I don't see Dorsey getting a head coach offer after this season. He's young, inexperienced, and really hasn't proven himself. Why do people think he's going to get offers?
-
I think it might be time to consider coaching changes in Buffalo. Not mid season but after this year especially if the Bills under perform. Coach McD is good but sometimes a change is needed. Same goes with Fraizer. The Bills seem to be unable to get over the hump. I'm thinking someone like Sean Payton. I know it's a premature discussion.

He was pretty damn good on that game winning drive in Arrowhead. I don't think Allen is hurt. A hurt QB isn't running like that and challenging tackles. I think he's had a bad game and a half. We've seen this before. Almost all QBs have a couple of off games throughout the season. I'm confident he will bounce back. What's more concerning is the lack of weapons besides Diggs. Who is going to step up? Davis is wildly inconsistent, McKenzie isn't a starter, Shakir doesn't play, Kumerow stinks, Knox is not being used as a passing option, Motor is ok but not a difference maker or a threat a defense game plans around, Cook is still developing, etc...I think it's fools gold to think Hines is going to be a difference maker. The guy is an upgrade but he's a career back up for a reason. The Colts didn't like an elite difference maker walk for free. The Bills need to get their butts in gear or the Dolphins will win the division. Yes I said it. If Tua stays healthy they are a legitimate threat. The gap is very close right now. Earlier I was laughing at Dolphins fans who were saying they are going to win the division. Right now, it's not so outlandish.

Crowder isn't a differrence maker. There are tons of Crowders in the league. Bills need a Beasley type receiver. Right now, the Bills slot guys have been under used and have under preformed. Just has no reliable safety valve to go to on crucial 3rd down plays. Diggs is the only one but the Bills need more weapons. Thus, Allen locks onto Diggs and forces the ball into him. Mentioned with success but as you play tougher defenses this isn't sustainable. The Bills offense is out of sorts and becoming too predictable. Changes and adjustments need to be made swiftly. Can The core issues be fixed or modified for success? The core issues for me is the Oline and wide receivers. Can the Oline open up holes in the run game? Can the Bills and Allen make teams pay for blitzing Allen? Can they protect him? What wide receivers are going to step up? How long does Allen play like Shi???

I mean you can compare teams right now too. I'm thinking the Dolphins as of today are the better team. Never thought I'd be saying that. Tua is playing out of his mind in that system and Hill and Waddle are virtually unstoppable. Mosert and Wilson are not bad either. The young team is rolling with confidence. Maybe this "Tua thing" is for real. Hard not to be concerned as a Bills fan. The Jets and the Pats are another story. Both QBs just won't get it done. Not too concerned about their long term success. -

Agree. Add on they played the Jets offense. Right now, Wilson is a bottom tier QB and they lost their best weapon in Hall. They literally got beat by a pretty poor offensive team by all standards. However, make no mistake about it the Bills offense contributed to the loss as well as special teams and coaching. This was a total team loss from top to bottom. We will have to see how the team responds you going forward. The division is a dogfight now as well as the number one seed. -

It is starting to look like the Bills talent might not be as good as many of us thought. Allen is human, Davis is very inconsistent, McKenzie is not a starter, Motor is not a game changer, Bills still can't or won't consistently run the ball, Cook isn't the missing piece or a dangerous added weapon, and the Oline is average. Saffold sucks. On defense, the Bills scheme is being exposed, they are back to having major issues stopping the run, injuries have taken its toll, the secondary with Elam, Bedford, and Johnson are not elite, losing Hyde is a huge huge blow, and the Bills pass rush is being negated by quick passes. Coaching has under preformed in many areas. Game plans have been suspect, in game and halftime adjustments seem non existent, and frankly I'm losing some passion for Fraizer and McDermott. The good is the Bills are still 6-2. I think Allen will turn it around. Tre and Poyer returning will help. Hopefully, Shakir gets to play more and Hines makes a bigger impact on the offense. No more injuries. -

