If they actually plan to use him a bunch right away (35-40% of the snaps) and in the role that they said they want him ala Cole Beasley, then yes, I think he could.

Unfortunately, I don't see them giving him that much game time right away.  Knox had 76% of the offensive snaps last year and the other two TE's combined for 31%.  Of course most of Kincaid's snaps are going to come from Morris and Sweeneys snaps but taking another 10% would mean either eating into Knox's snaps or they really are planning on running a lot more 12 personnel.

You are ignoring the fact that Kincaid will see the majority of his snaps in the slot. We already got a glimpse of what the Bills want to do with Kincaid. He was in the slot the majority of his snaps agains the Steelers in the preseason game. Without a doubt he will be in the slot when not in 2 TE sets. I think he will be on the field for the majority of the offensive snaps.

  2. When you watch the all 22 and breakdowns like this are why I get really excited with Kincaid. His ability to get open is just incredible for a TE, where most of the time a TE isn’t getting the best defender put on him. He will absolutely be a nightmare for DCs to plan for. Just watch his film and watch how easily he snaps separation. He does it reliably as well, which means it’s only a matter of time until Allen looks more and more his way as the trust builds.

Think of Cooper Kupp, he’s 6’2” 195 lbs and ran a 4.62 not blazing fast for a WR but he destroys defenses, I kinda see Kincaid in that mold but at TE and 6’4”.

It’s all about separation, which doesn’t always require speed, although that does obviously help. It’s getting in and out of breaks very sharply and finding soft spots and knowing where they are. Kincaid does all of that very well. He’s fluid, and is beyond his years in football IQ.

  4. The water has broken and we are being rushed to the hospital!  The baby is finally here.

The reason why I think this is the year simply comes down to 1 person. Dalton Kincaid. The difference maker. We have lacked that one person on offense to draw attention away from Diggs that can reliably get open underneath and over the middle. He’s going to be a problem to cover. To fast and fluid for most linebackers. He will completely change the offensive dynamic this year where teams just can’t focus on Diggs. Having him play from the slot also helps open up the running game because he will help clear out some space in the box.
This isn’t even including how I think our defense actually got better and healthier.

We finally get our Super Bowl win everyone!

Everyone will know who Dalton Kincaid is after this year is done.

Did he really help win the Super Bowl? He had one catch in that game  where he was absolutely comically wide open that anybody would’ve caught, he had one catch vs the bengals the week prior, and one catch against the jags.

three total catches all playoffs for 28 yards and a completely wide open pitch and catch td

You know what is being worse than completely wide open in the end zone?  Having 0 catches on 0 targets with 0 TDs like Davis. If Davis wants to earn a name for himself, he will help get us to where we want to be.

Kadarius Toney aspires to be Robert Foster, Harry Douglas, Tim Patrick at best. He has done absolutely nothing and will likely end up having a fraction of the career of Marquise Goodwin. If that's your #1 then a fringe journeyman is your #1.

He helped win a Super Bowl, more than anything Davis can say.

After tonight I'm going with Mike Evans.

They could make a trade. I will be the 1st one to say that Toney had one of the worst games I’ve seen in a while. But the dude pops off the screen. He has talent, and once he figures it out, he will put up yards there. I’m pretty sure of it.

Totally reminds me of Shakir. I still have faith in Shakir, I think he will figure it out at some point, and when he does, he will be more reliable than Davis.

Is that including TEs because I'm not sure I believe any of those guys we just saw are going have more yards than Kelce.

No, not including Kelce. Outside of Kelce, Toney for all WRs will lead that team in yards if he stays healthy.

    I'm sorry what lmao

Toney has never done a thing

He averages 2 catches for 15 yards in the 8 or 9 games he's played with the best qb on earth

Toney was a major factor in their Super Bowl win. Just wait, you can bump this post at the end of the season. Toney will be their leader in yards when all said and done.

Everybody here rants about Gabe Davis, but he never had a game as bad as Toney played tonight.

Davis doesn’t have the separation skills that Toney has. But yeah, Toney had a really really bad game, no denying that. Give me Toney vs Davis any week.
