Ken Dorsey can’t use one tight end, why do we need two? Great job blowing a pick for him too Beane.

We’re taking Kincaid. What a waste.

I’d say it was for his number of rushing yards but he got -3 of those.

When we fail in the playoffs again this season, McDermott will scapegoat Dorsey and hire a DC from outside. When we fail again the next season, McDermott will get fired and we will replace him with some other defensive coach. Beane will go too.

Might beat Bates out. Now can we get a real right tackle???

Fake competition so we can pretend like Brown actually has a shot at losing this job

Beane loves Spencer Brown. He shouldn’t but he does. He has made every excuse in the book for him, from injuries to not playing 3 years ago because of COVID. People shouldn’t expect Beane to get anything besides nominal competition for him. Brown will be our starting RT, and we won’t draft OL until round 3 at the earliest because he doesn’t value it. I really hope I’m wrong.

The last couple seasons, we've gotten ourselves stuck in a vicious cycle.
We go into the draft with a couple glaring needs. This forces us to reach for a position, instead of going with the best player.
Lackluster drafts lead to more roster holes/needs in future offseasons. Rinse, repeat...
Right now, the Bills have huge needs at:
- Running Back
- Right Tackle
- Middle Linebacker
This roster could also use some help at Wide Receiver (both outside deep threat and slot). We don't know when Von Miller will return from his ACL, so maybe another pass rusher. Depth along the O-Line and Tight End.
If we don't address these positions with a (starting caliber) veteran, then it basically pigeonholes us for the draft. Brandon Beane will have no choice but address these positions in the first three rounds. Regardless of how the draft talent actually falls.
I agree on Right Tackle, but unfortunately I don't think Beane does. He loves Brown too much for him to consider it a major need. -
Hope this doesn’t mean the return of Singletary

You just got that song stuck in my head.

Harty is intriguing. Was hurt last year. Still would need another WR but as a Mckenzie replacement he wouldn't be bad.

Hopefully the move is cutting him.

Can't wait to see the terms. 4 Million again? If anyone calls him LB depth they have lost their minds.

McDermott doesn’t like playing rookies. He might have to this year though.

He won't be back in 2024. Still McDummy's defense, but at least Frazier is out. Great news

It doesn’t matter what running back we have if we don’t have a line that can block for him.

That's exactly why eventually Josh will get fed up with this organizational philosophy. If McB doesn't go hard on OL, WR, etc this April, I could see a slow divide begin. At the very least the contract controlled olineman should've been acquired in 19, 20, 21. You ask your superstar qb to do 85% of the offensive production while Abbott & Costello waste picks on defensive busts.
And hopefully when that happens, the Pegulas will make the right choice and pick Allen over McDefense

Complete malpractice. This regime will be gone soon if they don’t start devoting some resources to offense.

If Allen isn’t protected, the season is over before it started because we will not go anywhere past another blowout in the playoffs. And no, replacing Saffold with a new starter but bringing back Dawkins, Morse, Bates, and Brown and hoping for “improvement” is not acceptable.

Perfect. We can use the earthquake as one of our many excuses when we lose in the playoffs again next year. Start the list up!

1. He was terrible in Minnesota
2. He's 63 years old
3. His defense is not that good and blows it in the playoffs.
4. He is boring

Could very well be our next DC.Giving the DC job to a guy who can't even coach his position group seems like a terrible idea. But he's a McDermott friend from Carolina so it would be on brand.
