  1. That's a good post. I'm native to SoCa. I've been living south of Boston for many years now (close to Gillette). I find Boston people a little harder to get close to but once you get to know them they make great friends. Second to none. In SoCo I can make 10 best friends in a day but they aren't worth a *****. I find Western NY to have solid people that I like but I'm the kind of guy that tries to make the best of every situation and if it's not good I just keep moving. People are pretty much the same everywhere for the most part. And almost all people are good. 1%ers are everywhere as well. Merry Christmas to you and you family.
  2. Because tackles aren't as good at catching the football and it's a catch off guard matchup thing.
  3. I find these threads hilarious. I've spent my whole life traveling and have enjoyed every place I've been. I've found people to be different regionally but almost all very accommodating and nice. Buffalo included. Any one that thinks a whole city, region or fanbase is despicable really needs to take a look at themselves. You're saying more about you than the people you are trying to insult.
  4. Boston is filled with tourist year around. No one in Boston cares if your a Bills fan. I'm sorry everyone you met was nasty.
  5. They were 5-11 the year before Brady took over and had 3 losing season in the 7 years prior. All sold out. Football is a social gathering. A lot of the hardcore fans can't get in now so the crowds may even get better. I'm just sharing my experience. But you are definitely lying about the security and police. My friend and neighbor is head of security at the stadium. And as far as the Foxboro police and the State Police barrack in Foxboro right next to the stadium, both have a well earned reputation for no nonsense. So yes you made it up.
  6. Sorry I missed the sarcasm. I think he's a pretty good guy but not the sharpest tool in the shed. Concussions go with the territory. He's had 4 grade 1's that we know about, The SB one, the one that caused him to miss two games and two that he passed protocol and returned to the game.
  7. Fans are pretty much the same everywhere. I've never seen an opposing fan abused at Gillette and I've been to a lot of games. Friendly razing yes but also welcomed to join in food, drink and a day of fun. I'm not naïve to think it hasn't happened but it's pretty rare. And there is NO WAY that security and police turn a blind eye to any wrong doings on the grounds. That is total BS. As for the fans? The Patriots were sold out for 6 consecutive seasons before BB and TB arrived. They'll still be there. There's a 30 year wait for season tickets.
  8. I would agree except for the bush league part. I thought it was heady :-) but very obvious. And they want to be taken seriously.
  9. Edelman has missed two games in his career do to concussions. It was the same one that caused him to miss the two games. His head injury status is fairly clean.
  10. No offence taken. I'm referring to fans not players. This goes to knowing football. It was very obvious immediately what went down. If someone didn't know I would say they don't know much about football They may have for all we know.
  11. Sometimes. I think they had a 9+ minute drive in the game. The O is pretty weak this season and they haven't controlled the clock like we've seen in years past.
  12. I have to say reading this thread doesn't inspire a lot of confidence as to Bills fans knowing football. Also I thought you guys relished a reputation for toughness? I'm not seeing that either? Look at this thread...really?
