, yes they sucked bad enough to be at #2, but also gave there future QB lots of playing time, (see Peyton Mannings first year starting). Lions pick Charles Rogers who is a star WR period. Bills, well they also sucked but had already traded their 13th pick to the Pats for the Pats backup QB has-been Drew Bled-slow. Bills recouped a 1st rounder by trading Peerless Price which cost them any reasonable offense the next year, but hey they dont need 2 star WR's right? WRONG, Lions prove its smarter to draft skill players...more on that in a minute. Bills take McGahee who sits the entire year and now plays as a backup every now and again. 2004 draft Lions pick Roy Williams, yes Roy Williams WR at #7. Lions already have Charles Rogers but drafted Roy Williams at 7. OUR fans would have never stopped complaining about this one. Lions took best player available and IMO best WR in the draft. Lions are sitting there with an up and coming QB, young star WR in CHarles Rogers, and now a young star in Roy Willams. Bills wanted a young star WR but wouldnt do what it took to trade up to get Roy. Even when the Lions really wanted a RB first and foremost but the draft was weak at that position. Bills had 2 RB's who (in there minds) were both studs, but wouldnt trade either and move up. Fast forward, Bills have seen absolutely nothing from Evans, Lions lose Rogers for year and Roy steps right in and plays like a stud. Lions then took Kevin Jones later in the draft. Coaching: Donahoe who loses in a pissing match with his fiery head coach Bill Cowher, now refuses to ever pick up a stud head coach for the Bills, instead opting to get young guys with no experience hoping to make the right choice and ride it into the playoffs. Well, we skipped out on John Fox, and Marvin Lewis and opted for Gregg Williams. Now we go after Mularkey. Lions went ahead and added a stud head coach in Mariucci a few years ago. Free Agency: Lions sign players like Damien Woody, Dre Bly, Az Hakim, Dan Wilkinson, Earl Homes, Brock Marion Bills sign cheaper players like Chris Villarial, Pierson Prioleau, Bobby Shaw. But, to be fair, did get players like Troy Vincent, Takeo Spikes, Sam Adams So, Lions go ahead and take a young fiery QB and now have a young budding star who helps his team to win with both attitude and play. Lions sign stud head coach who knows how to win and forces the team to do so. Lions draft best skill player available even with Charles Rogers on the roster, and he is lighting up the field for them. Lions go ahead and pay the price for bigger name FA and have a o-line that bosts Stockar McDougle, Damien Woody, Dominic Riaola, David Loverne, Jeff Backus OUCHH!!!! By the way, they go aheda and pay for a successfull TE like Stephen Alexander not trading for a backup in Mark Campbell or another teams cast off like David Moore. Bills play it conservative and trade a first rounder for the Pats backup QB and a guy who simply isnt fiery at all. The sign no-name head coach, so that TD wont ever be questioned, and the team full of players who are infected with a losers attitude simply shrug and say, "ohh well, its just another guy I wont play my hardest for". Then the Bills again go conservative and wont move up for the best WR in the draft when Mould sis getting up there and they have no #2. Instead opting to reach for a speedster with good hands at 13. Bills choose to go the cheap route cutting there best o-lineman in Ruben, and not signing the best o-lineman available but instead sign Villarial, ohh and start a undrafted FA who up till now has been camp fodder in Lawrence Smith. To wrap up, Bills have a no-name coach who is stuck coaching players who dont care at this point. They skipped out on high rated draftees opting to "let the draft come to them" and got stuck with a DE who is a #2 at best, a WR who hasnt shown squat, another WR who is at best a #3 (Reed), a huge goof ball OT, and another teams backup QB who has as much pizazz as his home state Montana! And we wonder why we cant win? Ill root for this team again when TD is gone so that we wont have ego issues when signing a new big-name head coach who knows how to win. A front office who knows how important the best players in the draft can be. A front office who knows why FA command as much money as they do and pays them accordingly to be competitive. When we start our young star QB who has a winners attitude and forces his squad to do the same, and when this team shows on the field that they do what it takes to win, and stops shooting themselves in the foot. In the meantime, I will root for my NFC team, the Lions, who have a winners attitude and do things the RIGHT way!

