  1. I heard that on the news and immediately thought, I hope they lowered in a bucket for the poor woman to take care of her, um, bodily functions. .
  2. Nikolai Kapustin - Jazz Etude Opus 40, No. 3 ”Toccatina” (ShanShan Sun, piano) .
  3. I understand. Sometimes, some of us are so passionate about our teams, that we DO seem infantile! .
  4. If Belicheat and Brady are still around, yes. Sans Bill, Brady, And Gronk, the Cheats are a mere shell of the current team. .
  5. Yeah, but I just can’t get past that huge nose to hear her voice! .
  6. Sweep all three games??? WTF was I thinking??? The Cheatriots aren’t even making the playoffs next season!!! .
  7. Can’t wait to sweep all 3 games next season... 19 and 0 baby!!! GO BILLSSS!!!!?? .
  8. Nothin’ for nothin ‘, and certainly nothing against you, arcane, but I’ve been on this board since 2003. As long as I stay within the bounds of proper board etiquette, decorum, and language, I’ll engage whom I choose. .
  9. They don’t? I can’t tell if you’re kidding or not. Where do they play? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_Memorial_Stadium .
  10. OK, another Boston story... I was having dinner at Legal Seafood, Park Plaza location. I was dining alone, so I sat at the bar. They had one of those overhead racks for wine glasses, and you can probably guess what happened. Shortly after my main entree arrived, something happened to bring down pretty much the whole rack right in front of me. Broken glass everywhere. I was ordered not to move while they checked me over for glass, removed my food, and cleaned the mess. They replaced my entree, but I really wasn’t very hungry after all the commotion. Now, you would expect the meal to be comp’ed - at least I did. Nothing. Not even a complimentary cocktail or glass of wine. I should have just walked out without paying, but I didn’t want any trouble. Cheap Boston bastards. I never ate at Legal again. Never will. .
  11. Well I’m on my phone too, but my Jesuit training has made me somewhat compulsive about proper grammar and punctuation. I’ve been fighting - and, so far - beating cancer since 2012, but they found a new tumor last September and went into my liver for the fifth time. So I’m trying to enjoy myself as much as I can, because ya never know if or when things will get worse. .
  12. I would’ve guessed either of those, or maybe Waltham, but he sez he lives in and grew up in Rhode Island. All is can say is, they must have really sh*tty schools there. .
  13. Consistently? Not so much. Do your homework, moron. The Bills shut out the Cheats 31-0 in 2003, in the season opener. In 2011 we won 34-31, erasing a 21-0 deficit. We won 17-9 in 2014, and shut out the Cheats again in 2016, 16-0 - at Gillette. I was there. Many of the other games were very competitive, usually decided in the final moments. Do you even bother to watch the games on TV? That’s free, ya know. The Bills positively owned the Cheats throughout the 1990s, and were 12-8 against them in the ‘70s. Hey, I enjoy golf too. I also enjoy living in great places, taking expensive vacations, and traveling around the country to support my Buffalo Bills. . .
  14. If you haven’t had $2500 or more to waste on frivolous past times since the 1990’s, then I’d say yes, you must be some kind of serious moron, And you continually demonstrate as much on this board. .
  15. Yes, it is a miserable place to have a stadium. People used to wear down coats, caps, and gloves for Giants night games! (Freakin’ California wimps! ?) I experienced freezing cold winds and sideways rain at s Sunday night Bills/49ers game. OTOH, the weather can be quite pleasant for day games. There was a plan in place to redevelop the site (housing, retail, etc.), But it stalled in 2018. As of now, the land sits empty. .
  16. In other words, you live about 20 miles away and have never been to a Cheatriots game at Gillette? Hell, I now live in Buffalo, and I’ve been to over a dozen games there. But hey, why bother going out of your way to support your team, when you can sit on your ass and watch the game at home? .
  17. I still have my Flutie jersey, and two boxes of Flutie Flakes! ? .
  18. “There following”? Maybe you meant “Their following?” Where the f**k did you go to school? Or did you? While we’re at it, where do you live? Methuen? Lowell? Roxbury? And, since you’re such a loyal fan, how many games have you attended? .
  19. I couldn’t agree more - Belicheat will be gone sooner rather than later. He already has 7 rings, and is running out of fingers! Plus, he and Tommy Boy don’t really like each other. Once he’s gone, the Cheatriots demise will accelerate. McDaniels is a great OC, but he does not possess Belicheat’s defensive mind, nor is he as skilled a cheater! ? .
  20. You hit the nail on the head, my friend - WHERE WERE ALL THE PATS FANS??? (I am by no stretch of the imagination a Pats fan, but I was at the game! Maybe it’s because I’m a football fan, not a fair weather fan.) The Bills had, at the time, an 80,000+ seat stadium and, blacked out or not, that stadium was full! (And they were rarely blacked out.) . Sullivan/Foxborough Stadium held far fewer, in a much more populous metro area, and the pathetic fair weather Pats fans stayed home and watched the Giants. Pitiful. .
  21. ? I stopped gambling decades ago - having to hand over $500 to the bag man was the suckiest feeling in the world! ( And my bets were peanuts compared to some of my friends!) .
  22. Read my post, numbnuts - I lived there from 1984 thru 1990. For 2 years I lived in Back Bay (Commonwealth Ave between Dartmouth and Exeter), and 4 years on Beacon Hill (Bowdoin St, right behind the State House). Also summered in Rhode Island (Bellevue Ave., Newport). And I had season tix to both the Patriots and the Red Sox. .
