Definitely better WRs if you directly compare to Wyoming, but relative to the competition they were playing, Allen's WRs his sophomore year > Herbert's WRs. Allen's WRs his last year were an absolute embarrassment though, whereas Herbert's were simply bad.
The major difference is that Oregon had one of the best OLines in the country while Allen was running for his life every play.
Definitely agree with you here. Allen will be 20 times a better QB than Herbert. Herbert isn’t threatening in the slightest. But I’m still sticking to my guns that Tua is going to Miami minus the injury concern and Herbert is going to LA

Not seeing it with Herbert. I know there’s injury concerns with Tua, but I see a young Marino when I see Tua. Quick release, accurate, prolific. I hope Miami takes Herbert.
I think this is a smokescreen I bet money Miami takes Tua and Herbert goes to LA

Herbert doesn't have nearly the athleticism that Allen has, but he's more precise than Allen was, in college. That's at least what I've seen on tape, and heard from scouts.
Well Josh Allen came from a unknown school in Wyoming while Herbert is from Oregon playing in the PAC 12. Herbert has better WR’s to work with than Allen did

That’s still not enough to get the job done lol. Saying you have a better version of Andy Dalton isn’t all that inspiring lol

There’s nothing about Herberts game that’s inspiring or game changing lol. He’s a poor mans Ryan Tannehill at best, I understand that he went through 3 different OC’s during his time in Oregon but that in some ways should also be a red flag

I think they still might but none of those guys will get signed before the draft. I'd love some cheap Lamar Miller action.
Lamar is coming off of a torn ACL. There’s a reason Houston let him go and decided they would rather have David Johnson over him lol

Why anyone would pay Stephen A. $8 million is beyond me. I get the most enjoyment from him by turning off the sound and watching the facial expressions and giatrics.
How first take is still on the air is beyond me. Worst show on ESPN. Then again ESPN is a huge joke itself. A Completely biased Sports news station

It is the perfect time to draft a mid round QB to groom as a backup.
I agree, give Barkley some competition.

i don’t know too much about him since I don’t follow FIU. USC and Miami Hurricane fan for life lol

Well so much for the idea of him coming here lol

I mean, it's still a free country, for now... No?
Yes it’s still a free county by freedom of choice, but throwing a party for 30 during this virus is not the brightest of choices to make

I have hated Dan Fouts since he led the Chargers to a comeback win against the Bills in the 1980 playoffs. He was overrated as a QB. The only reason he was so good is because he always had talented WR's, TE's, and RB's around him (and a good DL).
Agreed, he’s definitely the most overrated QB I’ve ever seen. Every time he was broadcasting a Bills or Dolphins game he was extremely biased against both teams. And it felt like he had an agenda, especially when it came to the Bills. Had to mute the tv when he was on the booth. Both him and Gannon, I can’t stand either one of them

Tyrod is starting this season presumably, I’d much rather go into a game with Famous than that bum under center.
Well I think the chargers are looking at that a lot differently. Also I’d bet they’d sign cam over Winston

Sure he had a crazy year last season, but he has 20k yards and 121 TDs in 70 starts. In the NFL, that's a starting QB easily.
Minus those stats, he’s failed to get his team to the playoffs for 4 years in a row. Might now be a fair comparison but to me he’s Fitzpatrick with a stronger arm. He can easily be a career back up but I don’t see it for him as a starter.
but that’s just my opinion
-
I guess in some ways David has a point. I don’t think any NFL team goes after him to be honest, hasn’t really shown that’s he’s capable of being a starting QB in the NFL, especially after last year being a disaster for him

i loved his reaction as a Texans fan. That was like ? percent on the money lol

O’Brien? He’s an idiot, capable of anything. I’m not even sure what I’d want? Mercilus?
He’d probably give us JJ Watt for a lifetime supply of Buffalo Wings. And probably would throw in the rest of their draft picks along with it ?

I figured this was going to happen, I tried watching it a couple times and I just couldn’t get into it. It’s WWF in football lol. Half the ***** like the WWF felt scripted. All the QBs they had were garbage. I just didn’t see how McMahon or anyone else in that department thought that this could compete with the NFL

statistically these two are very similar. Who has the more value... Bills gave up a lot for diggs, Texans only a second rounder for cooks. I like Diggs better as a player, but knowing a 2nd rounder would've got Cooks, i'd rather the 2nd for Cooks and see what the 1st rounder would land the Bills.
So you’re telling me that you’d rather take a chance on a player that’s been traded multiple times Due to inconsistency and major injury problems Over Diggs?? This is one of the silliest post I’ve ever read. Diggs is a true number 1 WR and a proven veteran. Cooks is pretty much a poor mans John Brown

No. They’re not. Diggs is definitely better. And the bills did not overpay. A ***** gm giving away a top 5 WR for nothing, and a concussion prone WR on his 4th team in like 6 years getting dealt for cheap does not prove that the bills overpaid for a very very good WR.How Bill o Brien still has a job is beyond me. I would’ve fired him not only for trading away Hopkins for David Johnson but for this move as well. Cooks sucks, Rams completely overpaid for him only to get mediocre production out of him and now O Brien is taking on Cooks bloated contract lol

"BY FAR" is a stretch. Look at their stats, they are nearly identical... I agree I like Diggs better, but the Bills definitely over paid.
I strongly disagree. We finally got Josh a true number 1 WR and a proven veteran number 1 at that. I’m glad Beane didn’t take a chance in the draft. A lot of WR’s coming out In this draft that don’t look ready.

Teams that need a Qb cant wait a year for 1. If they did they would pass and pick Lawerence or Feilds next year.
Those guys are definitely better prospects than Tua and herbert
Justin Herbert is being predicted to Miami over Tua

He screams career back up to me. Out of all the footage and highlight clips I’ve watched from him, that’s what’s it’s boiled down to for me. He a back up QB and not a starter. Anyone who drafts him is going to be looking for a new QB next years free agency or draft
