I wonder if it's bad game planning from the coaches to not realize that the strength is their run D. Looks like pats also sport a a top run D, it might be another one of those games if they don't game plan better -

I'd say it's perfectly fine, defenders are trying to sneak in a hit to get into Josh's head, Josh on the other hand is getting in their head saying if you sneak him then you're getting a penalty