In the immortal words of Corso, Not so fast! If Losman starts when he comes back, he may just prove to us that he was worth the 1st overall! Besides, we cant lose them all, can we? Nevermind, this IS the Bills!

I, like you, was always saying, "at least we got there" in reply to you lost 4 SB's. Yeah, we did get there. But we lost ALL 4! That should have been a clue about what this team is all about. But I, like many of you, hung in there thinking this was a "tough, blue collar" town and team that would get it done. What a crock of sh_t. Yesterday, after watching that Pop Warner squad do everything they could to lose, and yes, then lose, I was so ticked that I couldnt see straight. Something along the lines of, "here we go again". It all makes sense now though. Nothing short of a major Biopsy (and thats what it should be called), can kill this disease. Its not lack of talent. It never has been. Its lack of being a winner. Its being a perpetual loser, and then merely carrying out what you already know you are. We had our chances to right the ship. When Drew came to town. He had just left a healthy team, at team that isnt diseased, isnt us. So, he had the winners mentality. He lead his offense to many heroic overtime and late in the game wins. I saw a spark of the Kelly era where no matter what the scoreboard said, we were in it. But, the defense had already been infected and did everything they could to lose. By the end of that season Drew and the offense had become infected as well. GW leaves, more winners, like Spikes, were added but quickly have become infected with Buffalos losers mentality. Enter Mularkey, who came from a winners team that has won several SB's and plays tough regardless of personnel or any other excuse out there. The Jags game, yes, week 1 sealed the deal for this season. The players were looking for any reason to drop back into there losing ways. But Mularkey put them into a position to win anyways. And guess what, the players managed to seal the deal and blow that game. Yesterday, we simply watched what this team is capable of when your diseased, a game that makes you want to disembowl yourself. No hint of tough minded, winners attitude at all. So we come to it, what can be done. Unfortunately, not much. Theres only 2 guys who have yet to be infected and who could make some form of an impact on our season. Losman, and who knows maybe hes screwed already too, is hurt. Mularkey is the other. Mularkey will have to do nothing short of becoming Bill Parcells to get this team to the playoffs. Nothing short of a winner who just wont become infected and has enough control to force losers to win can get this team to win. I dont see that type of guy to be honest but I guess hope springs eternal. Hes got one last chance to straighten it out, yes, in only week 2, how sad. I wasnt going to continue to put all my eggs in one basket. Too many disheartening losses on this team. It looks like my Lions have the winning ways, maybe its time to watch the Bills from afar until they complete there insurmountable task of a complete massive biopsy. I will always say, "Go Bills". But, this year im screaming, "Go Lions". 2 words Losman, Harrington.

I completely agree. My number 1 choice is keep the line just like it is, keep Jennings. Maybe TD does resign him, i really hope so. But if he does let him walk, we need an upgrade. Jennings is our best o-lineman at this point.

He is worshipped as the second coming of Montana, he aint even close. He would suck moose crank on ANY other team. Belichek MAKES Brady. Without him, Brady is the next Gus Ferrotte or Rick Mirer

Brady vs. Cards. Lots of talent on the Cards but they just dont play like a team. Besides, whos there great DB's? Peyton can put up numbers against anyone, and probably scores 3 TD's against Tenn, But Brady has a shot to throw for 4 or more against the Cards.

Pace is a hold out I believe, Marshall is up there in years. McGahee an our 2nd for Pace. Jennings is probably gone, although Id love to have him. I just seesm that his mantra is to let players go into FA and then sign a different player. Cowart-Fletcher Winfield-Vincent Brown-Villarial Pace would be awesome.
