I guess this is what they mean by Josh being lazy? Doing all these commercials, golf, social events. Rather than dedicating more time to getting better on the field?

Does it really matter? Those who love to bash Beane for his drafting (Hi @Ethan in Cleveland) will say the criteria is b.s., and those who value Beane will say the criteria is spot-on.
The bottom line is that Beane is an overall top 5-10 GM in this league (at worst), and anyone who thinks he is holding the Bills back is an idiot.
Let’s just assume that Beane isn’t holding the Bills back, then who is? The coaches? The players? If it’s the players, why? Not enough talent? Or not executing schemes properly? Is that because of a lack of talent or not very good coaching? If it’s the players, then isn’t Beane ultimate responsible for bringing them on this team for McD to coach up?

No, no it is not. Period. He acknowledged where they went wrong. If there was a magic potion that would prevent all future errors, I’d suggest we all get some sent to our doors. NOBODY is perfect, and that certainly includes you. As for the bold, what do you suggest? Again, do you even read what you type?
I never said I was perfect. All I’m doing is trying to hold this organization accountable. At the end of the day not winning Super Bowls has to fall on someone. How many years do Beane and McD get, honest question? Why aren’t we winning Super Bowls? Don’t tell me because football is hard, we no longer employee Jauron.

Do you even read what you write? That is the exact opposite of what happened. He owned it according to the post you quoted, he did not pass the buck.
Can you explain to us how that is passing the buck?
It’s passing the buck in the sense that it’s just empty words. What will they do to ensure it doesn’t happen again? It’s just passing the buck into the wind.
If Beane would have just said, we made a terrible mistake and that it’s inexcusable and to hold himself accountable that would be great. Maybe he will have enough decency to resign and tell the fan base he failed to accomplish what he set out to do if they don’t win the super bowl this year. I respect that more than anything.

No it will not. He is now a veteran who has washed out of one of the weakest OL groups in the NFL (Arizona). Completely unlike Teller who, as Beane admitted in yesterday's PC, they simply did not give enough time to develop.
If Ford does become all pro (doubt it), who is to say he also wasn’t given enough time to develop? Sounds like something GMs say to pass the buck.

This place will implode if he becomes another Teller.

So there is no difference, but there is. Got it...WTF?
Well if you're going to move the criteria for this, the Bengals are bigger losers than the Bills because they are more talented and are still inept.
That analogy is pretty stupid.
I mean having a debate about being biggest loser isn’t really that enjoyable. Maybe someday Bills fans can talk about something else.
If the Bills or the Bengals is the 1 week or 1 month old milk, does it really matter?

Do you know the definition of a double standard?
How is it a double standard? Clearly I said there is no difference between losers, in the sense that they are all losers regardless of place. But that doesn’t mean those losers can’t have varying talent.
Its true that all losers are inept. But it’s also true that there is a difference between 1 week old left out milk and 1 month old left out milk. -

No it doesn't. You very, very clearly said that if you don't win the Super Bowl, you're a loser.
So the Bengals have been losers as well.
This is true, they are losers. But they are better losers than we are.

Let me go back and check the historical record
Closer than we’ve been lately. Maybe this year the Bills will show me something, hope so. Tired of being let down.

Lol only on this forum is winning not equated with well ran operations. If you win and win Super Bowls, you are good. If you don’t, you aren’t.

Wait a minute, Beane said the starter was already on the roster.
You just can't trust this guy
I mean it’s coming from a guy that basically gave Teller away, threw away Ford, and bag of peanuts for Boogie and a fiasco with 3rd round RBs. Just once I’d like to draft an all pro outside of Allen.
