Josh may really like Dorsey, but Daboll was his svengali.

If Oliver doesn't get to the QB or pressure, especially with Jones to open him up, then he's just an undersized tackle.

Until McD completely upgrades the OL once & for all (6 yrs), you will continue to see Josh pressured or running for his life.
Surprised Pegula doesn't step in and tell Beane/McDermott/Dorsey that he will not have his QB shortening his career to cover for offensive inadequacies.
-
I'd tell Dorsey he's Josh's coach, not his buddy. No longer will the offense be an ad hoc downfield passing offense only. Get control. Use your personnel. Then I'd apologize for not giving him a credible OL.

- Bills need their draft picks, and they need them to hit so they can have starters on rookie contracts. Fantasy/reckless to trade away high draft picks for expensive free agents you can't afford. Bills need to draft a rookie OL and learn how to play him. Other teams do.
- Bills effectively need at least two interior OL given that Morse is a high concussion risk. Center too important to just have a backup that can only shotgun snap it. They could replace both guards and center in an attempt to improve and get younger and I'd totally be OK with that.
- Get better guards and your tackles look better. Give Brown a full summer to heal and recover and I think he's better next year.
- Perhaps most importantly, figure out what your offense and blocking scheme are and what players you need to execute them. I don't feel OL coach, OC, and head coach had that together. Do we go 90's dolphins and look for pass blocking only? Do we want at least one side of the line to be capable gap blocking guys who can move DTs when needed? Why was Teller thought so little of and who assessed him as low value?

They definitely need a WR2.
Gabe is good as your 3rd/4th option, but he’s not a 2.
Agree. Had Diggs gone down for a couple games, this would be more obvious.

Poyer needs that money to pay for his wife's butt implants
She will goad him into playing more and taking the most money possible. Great eagerness on her part to point out he'll be a free agent. Dude deserves a few months off of nothing but healing and relaxation.

I don't want McDermott fired. What I want to see is some demonstration of a learning curve where he evolves his thinking and decision making based on experience and learning from similar situations. Not a HC that keeps making blinders over and over along with being unaware or unwilling to see it and become a better decision maker.
Fair point

Diggs is a WR. Kinda goes with the position. At least he's not indifferent.

$30M in cap for Dawkins Morse and Bates is absolutely brutal.
They all will be (and should be) back as starters next year. Mostly because we have to replace Saffold and Brown and can't go replacing our entire line. But all three are also extremely average.
We need 5 new lineman by 2024.
Morse is so concussion ridden I wouldn't count on him next season either. Can't have 2-3 games where you have a backup you don't trust to snap the ball to QB under center. Love Morse, but his time is near IMO.

Daquan loss will be felt, especially if Phillips can not do much with the shoulder.
Yea. Jones is my favorite defensive player. Quiet difference maker.

Maybe the most we can expect is for Jax to play a physical game and beat up KC a bit.

When the Bills need 8, Josh goes for 30. It's who they are.

I don't sit in the hate zone, but Brady continues to be about Brady so he will continue to be an annoyance until he fully goes away.

3) Josh Allen extends plays and waits for routes to develop. YAC usually comes from quick hitters.
Kelly to Reed. Quick slant. Many times.

How would Dawkins look next to a better guard? I just don't see us messing with a guy that's not a problem.
Agree on the absolute need to address the OL. I can see the 1st round going to a WR with the OL after that. 1st round reserved for certain positions other than guard (QB, WR, Rush End, Corner). That puts a WR on a rookie contract that will expire when Diggs is probably done.
Appreciate your research into the draft class.

A lot of it is injury related…like everything else this year lol. It’s pretty normal to be down an offensive linemen but since we were down boettger and bates too, van roten gets forced to play center when Mitch morse gets hurt. We were doing a great job against miamis front 7 before morse went down…it felt like josh had all day to throw the whole first half
couple that with the fact that there just aren’t many good offensive linemen coming out of college anymore.

He is? I guess I missed it. He's generally been well spoken. He just succumbed to getting involved in an argument on the internet which has made many well spoken people look dumb regardless of their position.
Agree. Don't gaslight us on the Bease.

For Josh Allen they only list one, and it's not one I even see being used anywhere: "General"
I see people use others like The Unicorn, JA17, and even The Winter Soldier has been thrown around a few times. -

I watch the interviews and I'm forced to see these players as people. He conducts himself like a pro. He could have been a troublemaker given his treatment by Miami, but he's not taken the bait. Good on him.
Now never do I wish him success against the Bills.

Give McKenzie one! Why not? Made some plays in this game.
Signing Beasley seemed to bring out McKenzie's best. Hoping there is a little professional competition in the WR room.
Mitch Morse, when to move on

I'd just plan for Morse to be out next year then build accordingly.
