    Snow and 30mph wind gusts

that is not the type of weather we should be celebrating. Our offense looks mediocre if our intermediate-long passing game goes away

Light snow, chance of snow 50% with winds 10-15. Not sure where you’re getting 30mph. Snow isn’t bad for a passing offense, WRs know where there going DBs don’t. Never hurt Kelly an co in the playoffs

Agree. Snow hurts us more than the Steelers or Ravens. Lamar’s running and Big Ben’s five yard passing game can go on in a snow storm. Our passing game suffers more.

People - snow IS NOT detrimental to a passing game unless it’s heavy like the 2017 Indy game. Think of all the Jim Kelly playoff games. Footing is not nearly the issue for the WR who knows where he’s going as it is to the DB who’s reacting to the route

I'd rather face the Ravens. I think Jackson is more likely to make mistakes throwing the ball than Tannehill.

Yep great outcome for buffalo. Our d hadLas a lot of trouble playing teams that can pass and run. Baltimore (can’t pass) or Pittsburgh (can’t run) are much better matchups for our D. Titans can do both (although apparently not today) and would have given us fits. Only bad thing is if Pittsburgh wins I think Baltimore has O% chance of beating kc and if Pittsburgh loses, Cleveland has the same chance.

  4. I think/hope that’s a bit high for a RT, who’s not a spring chicken. He took a show me 1.5m contract this year and certainly did show everybody. He was outstanding this year. I’m hoping for closer to $8m per/3 years? Might mean Brown, and his $8m, is a cap casualty.

I’ve said it before but I make him our top priority this offseason.

3 years $33m is my hope.

  5. Love Frank Reich but he absolutley DID NOT coach a great game.

i don’t blame him for going for the td on 4th and 4. It failed and 96 josh yards later the whole momentum changed. The bills never trailed after that. I get it, you don’t beat Buffalo with fgs but his chance failed

he punted from the Bills 42 on 4th and 5 after trying to draw buffalo off. That was a wussy thing to do

going for 2 in the 4th made no analytical sense.

in the last drive of the game Indy had 2:30 left from their own 15. They wasted a lot of time running the ball and even huddling which caused them to not even have a fg chance. Very poor time managment

he wasted a challenge and a timeout in the 3rd on a play that obviously was called correctly and wouldn’t be overturned. Thinking he may have been able to use that timeout in the last part of the game.

his overall scheme of keeping the bills offense off the field and win the time of possession battle was sound but he made a ton of in game mistakes that cost Indy badly.

Whats scary is the NFL Officiating twitter is doubling down on the call sayingvit was inconclusive when there is 100% evidence he wasnt down.

Al riverton, head of review for the NFL is an incompetent dbag. They handed the job to him, taking it away from an official will decades of officiating experience. Totally over his head

He did a great job keeping everybody's head in the game when things were going sideways.

He mixed up his calls, made the right rotations and was successful having people in position to defend what the Colts wanted to do.

And he made sure everybody on the field was maintaining situational awareness relative to the clock down/distance and the game situation.

Just really professional work all around from a guy who catches way more flack than he deserves.

Yep that last drive worked out but 472 yards allowed is concerning. Our secondary had no answer most of the time and we couldn’t get off the field on 3rd down.

but a win is a win

I’m 40 years old and been a Bills fan since I was 9 years old living in Westchester, NY(Yonkers)which is a good 6 hours from Buffalo and 10 minutes from Manhattan. I used to be a season ticket holder for a few years, but didn’t renew after that Cowboys Monday Night loss. I have 2 sons ages 11 and 8 who are diehard into football.  They both play youth tackle and I’ve coached my oldest flag football team the past 2 seasons. I’ve tried my hardest to convert both kids into Bills fans(lol) but was unsuccessful with my oldest who roots for the Giants, but my youngest is a diehard Bills fan. Our emotions ran crazy during this game from frustrated, happy, paranoid to joyful. The best feeling was how we hugged when that hail Mary attempt was knocked down.......wouldn’t trade that for anything!

