  1. I don’t understand how anyone can defend Beane’s record on defensive line signings aside from Jones, Leonard Floyd, and Oliver’s extension.

    Star

    Tim Settle

    Quinton Jefferson

    Phillips

    Vernon Butler

    Poona

    Murphy

    Addison

    Miller

    The record speaks for itself

Like many contracts,  I think Knox's will get better with time.  The cap just had a dramatic increase and league revenues will likely continue to rise substantially.

In 2 years we'll have some big contracts off the books and and replaced with younger players deals.  I don't think Knox has a contract we should be worried about.  Plus,  he'll likely have a restructure coming up.

Knox had 186 receiving yards last year for 13 million a year. It is a disaster of a contract.

Unless I'm mistaken, Rooney Rule states only 1 external minority needs to be interviewed for Coordinator spots. With the Bills speaking to Desai they already met the requirements. This is not that.

I would like to see Babich get the spot so we don't lose him, however this guy has worked with McDermott before. Could end up on the staff in some capacity.

We did the same thing when we promoted Dorsey. Interviewed him, the Ravens WR coach, Raiders WR coach (both minorities). Unless we interview one more, it’s probably a similar thing with it being Babich, Desai, and Caldwell. Still not convinced it is an actual search.

  4. Good to get some fresh people in here. Eric Washington didn’t exactly impress. 5 years for Oliver to turn into an impact player. Hasn’t developed anyone else. The resources we spend on the DL far outweigh the production.

Are we really donating for every single thing now? Like what ? Have we become so soft as a fan base that we accept a Loser mentality.  We are seriously donating to a man that didn't do his job. We as fans are fostering this losing culture.

Make it make sense. And don't give me the bull crap about feeling bad for him because of "death threats " . These were most likely sent by a couple keyboard warriors and aren't at all indicative of the fan base as a whole. Bass knows that , everyone knows that  ... we don't need to donate to make our players "feel better ". DO YOUR JOB

I echo the sentiment that the over the top charity donation stuff is a bit tiresome at this point.

Don't get me wrong, people can do whatever they please with their hard earned money but at what point do you actually address the issue at hand...in this case Bass missing a crucial game tying kick in a postseason game and being a major liability all year?

It's just like the fans arriving at the airport in the middle of the night stuff......maybe take a page from pretty much every other NFL and pro sports fanbase and realize this stuff makes zero sense in the bigger picture unless this team actually does something that warrants it like you know...win a championship.

It has truly gotten out of control. Anytime something bad happens, fans immediately start looking for a charity to donate to. It was kind of cool when they did it for Andy Dalton, and when they did it for Allen’s grandmother and Hamlin. That’s it. Donating for Lamar and Tua when they got concussions was silly. Donating to Nashville charities when Titans fans bought bots on Twitter to win a fan poll was even more ridiculous. Donating to a charity to make the Ravens radio guy feel guilty for insulting Buffalo made people look small time. The most ridiculous part is they announce it to the world that they have donated and congratulate each other on donating. It’s not about donating to a good cause, it’s become about the publicity and attention people get for donating money. As long as everyone can tweet #BillsMafia and people like Del Reid can self congratulate themselves, I’m sure this will continue.

  6. Spending 5m on a recieving back coming off an ACL tear just shows how much we are spinning our wheels. That money could go to a meaningful upgrade, but nope, let’s use it on Hines. Running backs are dime a dozen, we signed Johnson off the scrap heap and he was productive. There is truly no hope with these complacent people in charge.

  7. I’d bet big money on a safety

I'm all about the LB from Texas AM in the 1st. Sure handed deep threat in the 2nd. Safety from Maryland in 3rd or Moose Muhammad. Resign Rapp

We don’t need a LB for anything more than depth. We have two and we will continue to play nickel every down

  8.

And last year Damar Hamlin got hurt and there was a terrible blizzard, and the year before there was a coaching miscommunication on 13 seconds, year before that we weren’t ready and the pass rush wasn’t good enough. The list of excuses continues to grow…
