The decision to kick a 53 FG when already up 4+ points knowing your kicker has been shaky and shanked another 53 yarder earlier in the game.
Missing the kick would put the Giants in good field position w/ a time out to work with and ample time to dink & dunk their way down to the red zone.If McDermott would’ve punted, it would’ve placed the Giants around the 10 (who haven’t scored a TD in multiple games) and made them drive 90 yards! This decision would’ve eliminated all those Trent Edwards check downs and forced Tyrod to make multiple big plays. I’m sure the analytics would back this up all day.
I know it’s irrelevant now, but the Bills are darn lucky to have escaped this game w/ a win.
It was a tough situation. Both choices can be argued for and against.

The Bills won. It didn't look anything like we hoped or expected, but they won.
Bills Mafia and the media are responding like it's a loss. Tony Dungy remarked postgame that Josh Allen sounded like a quarterback who lost.
There was a lot of talk about the Bills possibly benefiting from less pressure this year, but I don't think that's the case. I think there's a lot of internal and external pressure on this team to not only win but also win big and pretty.
I'm not sure this feeling exists in other NFL cities. I think we might need an attitude adjustment, or the weight of expectations could undo this team.

I think the Bills are going to get up in this one and then just keep running the ball to avoid embarrassing Daboll as much as possible.

I was doing everything I possibly could to reverse jinx, but it didn't work.

Daboll returning, Tyrod starting... A magical night in Buffalo for the Giants?

Sabres still suck I guess.

It's so true. The question is... Is it worth it? I have been wrestling with this for some time.

This is why you don’t have a romantic relationship with somebody who reports to you.
I learned that lesson the hard way myself. Best of my life, though.

This is crazy because I literally just finished a massive project on workplace romance yesterday.

Wait, it was Hall? Isn't she like 30 years younger than Brandon? And isn't he short?

There is nothing special about Zack Moss. He is an average NFL running back.

Is it true that they are now hotter and juicier or is it all a lie?

If I'm not mistaken, league wide, only one player has come back to play the next week after a concussion.

The Chiefs last year did the same soft rebuild that the Bills need to do and won the Super Bowl.
-
On reflection, there is literally no way we lose that game if it's a regular home game in Buffalo. I'm pissed.

This is ridiculous.
Look back at the '90s Bills actual game-by-game results. You would have wanted to fire Marv Levy, too.

Of course it's nothing serious when it's the Chiefs. Never is. Meanwhile, Bills have three stars go down to season-enders in 2 weeks.

Why do fans care so much while the players are all huggy huggy?
This is a stupid question. The answer is because the fans have invested decades in the team and have no control over whether or not the ultimate goal is achieved.

anytime someone tells you to calm down it's only one game early in the season, tell them to get back to you when they're playing a playoff game in arrowhead once again.
mcdermott isn't good enough, dorsey is just plain bad. this franchise is going to waste allen's entire career flipping the field with pansy ass punts.
We were playing the Bengals at home last year and it didn't mean crap.

I told everyone this was coming and everyone ridiculed me as if my suggestions were completely preposterous.
The Bills are a historically great team, and that didn't change today. Look back at the '90s Bills. There were always games like this, and today's result had a lot more to do with circumstances and crap than it did the quality of the teams. Also, the injuries suck, but the season isn't over. Every team deals with major injuries at some point.
All that being said, yes, I will avoid mainstream football media all week because the narratives are going to be nauseating.
And, the expectations this year should probably be a Wild Card team, unless Miami gets similarly struck with injuries.
The Jaguars are not better than the Bills.
This game came down to a failure by the Bills offense. They were healthy and the unbelievably injured defense kept giving them opportunities, but they couldn't do anything against a Jacksonville defense that seemed to have their number -- again, I think that was one of the biggest factors going into this game. Belief is a huge thing in football that doesn't get talked about enough.

I think this is a tough one. These Bills have never been to London, Jags are ready to go, Jags always give the Bills fits historically. I smell trouble.
Everyone laughed
Expectations of perfection are hampering this team.

Excellent point that I almost brought up in my post. It sounds different when Mahomes and the Chiefs win these.
