WTF 60 million for Bridgewater???????????. That’s ridiculous absolutely absurd. If I was a Carolina season ticket holder I’d be pissed off. This just solidifies that they’re tanking 2020

Miami, Jacksonville, Chicago, Detroit all need a QB and are desperate. Wonder if this will influence Detroit ***** canning Stafford

Wonder if Miami Goes after him? Good chance of them repeating the Dante Culpepper mistake lol

I take it you didn’t want Howard?

Pretty cheap, wonder what Beane was offering

I’m getting the assumption that Lawson didn’t want to stay in Buffalo and wanted to move on. Like someone on here pointed out he’s the last of the Whaley/Rex guys
-
So much for us getting Howard, looks like our options have thinned out. Although Melvin Gordon is still a free agent and Freeman

then as much as I like T. Lawrence, I hope he sucks.
But I see Pats** winning just enough to not get the #1 pick.
Wonder if Edleman retires before the season.
Depends who their QB is going to be. If Belichick ends up signing Dalton, Or some cheap no name then I can see more than just Edelman retiring or wanting off the team

Anyway....sure, it's possible that there is an offensive scheme that Brady, after playing 20 years mostly with pickup ballplayers on Offense and having beaten every iteration of every other team's offensive schemes over the decades, will simply not be able to "learn"..
And sure, maybe Bruce Arians has no idea what he's getting in Brady and that he will not be able to "figure out how" "to develop" Brady.
LOL, good stuff. Totally convincing.
Well who else is in Tampa? They don’t have a RB their O line is suspect at best and their defense is shaky as well. Technically Evans, Godwin and Howard are their main weapons. Plus he’s not playing in the Belichick system anymore. He’s gonna get exposed

I think that oversells Bucs defense by a ton. They were in a lot of weird games where the offense would put them in terrible spots for sure, but the only measurable stat (DVOA doesn't qualify as such) they excelled at was run defense and YPA. You can't give up the 4th most points in the league and get called the 2nd best defense in my book.
Exactly. Their defense statistically wasn’t that good, they were definitely in a lot of weird games where it was either the offense wasn’t showing up or vice versa. Plus their losing some defensive guys that helped them.

Depends what the redskins are asking for compensation. Plus idk if he would be ok to switching to RT

Not yet but I’m sure there will be suitors for him

Maybe the Pats tank this year and end up with Trevor Lawrence from Clemson?(sick face not related to Coronavirus).
Possibly but I doubt it. Belichick doesn’t have the time to develop another QB from the ground up, he’s almost 70 and he’s probably seeing the reality that his team is starting to finally decline. I can see Belichick leaving after this year especially if this year ends up being a disaster. Hence why McDaniels is staying

the question with the O-line is will refs call holding? they didn't seem to on the Pats***.
Good question, the NFL loves their golden boy. Wouldn’t be surprised if he brings some of that cheating bull#### with him to Tampa.

I’ve equally heard Chargers. I’ll believe it when I see it confirmed from more than a few people
He’s not going to LA, he doesn’t want to pay taxes. Plus their o line is trash and they’re losing Melvin Gordon possibly to Miami

Favre as well....and I believe it was the Bills Arthur Moats who gave him that hit.
Forgot about him, he should’ve retired after the packers cut him loose. He just didn’t know when to quit.

There were reporters who were trying to feed a line that teams were fighting for Brady. I call poop. Brady was left with bottom-feeders to pick between.
I think the Dolphins, Raiders Chargers, and 49ers rumors were created by the media and were never real. It was always between Tampa and Resigning with New England. He would never play with the chargers cause California is a high tax state and Tampa Florida there’s no tax. All his money including bonus will be fully guaranteed

One solid hit on Brady and his career is over. I was hoping Ed Oliver was going to be that guy but Brady saw the writing on the wall and wants no part of Buffalo. Good riddance!
Just like Kelly, Marino, and Namath. They all took one hit and that one hit was enough for them to retire. Same is gonna happen to Brady

Their C and guards were among the best in the league last year and they'll likely be taking one of the stud tackles with their 1st round pick.
I guess we were watching different games then, cause the games I watched their o line was shaky and didn’t do a good job protecting Winston which caused him to throw the ball in the other direction over 30 times last year and also the fact that their o line couldn’t open any holes for their RBs to run through. This years Tampa Bay team reminds me of the 2002 Bills, all hype and no success. There’s a reason Belichick let Brady go the same way he let Bledsoe go. That’s still New Orleans division also the Falcons he’ll have to compete against as well

The O-Line was actually quite good this past season
Not really since they couldn’t run the ball if their life depended on it and they struggled against the blitz

Diggs is a much better WR than Watkins can ever dream of being. We needed a WR and we got one. I’m happy to have Diggs even at the cost we gave up for him

Good luck with Lynn as HC...
Also, he took a beating behind his O-line last year.
Tampa's last QB threw 30 INTs last year (at least 20 of which his onw HC said were all on him) and 6 pick 6's.
NE was averaging 31+ ppg through the first half of the season last year (finished 7th in points scored) with Brady, Edelman and...….with Brady and Edelman.
He’s not gonna play well in Tampa, first off Tampa has never developed any QB in their entire history and Brady is 43 years old and doesn’t have the time to learn a new system. He again is signing with a team that’s o line is worse then what he had last year in New England and doesn’t have a running game which right there is a reason why Winston threw 30 picks because he technically was the offense since none of their backs were helping him. I can see Brady’s career in Tampa ending similarly to Joe Namath’s career with LA. All he has is Evans, Godwin and OJ Howard( that is if Arians finally figures out how to use him lol)

Spanos is a cheap ***** and everyone knows it, good luck with Tyrod as your starter Lynn lol.
1 minute ago, Kelly the Dog said:They have some very good players but he’s going to get massacred.
Exactly their o line is not good, you would think he would want to go to a team that’s gonna give him protection

They had the number two defense in the league last year by the DVOA metric, and they are loaded at receiver. Brady is a huge upgrade, and Arians is a good coach. They could be very good next year.
They have a shaky o line and ZERO running game. And some of there key defensive guys left for free agency, plus Arians wants to chuck the ball around, bad spot for Brady

Time to see the system QB fail in Tampa lol

I wouldn’t lol, Redskins are well known to overpay for free agents, Albert Haynesworth, Bruce Smith, Andre Reed, Dion Sanders, Jeff George to name a few lol
