I feel like it’s kind of the opposite where no afc team thinks they’re going very far lol outside of maybe Baltimore im sure no one wants to see the bills in the playoffs though especially the dolphins. It was lookin like they could skate by even if they lost to us until they blew that titans game now the fans seem like they’re startin to panic a bit lol

Oooh like way back when they were 6-3 or now? Haha it was probably lower than people expected even back then. When your team is a favorite every week but only a small favorite the odds of going on a big winning streak are still very low

Cincy has a worse conference record and in a three way tie the head to head may not apply pit,Houston, and some others will likely have a worse conference record than us. The Denver game tonight is a lot bigger than cincy imo ‘they have a chance’ at 10-7 is kind of underselling it…it is very very likely the bills get in at 10-7 I’d argue 1-2 teams breaking away could be a good thing because all these teams play eachother. Browns losing to the bears is free help though no question but if for example the browns get hot and win out, they’re knocking the Texans and bengals back a game and only taking up one playoff spot.

The bengals winning dropped us by 2% compared to our probability entering this week. Steelers colts is essentially dead even on how it effects us broncos is a bigger one cuz there’s probably a decent chance there’s a 3 way tie situation and if we three way tie with the bengals and broncos head to head would eliminate us but otherwise it probably won’t factor in

Our defensive roster was absolute doodoo in between the jags game and adding Douglas/joseph. Pretty big factor in why we gave up 29 to NE. I’m not sayin I personally agree but I could at least understand givin him one more chance if we finish with a winning record and miss the playoffs Cleveland lost a pretty bad starting qb but their defense is playing really well. pit lost a pretty bad starting qb and replaced him with a slightly worse qb but they’re still out hear blocking punts and making plays on defense

Its such a minuscule difference in playoff odds haha I’m not even sure It’s not really a tush push if your center isn’t false starting imo lol. You can’t do to Philly what cincy did to min today because Kelce is already diving at your legs with full momentum since he’s allowed to rock back and forth before snapping the ball as much as a bonehead as Jordan Phillips is normally I’m glad he jumped the snap in the eagles game cuz he timed it perfectly based on kelce’s false start move

Three way ties could change things too if not all three teams played each other h2h and beat/lost to the other two keep in mind. Cincy has a worse conference record than us so if there’s a three way tie with cincy and anybody but Denver h2h is likely out the window. Assuming wins over the chargers and pats our conf record is actually pretty respectable Good shot of being even with a lot of these other teams we didn’t play if we beat Miami,lac, and ne we’re 7-5 in the conference which could hold up in a three way tie/two team tie of a team we didn’t play situation lot of doom and gloom on here but we are very very likely to get in at 10-7 assuming the one loss is against Dallas

That’s a ton of time when you’re a team at 7 wins…1-2 losses and you’re done

They’re horrible lol I really think we’re getting overly worried about bad teams. This is a quantity over quality situation in the playoff hunt right now and most of these teams are gonna fall off

The narrative changed when Miami blew that game to Tennessee…probably don’t even need a jets upset even if we lose to Dallas. I just can’t see Miami beating Dallas or Baltimore without Connor Williams…they hardly ever beat playoff caliber teams even at full strength most likely scenario is us playing them for the division week 18 with us getting in at 10-7 over them at 10-7 imo

Agreed…People have the wrong mindset on this it seems like. In a normal year there’s usually 1-2 wildcard teams way out in front and 1-2 spots that a bunch of teams are competing for and that’s how people are lookin at this still it seems like. but this year, all three spots are pretty much in play for anybody…the browns winning doesn’t hurt too bad because if they pull ahead there’s still two spots open One wildcard team getting hot and pulling away at this point is honestly a good thing and realistically it seems like it’s gonna be the browns

The bengals winning some of those games could help though lol there’s three wildcard spots in play and the afc south has to have a winner…so 4 spots on the line really. Maybe the bengals stay hot get wildcard 1 and knock the browns and Steelers back a game. Still leaves 2 wildcard spots and we catch up a game on those two teams it changed our playoff odds a couple percent probably seems like people have the mindset that it’s a bunch of teams fighting for one playoff spot but it’s a bunch of teams fighting for 3 or 4 depending on how you look at it.

Wouldn’t even call it a self destruct…Miami going 1-2 with a win over the jets is the most likely scenario. Bills going 2-1 with a loss to the cowboys is the most likely scenario week 18 is most likely for the division bills beat Miami week 18 to get in at 10-7 is very possible

The bengals have got Steelers browns chiefs to go still too I don’t think there’s any guarantee they make the playoffs either