Let me ask you this. Are you concerned at all about the way the Bills are playing? Comments on the Bills run D? Comments on the Bills Oline? Bills run game? Allen's play and turnovers? Lack of others on offense besides Diggs? Coaching game plan and game time adjustments? Bills 0-2 in the division? Bills injury concerns? Let's hear your opinion instead of a generalized bashing of people overreacting. For the most part it's not ok to critique the team. It's seen as a big turn off and you will be up against great resistance. Negative critiques will vastly be responded with negative sentiments here. It's the way it goes here. Trust me I know from experience. -

I'm not jumping in the bandwagon. However, you have to give the guy his dues. He is playing lights out. -
Josh Allen's waning confidence and mental yips

This is no consolation. I could careless about this debate right now. Calling someone I think you meant what you said. It's all good though. -

That's ridiculous! Answer the question don't cop out. Did you hear what Allen said? -
I mean the clearest example of the Bills run D weakness and poor defense was in full effect. I mean the Bills had the Jets pinned on their own 4 yard line in the 4th quarter. They ran the ball down the Bills' throats on 7 or more consecutive runs. Didn't everyone know they were going to run? The team didn't deserve to win after that. That was inexcusable. You make Wilson beat you. Pathetic is the word that comes to mind.

I don't really understand this logic. How have the Bills coaching staff limited Allen? How have they not let him be Josh? He was every bit Josh Allen just a terrible version today. I don't think the coaches had a leash on him. -

Simple question. How do you think Allen had played in the second half the GB game and today's game? Would like to get your input. -
Let me clarify it for you. Teams like Tenn with Henry weren't able to expose the Bills run D. It looked as though after several games the Bills run D was a strength and one of the best in the league. With that said, the Green Bay Packers gashed the Bills run D. They exposed the weaknesses in the Bills run D. The Jets clearly watched film and equally dominated the Bills run D. With a stellar runnong back named Carter, Robinson, Wilson, etc...To the tune of 175 yards or so. Seven straight runs from their 4 yard line in the 4th quarter with the game on the line. It wasn't about about nickel base. It's about how the Bills couldn't stop obvious runs in critical moments. The Packers shed light on the Bills run D.

This won't be a popular take. I do agree parts of what you said. However, I don't think the picture you painted is entirely accurate. Sounds like you are in panic mode and giving up on the team. I just can't go there. Yes, I am concerned about the team. Who wouldn't be after the way they have recently played? It is a long season and I think the Bills and Allen will get things right. My confidence in hoisting the Lombardi trophy is dwindling. Right now, the Bills have to concentrate on wining their division, making adjustments on many levels. The O and D lines are really concerning. Hopefully, Poyer gets healthy, Tre cones back strong, the coaches perform, and Allen gets back to being elite. -

"Shake it off?" Is it that easy to fix? -
I think you are taking things out of context. Of course teams play to win and belief they can if they execute and the other team (if a lot better) plays poorly. I think that dominate teams have a psychological effects on less talented teams. I don't think you can under estimate the mindset of a player. It's often why good teams win close games and vice versa. Take today's game as an example. Couldn't you feel that the young Jets started to believe they could and would win? How confident were you that Allen would led the team to a game winning TD? In summary, the Bills psychological edge has been diminished greatly. Maybe I'm wrong but that's how I feel.

What sounds the alarm bells even more is the defense. They look to be very bad at stopping the run which was a clear strength early on. Also, teams are throwing the ball quickly and negating the Bills pass rush. The Bills defense is built to keep plays in front of them. The young secondary is getting exposed on short quick routes whether it's slants, screens, or quick outs. The Bills offense is out of sync. Thus far, Diggs is the only reliable offensive player on the team. The oline is just not that good. Thus far, teams are pressuring Allen and he's making mistakes. Frankly. Allen is making mistakes even when the pocket is clean. His vision and mechanics are way off now. Allen is the least of my worries. I think he will bounce back. However, the team needs to make adjustments on various levels and execute.
