Frankly, I'll be disappointed if Lee Smith is cut. I know others don't like him, but they are mistaken. He is as good as any TE in the NFL at blocking. I mean, if we aren't going to run the ball, then let him go. Otherwise, he can be useful. Would you really rather keep Croom active after 3 years of nothing?
Croom was cut yesterday. Smith is a very good blocker, a lot of stupid penalties last year especially for a 10 year vet. If we’re going to a spread o, less need for smith too

mckenzie was Announced as making the team a couple of hours ago. Big names left to hear about are hodgins, Fromme and Murphy

7 WRs, I’m tellin’ ya...
I agree - daboll loves McKenzie and if they cut hodgins he’d be picked up, probably by the Jets

Singletary and a 3rd for Kamara?

If shaq couldn’t have him as a teammate I’m glad he’s in Miami. Beane replaced him very nicely with guys who won’t wait til there contract years to perform. The reaction that bears monitoring is Tre’s, as he’s a integral part of this team

The text was from a year ago. Eerily similar to josh’s predraft text, terrible timing

Apparently jakes sister texted that the Bills might cut him - texting to the girl/idiot who publicized Jake’s text

Kaye is very well informed on all football matters and has a pleasant voice. Maddy does her homework h Bh it doesn’t have that same quality of voice. Not her fault,
it is what it is

So bring him in and dump him next year ?
Sound like McBeanes ?It actually does. The team finally is at the point where they may lose more players to UFA than sign = comp pick. Clowney would be a nice comp pick

They should give Sal C. More time on the air. I think he’s excellent. Knowledgeable without the air of superiority. I couldn’t take listening to Tasker and Murphy anymore. I never liked the tangents schopp and whatever his name is went off on but actually have liked them lately

Even if his blood alcohol level comes back too high, chances of being suspended are slim. Luckily he had no drugs in the vehicle. He’ll probably get probation from the court, and as a first time offender, nothing from the NFL.

With the stability of Basically 21 of 22 starters back (with Diggs being the new starter), the Bills have a huge advantage over the other 3 teams.
NE: new QBs replacing the GOAT (good luck with that), with a bare WR closet. A few other key losses too.
NYJ: nice finish last year but not any signature wins there really. Brand new Oline and WR corp, good luck working out the kinks with that, remotely. Cornerbacks and D Ends are amongst the worst in football. Looking at their schedule, it’s brutal. Absolute ceiling after 8 games is 3-5 with an argument to be made they could be 0-8. 0-8 wouldn’t be the worst thing for them as it would mean Gase would be fired. He’s horrible but at least he’s as rich as fxck.
Miami: with all their picks they had to get better. I didn’t like a lot of their picks (watch the film on Epenesa destroying their first rd tackle from USC), though they got Tua right, I think. I Like their coach a lot but with all the new bodies, including a lot of free agent signings, it’ll take a year + to start meshing.
-
If you look at the Jets schedule, it’s rough. I see then going 2-6 in their first 8 with a solid argument that they could be 0-8 with a little bad luck.

I think he ends up on the PS. We drafted two players who are as big, if but not bigger, as fast, if not faster and both have better hands and better backgrounds. This + Diggs equals PS to me. Same fate probably for Foster and maybe for McKenzie.

9 referees and none saw the atrocious facemask on 4th and one, twisted his head around.
throw to knox on 2nd and goal was the big chance. It was overthrown and not a receiver in the world could have caught it. Blocking on 3rd and 4th down was horrible

Anyone watching the 6:00 Bills/Dallas game on replay tonight? Watching now and forgot that Haushka missed an extra point, 50 yd FG, and bounced one off the upright at 41 that luckily went in. Makes the Bass pick look all that better.
Yeah but then he went on a hot streak and didn’t miss another kick the rest of the year. I think they put in a claim for McLaughlin after this game but Indy got him due to a priority waiver claim

Some guys get paid and don’t have the internal character to work at their craft. Dareus ended his career with Buffalo as 2nd all time in sacks per game (behind some guy named Bruce smith). He also racked up a ton of tackles. He could have been an all-time great, he now is unsigned. He wasn’t willing to work

Punter and kicker then depth at LB

Wasn't that in a dome?
Try doing that in NewEra
a lot of glass half empty people here. Especially for a 5th rd pick and a late 5th in that -
I doubt they would have taken dugger over Epenesa as Epenesa is higher rated and can be utilized more in our D. Now, what would have been interesting is if Diggs would have lasted to 54. Epenesa or Diggs? Probably still Epenesa

And fumbled when given the chance a couple times.
Trey Adams is making this Roster. Played 17 games in a row after ACL and Back injuries. He wasn't 100%. 6'8" 330lbs 1st round pedigree. Maybe he is inactive but he will be on the 53 man Roster.
I’d guess PS

I'm saying 90% of 4th and 6th rounders are Andre Robert's and Mckendrick caliber players and it is unrealistic to expect them to be the 10%. I understand being a fan and what that means but geesh can we please step outside of the bubble on this one.
90% of drafts aren’t as deep as this one at wr. Top WR can come from any round, Diggs was a 5th rounder, Andre Reed a 4th rounder. Who knows if Gabriel or Hoskins turn out to be difference makers but I think they have a good chance of being better than the Fosters and duke’s of the world
