  1. Are you sure? Just to revisit my original question that you don’t like - do you believe the financial fortunes of Politico Pro and Politico to be intertwined or not? It’s not a hard question.
  2. Good heavens. The last 16 sessions, by any use of the language, include 8 during the Obama era, 4 during Agent Orange 1.0, and 4 during the tenure of the “spry for his age” President Brandon. The esteemed speaker for two years during each of those era’s was Aunt Nan, the wine lover from SF.
  3. You said that democrats only controlled (read carefully now) 4 of the last 16 sessions. That is the opposite of factual.
  4. You didn’t remotely address the question I posed. Why not? I’m fine with useful subscriptions. I suspect the number of subscriptions and the dollar amount may have been on the high side.
  5. Your original statement was not factual, it was wrong. You have a habit of making wrong statements and then twisting yourself into knots to make it look like you were right. Think “a movement of 1 million American nazis” or your disastrous takes on the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. The one thing you will not do, is own up to it when you vomit inaccurate information.
  6. Is it your contention that the funds politico received for politico pro are somehow kept separate? The financial prospects of the “news” side and the “pro” side are not intertwined?
  7. It’s not accurate or factual. You stated that democrats have had control for only 4 of the last 16 sessions. That’s inaccurate and fact-free and you were trying to dunk on “maggats” with it. Very weak. The premise wasn’t good. It sucked. You are whining that people are picking on “fraud/waste/corruption from democrats” as you phrased it. You’re wrong. It’s not fraud/waste/corruption from democrats. It’s from government entities in general. How is that difficult to comprehend? It just so happens that it’s democrats that are showing themselves to be very upset about it all. Very unusual. They must have a reason. You are under the impression that because people generally hate democrats right now that they support republicans and past republican malfeasance. You couldn’t be more off the mark.
  8. Peace? Awful. Why can’t we just continue with the killing?
  9. Yeah, the GQP looks bad because the dems are putting an attention-starved 80yo in charge of rapid response. The Dems look like the sane ones here.
  10. Are you absolutely certain about 12-4? You’ve said it twice now. 3 strikes and… please don’t say your numbers hinge on the current congressional session. That would be rather disingenuous don’t you think? You like to post with an air of authority. It’s incumbent on you to get it right.
  11. Before going after the maggats (clever!), make sure you have your numbers right. I wouldn’t want you to look silly.
  12. None of it was funny, clever, interesting, or edgy at the time, but I certainly support you running it back. Best of luck!
  13. Alert the reliable mainstream media please. They have been running with TRUMP’S disinformation. Thanks for standing watch.
  14. Roundy sh*tting him/her/theirself/selves and pounding HATCH ACT into the ground is imminent.
  15. Seems like a good idea but it didn’t happen on Day 1 so no credit can be given. Also, eggs.
  16. Let’s not throw the baby out with the bath water. Just because we educated an AQ terrorist is not reason to stop funding things like sex changes and 50 MILLION dollars worth of condoms for Mozambique.
  17. Hoax. You posted about it as though you were getting off on it. To each their own.
  18. You are OWNING the magas!! Really good stuff! 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻🤦🏻‍♀️
  19. Some catnip for those that have found themselves in an emotional tailspin the last three weeks. Prayers up for the delusional author of the tweet.
  20. RoundyLogic - GAO is just saying 233-521B is lost to fraud because it’s spending on things they don’t like.
  21. https://althouse.blogspot.com/2025/02/secretary-of-defense-pete-hegseth.html Germany..." "... an action seen as a significant shift from traditional interactions between defense leaders and troops. This event was widely recognized as a morale booster, showcasing leadership through direct participation in military exercises. Hegseth's involvement was praised for promoting a culture of engagement, unity, and a mission-first mindset, potentially enhancing recruitment and troop morale...."
  22. You truly want context for 50M worth of rubbers going to Mozambique? I don’t even know if it’s true but the need for context on this is stunning.
