Frankly, I'll be disappointed if Lee Smith is cut. I know others don't like him, but they are mistaken. He is as good as any TE in the NFL at blocking. I mean, if we aren't going to run the ball, then let him go. Otherwise, he can be useful. Would you really rather keep Croom active after 3 years of nothing?

Croom was cut yesterday. Smith is a very good blocker, a lot of stupid penalties last year especially for a 10 year vet. If we’re going to a spread o, less need for smith too

  2. With the stability of Basically 21 of 22 starters back (with Diggs being the new starter), the Bills have a huge advantage over the other 3 teams.

NE: new QBs replacing the GOAT (good luck with that), with a bare WR closet. A few other key losses too.

NYJ: nice finish last year but not any signature wins there really. Brand new Oline and WR corp, good luck working out the kinks with that, remotely. Cornerbacks and D Ends are amongst the worst in football. Looking at their schedule, it’s brutal. Absolute ceiling after 8 games is 3-5 with an argument to be made they could be 0-8. 0-8 wouldn’t be the worst thing for them as it would mean Gase would be fired. He’s horrible but at least he’s as rich as fxck.

Miami: with all their picks they had to get better. I didn’t like a lot of their picks (watch the film on Epenesa destroying their first rd tackle from USC), though they got Tua right, I think. I Like their coach a lot but with all the new bodies, including a lot of free agent signings, it’ll take a year + to start meshing.

Anyone watching the 6:00 Bills/Dallas game on replay tonight?  Watching now and forgot that Haushka missed an extra point, 50 yd FG, and bounced one off the upright at 41 that luckily went in. Makes the Bass pick look all that better.

Yeah but then he went on a hot streak and didn’t miss another kick the rest of the year. I think they put in a claim for McLaughlin after this game but Indy got him due to a priority waiver claim

I'm saying 90% of 4th and 6th rounders are Andre Robert's and Mckendrick caliber players and it is unrealistic to expect them to be the 10%. I understand being a fan and what that means but geesh can we please step outside of the bubble on this one.

90% of drafts aren’t as deep as this one at wr. Top WR can come from any round, Diggs was a 5th rounder, Andre Reed a 4th rounder. Who knows if Gabriel or Hoskins turn out to be difference makers but I think they have a good chance of being better than the Fosters and duke’s of the world
