Didn’t realize Cincy and Philly won the SB.  Because if memory serves me it was KC who won and didn’t have a 1A let alone a 1B at WR.

But to answer your question…Cincy has a 1B WR because their QB, WR1, and WR2 are ALL on rookie contracts.  Philly has a 1B WR because their QB and WR 1B are on rookie contracts.

Bottom line is you don’t need to have a 1B at WR, and most teams don’t unless they have a rookie contract at QB and hit on at least one of the WRs at 1A or 1B through the draft.

It still amazes me how anyone can still not understand this.

All of this is besides the point. It is possible to have a 1A and 1B without rookie QB contracts, it’s just we aren’t prioritizing it. KC has Kelce who is basically a 1A and had JuJu which is basically a 1B.

How can we have a 1B if we never draft a quality WR to begin with? Most teams dedicate at least a 1st rounder or 2-3rd on one and develop them. Instead we waste them on no talented d linemen like Basham and AJE. Diggs gets taken out on a lot of games and we have no answers. Wasting prime Josh.

Avg means jack. The fact the hit goes up in future years makes spending more now important. Lots of guys have been getting one year or short deals.

and some how Mahomes with a bigger contract are still able to add $20m per players.

This. We likely have 1-2 years to get this right. We need to do everything in our power to get a 1B WR to pair next to Diggs. If that means trading Ed or someone else to make that happen, you do it. This is the year to do it. We have to find ways to out gun Cinci and KC.

Fair enough, but you know it would be very, very hard to stop watching.  This team certainly isn’t perfect, but it’s been much more enjoyable over the last few years.  That doesn’t mean I and others are satisfied with the final results, but I at least enjoy winning the majority of Sundays.

The Bills are a drug, that’s for certain. But even a drug addict knows when he’s to strung out. I don’t want to OD on copium so I’ll likely check myself into rehab unless I get my ultimate fix.

I'm sorry... My daughter would eat the Girl Scouts Thin Mint cookies for breakfast everyday if she could, but I'm not having it because it's not good for her overall health. Josh is gonna have to learn that pushing it down the field every time he drops back to pass isn't always the best thing to do for the overall outcome of the play.

Josh needs to learn to eat his vegetables or no dessert.

And people all pissy we didn’t sign Orlando Brown and trade for Hopkins 😂

Hey we can’t help it we waste money on rotational Dlinemen that can’t get home. Maybe we need to sign some more average DEs to help give them more rest and maybe they will have enough energy to get it done!

Every guy the Bills don't sign is like an absolute steal and the Bills only sign doodoo heads to massively overpriced deals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Until we win a super bowl, this is a fairly accurate statement.

I think it’s a pretty fair bet that Mahomes has 3 rings before Allen even gets to appear in 1 Super Bowl.

And that’s not due to any fault of Allen’s.

Which is precisely why I’m likely to stop supporting this sorry excuse of a franchise. My ultimatum is Josh Allen’s career. This franchise has to prove they have what it takes to win with an elite QB. Do whatever it takes to bring one home( new coach more talent whatever). If they can’t do that, I’m likely done being a fan. If we do win one or multiple SB I will likely be a fan until death.

not having a roof over the stadium sucks, but it doesn't destroy my enjoyment of the game.  i go the the game, drink a few beers, enjoy watching a sport live, and go home.  i enjoy all of it because that's what it's meant for.  i don't care if someone doesn't have a place to take their kid at the stadium...i'm there for the game.  if it bothers you guess what?  you have an option not to go.  just watch on tv.  i don't know what special kind of experience you need, but i'm there to watch football.

no you won't be.  you'll be back on here hoping for a super bowl the next year.  you'll tell everyone how you don't accept losing, and a few minutes later you'll be ordering your new bills hoodie online.

Nope, this time is absolutely different and I hope this message resonates up to management. If they think they can still push out tickets after wasting an elite QB, they have another thing coming. Whether anyone else stops being a fan that’s up to them, but I’m absolutely done if we don’t win a super bowl during Josh Allen’s career. I likely won’t be able to be a fan of anyone else, and I will probably dedicate my time and money to some other hobby.

again...come on with this stuff.  people here B word, and their excuse is they just don't accept mediocrity!  you have no control over the bills. the only control we have is whether or not we support the product.  so, according to you, you'll continue to watch the bills and accept mediocrity.  the only way to accept it is apparently not to watch...right?  otherwise you're just a guy on a message board letting people know he doesn't accept second place.

ummm...who wants this?  the difference in opinions are great.  that's not what i'm talking about and i think you know that.

My ultimatum is Josh Allen. I’m giving this franchise Josh Allen to prove to me they can win a super bowl. If they waste Josh’s prime and we don’t end of winning a super bowl during his career I’m likely done as a fan. That will be the point I stop accepting it.

come on iron...these guys aren't being paid to lose.  they get paid to play football, and you want the result to be wins.  unfortunately it doesn't always work that way.  that being said...the bills are winning.  they're winning more than we've seen in years.  i know it obviously isn't the same as winning a super bowl, but if this team can stay competitive and get into the playoffs every years, the chance for that super bowl win presents itself, and that's what i hope for during the season.

i don't know why people are treating this team like the teams during the drought.  this is a good team, and we're just going to have to see how this plays out.

It’s just not my nature to accept losing. I can’t do it, I never got excited about 2nd place ribbons or trophies and I don’t get excited losing in the playoffs. I’ve been a fan of this franchise for years and it’s always the same disappointment, just different flavors of disappointment. In some ways I think our current teams are more frustrating than the drought years, at least we knew we sucked so the pain wasn’t as intense. When you know you are a few pieces away, and our management refuses to give Allen more help, it adds to the anger. When you know you are a WR 1B away and a decent Oline from winning it all, this is what happens.
Just trade Oliver and go get Allen/Diggs some help that he deserves and show us the baby!!
