    When was this?

GB was doing what worked since their receivers are their weak link.  Frazier was playing like we were playing the Curt Warner Rams.

When you're doing "what worked" and that was running the ball for 8 minutes down by 17 to have a turnover on downs then guess what?

    It wasn't working.

  2. If you think the Bills' run defense was a problem last night, then you've been drinking too much of the Collinsworth Kool Aid.  That was not a winning formula for the Packers and they proved it.

You want to take 7-8 minutes to run down the field and then not convert on a 4th, or end up kicking a FG?  Go right ahead.  It was a joke of a strategy and should be treated as such.

  3. The problem (if you really want to see it that way) with being the best team in the NFL is that everyone is going to make you pay a premium for what they got. I'm not sure Beane is willing to buy high, even in a window like this.  Whether or not he should is probably debatable. If the Bills could have landed Von Miller in a trade last year I have a feeling we might be the reigning super bowl champs instead of LA.  I definitely wouldn't mind the acquisition of another skill player either.

Or go sign OBJ if he's healthy enough to play. Low risk, huge reward.

How do you know "the Bills failed to get him the support network he needed"?

During his tenure the Bills did not have the culture or support staff for young players that they do now.  The coaching staff was not as detail oriented about player development, recovery, and physical load management.

They may have reached out, but they weren't as buttoned up as they are now with player development.

I don't want to make it sound like his career trajectory was the sole fault of the Bills either, ultimately it was up to him.

Depth at oline is more important than a guy coming off a bad ACL injury for a few weeks. Protecting Allen is that important.

I'd argue that the Bills already have better depth at O-Line than the majority of the league, just not the top end talent, but that's really besides the point that I already made.  Teams don't trade O-Lineman midseason, so your idea of "well just get an O-Lineman" is a non-starter.

The guys on the street aren't better than what we already have at O-Line depth.  If they were, teams wouldn't be picking JAGs like Luke Tenuta off the practice squad.

I'd rather sign oline. How effective is someone coming off an ACL injury going to be?

Find one who is on the trading block who would be an upgrade from what we have.

Hint: It doesn't exist.  You might as well say you want them to sign a unicorn.

I was low-key hoping Antonio Gibson might be odd man out in Washington after Robinson recovered from his walking-around-DC injury, but it looks like it's McKissic who is being phased out (good call staying put, lol).

I wonder if Beane would be able to swallow his bile to offer a 6 or 7 for Gibson. Signed through 2023 and could carry the mail should Singletary walk, albeit with long speed. Feels like he's more of a feature option than Duke, where McKissic is a mostly a better version of Duke.

Have not vetted for culture fit or anything, just wond'ring aloud.

I think Gibson would be a good fit as well.
