31 teams in the NFL HAVE to lose each year.  Not sure where you're going with this unless you want the league to hand out 31 participation Lombardi trophies.

The point is, if we aren’t willing to win the Lombardi, we might as well go full clown entertainment. Save money in the process.

i'm right there with you.  i'm 45 and i'm not bitter about this at all.  it's a ***** game that we have zero control over it.  do i want to see a super bowl win like everyone else?  of course, but i'm certainly not going to come on here every day  for the sake of venting my anger that just boils away at me. if this team bothered me that much, i'd just move on.  it's a game...for fun and entertainment. that's it.

i think some people attach their self worth to their team/fandom.

The thing that makes me the most mad about it is, people are legitimately getting paid millions of dollars to lose. No accountability. It’s ok to lose as long as you look good doing it. As an owner, how is that acceptable? Paying people to lose? I mean if you are ok with losing, just pay me to do it, I will take less money and I have an equal chance of losing just as much as these fools. Sometimes I think it would be more entertaining to pay some random Joe to catch a pass. I mean if we are going to lose, might as well make it a circus of laughter.

Absolutely. The negativity on here is unbelievable

We're 3rd favorite to win the SB. Not that it means we will but shows that we have an elite roster still.

I swear ppl have PTSD over our only blowout loss last year and forget we were 3 plays from going undefeated

What good is being 3rd favorite? What good does losing the AFC championship game mean? It just means you are 3rd/4th place which means you are the 2nd/3rd loser. If you don’t win the Lombardi, you are a loser. No matter how good someone thinks you are, you lost.

I appreciate what we have, and don't take the past 3-5 year ride for granted at all.

I do know from the empty feeling that comes with thinking of the 90s teams... they need to win one with Josh Allen.

It would literally be a crime if we don’t win a super bowl with Josh Allen. I mean seriously, people need to be arrested. Lol

Some of the most knee-jerk, unmoored proclamations of doom, just because their dopamine initially spiked with the exalting news of a Bills transaction they can tear apart with reflexive, immature takes...and then gradually they are empirically reminded that such cynical campaigns don't always reward the crusader, and mayhaps often offer them up for reactive retribution. Cortisol spikes a bit, serotonin is scarce, dopamine got them into this in the first place, so maybe physiologically they feel exposed? Maybe they lash out with hot takes to keep us occupied. Best defense is an obvious, Freudian offense?

Lol or maybe some of us just want to win a Super Bowl, you know something nearly all the good franchises have done in their history. But nah, let’s get excited for running it back. We know what we need to win a super bowl, and we haven’t gotten anything to bolster those feelings, so people feel concerned again. Rightfully so.

If Josh goes down for any significant period of time season is lost anyway. For team up against the cap having a warm body who fits in the QB room is sufficient. Have to make sacrifices somewhere and backup QB is one I would make with Josh being relatively durable.

Well he won’t be with how dumb Beane is. You have a star QB but refuse to get him high quality linemen and another WR to pair with Diggs.

Not sure McBeane will ever see it this way.

Then he needs to be shown the door. He proved to us that he hasn’t built a team capable of beating Cincinnati. We were getting rolled before Hamlin went down, and proceeded to get ultra rolled in the playoffs. That’s with all the defensive capital that got invested, and we still couldn’t stop them. The only answer now is to go out and get a star WR and draft a bunch of Olinemen.

It's an Entertainment business. I agree that as you said, "they are building a brand to improve their ROI", but it is still entertainment.

Yes, but that entertainment isn’t simply because of “doing it for the great people of Buffalo” . While I’m sure they have plenty of sentimental attachment to the area, and want to see things improve, ultimately them throwing money around isn’t because they care about entertaining fans. They are doing it to improve the brand so they can make money.

Thankfully (despite many ungrateful fans here) we have an Owner willing to pay $$$$$ for our enjoyment

Don’t let anyone fool you, this isn’t some charity service for our enjoyment. This is a business with an expected ROI. While it’s nice to finally have owners who are willing to put in money, they aren’t just doing it for our enjoyment, they are building a brand to improve their ROI.

Yup. The reliance is due to him having a bad OL last year and weapons lacking after Diggs.   It’s not because of the RB position.

Everyone knows where our deficiencies exist. Draft oline and go trade for a star WR to pair with Diggs. Philly did it, Cinci did it via draft. There is a reason why teams like them go deep into the playoffs. This isn’t hard, but apparently Beane doesn’t get it.
