A team that is comfortable with his ankle being healed and doesn't want to make a long term commitment.

At some point we have to commit to acquiring top end WR talent.  Teams over pay for WR's all the time because they're so difficult to get.  Green will have a large market for his services (if he's not franchised) and it's not going to be for under $10 mil a year.

At his age now and his injuries I wouldn’t pay him anymore than 10-15 mil tops. He’s not worth more than that now at his age

  2. Well so much for getting him here to Buffalo lol. Honestly though we need to get younger and faster  at that position, Green is getting old and his age is showing by the number of injuries he’s already sustained. AJ green 3-4 years ago I would’ve said for sure go get him. I’d hate for us to get him only to end up being disappointed.

    Not a chance.

I read an article saying that we might target Hurts if he falls to us in the 2nd or 3rd round.

    Bridgewater.

I’ll say this much if Brady does leave then New England is going to take a huge step backwards lol. Bridge water isn’t going to make much of a difference even if he does sign with them. Hell Minnesota didn’t even think he was good enough to keep. Bridgewater is a great back up, probably one of the best in the league but he is not a starter. And any team that signs him to be there starter for 16 games all I have to say is good luck

I don't envision the Bills signing a "big bucks" guy like Clowney or, if he somehow became available, Ngakoue.

Instead, I see guys like Mario Addison and Robert Quinn as much more likely options. Quinn had a career resurgence last year with 11.5 sacks. Whatever it was about the scheme switch from Miami to Dallas, it worked. He's 29 years old, which may be "old", but it's not OLD old.

I also think that the Bills might take a swing at Dante Fowler or Vic Beasley -- both supremely physically talented former 1st rounders who haven't lived up to expectations. Beane seems to like to take chances on really athletic, former high picks, banking on the notion that the Bills coaches and system can get more production out of them. Fowler, like Quinn, had 11.5 sacks last year. Vic Beasley was no slouch, with 8 sacks last year, which would have led all Bills defenders. His career high year saw him tally 15.5 sacks.

Another big question, of course, is whether or not they re-sign Shaq Lawson.

In any case, I don't see the Bills getting anyone young or dynamic enough in free agency to "solve" the position, so they'll need to draft a youngster or two either this season or next. If they re-sign Lawson, it probably buys them a year, and then can more meaningfully address the edge position with youth next offseason.

When all is said and done, my prediction for the Bills 4-deep depth chart next season is something like Hughes, Lawson, Addison, draftee.

I agree with Robert Quinn he had a good year last year even though they didn’t make the playoffs

Like I said, I think whatever that Peterdude guy has, it's like Catnip for Coaches.

LOL, I mean he’s not even CFL or XFL or even Arena league level good ??. Idk what McD saw in this kid to make him draft him. Not that I liked Tyrod but that was one of the dumbest decisions to bench him in favor of peterman against the chargers

  6. Started with Tampa Bay, But I was born and raised my first 5 years in Buffalo before moving to LA. I had the privilege of watching the Levy/Kelly Teams and became a huge fan. Became more of a fan when Flutie came to town and so on, stopped being a Tampa fan cause they were so horrible but I loved their original orange creamsicle uniforms with the pirate on the helmet

Haha. I think I would rather draft a guy if I’m Indy. I don’t think they are that close and let’s face it Phil has never won anything and rapidly declining.

Honestly he’s been declining for years. I saw rivers last year and while he didn’t get the protection he needed from his o line, he made a lot of dumb decisions with the football and was throwing out of desperation most of the year. All his passes were thrown up for grabs and was hoping for the best. Threw 22 INTS last year with a talented WR corps. He doesn’t have an arm anymore

He's a solid backup QB with elite arm strength and elite scrambling ability. If he can become much better somehow, we'll be fine. Otherwise Beane and/or McDermott will be following him out the door. I've never seen a QB with his level of accuracy turn it around in all the years of the AFL and NFL, but I hope he will be the first.

We know he needs better weapons, but IMO what he needs most is a much better OL. Last year's OL was much improved, but they still need another big leap.

I don’t think McD or Beane will be fired if Allen doesn’t pan out. Pegula wants continuity, I’m sure he would give Beane one last shot at getting a QB. Not a fan of your view of Josh Allen, he’s a helluva a lot better than most starting QBs out there that’s names don’t start with Brady, Brees and Rodgers. I’d take Allen over half the QBs that are starting right now and yes that includes Mayfield and Jackson.

This is why bad ownership is the worst.  You have the #3 pick this year.  THIS YEAR was the year to fire people and let a new regime draft their guy OR tell them that if they want to hit the reset button and try something new, they get some grace.  Tell your coach and GM that their seats are hot, watch them pass on serious QB talent because they need "weapons" and "pieces" then Stafford comes back and gives you somewhere in the neighborhood of 7 to 9 wins next year and you're ***** out of luck.  Again.

The Lions have been run horribly for many many years. But think about this who would they replace Patricia with? Good head coaches don’t grow on trees and I’m sure there’s a bunch of talent out there as it should be but this year they got plagued  by injuries including the starting QB. You really can’t blame Patricia and his staff for 2019. Now 2020 will be the real answer if Patricia is either the real deal or shown the door by seasons end

I have some very vague memories of Kelly's last years, but I was pretty young. All I have to go on is highlight videos and old game reruns from that time period. So for me, this is basically the first time the Bills have had any success.

Kelly was really fun to watch, felt bad for him his last couple years as he was nearing the end of his career. I remember his last year was horrible and retired because the Bills Fo told him they weren’t gonna bring him back. Wish he could’ve gotten at least 1 ring

I only go back as far as 2002 but this is the best I have felt about the critical triumvirate of HC - GM - QB since that point. In previous regimes there has always been at least one of those 3 I believe not to be up to the standard. Of this triumvirate I am convinced by McDermott and cautiously optimistic on both Beane and Allen. Doesn't mean I love everything about where we are. I will still criticise plenty. But overall this group has my confidence.

I can’t count 2002 since we didn’t make the playoffs that year. To me 2002 was a hyped up disappointment, but I was one that was apart of that hype when we traded for Bledsoe. I thought we had all the tools to go all the way, guess I was wrong

My earliest memories are from the Wade Phillips days, so this is definitely the best things have felt since then.

I think we have a good foundation and some good players. What I think we lack is elite star power. Maybe Allen and Edmunds can get there. Maybe Singletary. Mabe Oliver. Tre White is probably the only one in that category currently. So if we added an elite player on both sides of the ball, we'd be golden. An elite edge rusher, or WR, or perhaps a TE. Other than that it is just continuing to maintain depth and develop our talent, adding pieces to upgrade where we can. A lot of it comes down to Allen's development and whether or not Daboll is actually the answer at OC.

I got to watch Levy and the K gun offense. Too bad we couldn’t get one, never had any QB consistency with Philips as the HC. Was always a fan of his, I think we had the number 1 defense his first year as HC