Agreed about everything- a victory beer with my 19 year old and a victory milkshake with my 17 year old so was awesome!!  Btw, if it takes you over 6 hours to get to buffalo you need to drive faster -ha!! I make it via rt17 from Redding ct in under 6

  9. Yep he threw for 325 yards and ran for 50 more in like 20 minutes. Not sure what time possession numbers were but I think we were in the low 20s. Dabolls idea that running and qb sweeps into the part of Indy D That is their strength was mind numbing. We survived and we have a superstar qb and wr. If we play Pittsburgh next week our d matches up better with them as they have no running game. Of course their D is better than indys

Diggs was good not great.. they probably dont win without him either...

Beasley played hurt...so I can cut him some slack...

Davis was good in the first half

Brown was disappointing.. does he want to be back next year?

128 yards and a td is only decent? Wow, our standards have changed? I’d say TBass had a great game as did Davis, the oline pass blocking and Hyde. Tauron Johnson played pretty well too

Ahh - I hope they can keep Dane Jackson and Williams on the active roster.  i hate to lose either to another team, if teams can still pluck players

Maybe with the way McKenzie plays/played we realize we don't really need Stills?  Not overreacting to McKenzie's game today, the guy just makes plays when he's in the game.  With Brown seemingly healthy, I don't see the need??

Just looking at the long term forecast and it's supposed to be in the 20's with a low chance of precipitation.  Not sure about the wind though.  Glad we're playing a dome team.

Yep - read somewhere that INDY played in like 11 domes this year, 4 warm weather outdoor games and Pittsburgh.  I may be oof by one, but it's close.  Give me 20 and no wind (I don't care about light snow) and we're golden

I can't believe the Saturday primetime game is Tampa Bay vs. either WFT or NYG. I know it's Brady and that's the reason but still. Either a 6-10 or 7-9 team is about to HOST a primetime playoff game. I think their current system is broken.

Not sure why anyone is complaining about 1pm Saturday - common sense people.

    1. We were at home and finished at 2:30 today (at least the offense did).

    2. Indy finished at 7pm IN JAX, has to travel home now and travel to BUF Firday- that's not much time to prepare

    3. Isn't there less chance of weather and cold at 1pm than primetime?  Bad weather can be the great neutralizer

    4. If we win, we get a ton of time to prepare for Pittsburgh (hopefully), who plays Sunday night and will have a shorter time to prepare for us. Cleveland almost lost to Rudolph today and had a terrible track record in PIT.  CLE will be happy to just be there.

Plus - I'm sure PIT in Buffalo is a better matchup for BUF than BAL or TEN is for KC.

Yeah I don't see Cleveland winning in Pittsburgh with Ben. They nearly lost today in a meaningless game

Yep with Mason Rudolph at QB and a couple of other key players sitting.

    Best case scenario:

    BUF beats Indy

    Pit Beats Cle

Bal beats TEN (I think BAL may have the better chance to beat  KC? But I can be argued from this)

    Buf beats PIT

    Bal beats kc

    Buf beats Bal

Buf beat Was - ha!!  Actually TB

I live in Indianapolis now, so have "had to" watch nearly all of their games this year.   Rivers is definitely at or near the end of his career, and his arm won't scare anybody.   BUT ... he is smart, knows where to go with the football, and their O-line does an excellent job protecting him.   Of biggest concern is the Colts' running game, with Taylor and Hines.   That sets up everything they do on offense.   The Bills will need to "sell out" to stop the run, and take their chances with Rivers' passing.   If they can jump out to a quick lead, and force Indy to rely on Phillips' arm, they should be fine.   On the other side of the ball, their defense is stout against the run, but their secondary has been "shaky" at times, especially against teams with 2 or more good receivers.  LB Darius Leonard, the "heart and soul" of their D, left the game today with some sort of injury.   Haven't heard any sort of injury report on him yet.

very nice info - thanks.  Keep us informed about Leonard

  15. Belichick tended to play his starters at least through half time, even when they had everything wrapped up. If the game meant something he played them the whole game. Granted, it was sometimes playing for a bye. Worked out pretty well for the patriots.

mcbeane has a plan. I’m sure they’re monitoring the Pittsburgh game. If Cleveland looks like they’re going to win it could change things in buffalo. You don’t want to sit players, lose, have Pittsburgh win and end up playing the ravens in rd1

if you have the chance to knock out a divisional foe from the playoffs, you do it
