YouTube offering military discount on renewals as well ($198.) I believe verbiage last year stated renewals wouldn’t receive the discount this year, but seems they’ve backed off that.

    Military discount?! 😂

All these people talking about TV services they have that probably aren't legal but they're able to watch all of the NFL games and whatnot. I almost guarantee they're not watching in perfect HD on a TV. I bet it's a spammy laptop situation.

    How so?

This will be our 3rd game at Carolina in 17 years and the Bills are 1-1

The Bills are the first game of a doubleheader

    Fun notes:

Looks like no Buck-Aikman game for the Bills this year, very strange

If Bills win week 1, there's a great chance talk of an undefeated season starts to build, but I think Baltimore has a decided advantage in this spot

Chiefs will be on short rest coming to Buffalo; Bills are going to beat them in the regular season AGAIN

Dolphins are going to be a hot mess by week 10

Houston game is toughest W on the schedule to call, but I think Bills will be motivated

Cincinnati game is another hard call, but the Bills are due

Patriots are going to be a playoff-type team and will be really good by the end of the season, and they're coming off a bye before getting the Bills at home

I like the Bills at home late in the regular season against the Eagles sandwiched between two big games against Washington for them

  4. Why is this a thread? Anyone can ask ChatGPT the same question and get a different result. ChatGPT isn't some novel thing anymore. If you aren't using it in your daily life -- or at least if you haven't replaced Google with it -- you're not trying at all.

  5. This is a fact, not trying to stoke anything -- there's been a lot of discussion about potential racial bias.

My quick research shows that 70% of non-Caucasian voters voted Jackson.

So, there might be something to it, or it might be a coincidence.

It's really a great example of how cruel life and maybe karma are. You stuck by him for years and years, through college and the draft and building his career, then he's up there thanking a new woman for being his rock and "wouldn't be here without you" and you're just completely forgotten. Tough!

  7. Allen is the favorite, often heavily, everywhere.

It would be the first time in recorded history where the favorite doesn't win.

In other words, him not winning would be perfectly Billsy and is certain to happen.

I have stopped taking football as seriously over the years, unfortunately its the only way to not be personally bothered by a game. Laughing is good - the bias stings and makes me question the integrity of the sport

And after you make this switch, winning the Super Bowl wouldn't mean as much... Which is why it's so hard to make the switch

Being a Bills fan isn’t just about winning Super Bowls.  It’s the only thing that’s missing- but it’s not the only thing that matters.

I love watching Josh Allen and the boys play every week.  I enjoy it much more than I enjoyed any team in the drought years.  These failures will make the success much more sweet when it comes our way

Lol, it's not going to come. I don't quite grasp how Buffalo fans still have hope.

    Pretty sure it's either a 4-3 DE or a 3-4 OLB

This, most nickel defenses are pretty much a 3-3-5 look. It just gives you an under or over look with 4 down lineman in some way. The Edge is your pass rusher/drop zone player. It eliminates the designation of DE as well, making lineman and qbs have to identify the edge on pass rush situations

A 1 dimensional DE or OLB that only rushes the passer and doesn’t hold up to the other responsibilities. A target in the opponents rushing attack

Not a new position. When player agents saw that their pass-rushing LB clients were making much less than DEs, they didn’t like this. Especially when the franchise tag was much more for DEs. So, they made a “new” position, which would have different financial considerations. The EDGE was born. But, on the field, this is not a new position.

It's so cringe that you guys are replying to explain what an edge rusher is. That is not what the thread is asking...at all.

I almost can't with people anymore.

When it happened, I chalked it up to matchup problems for the Bills.  The Ravens have long been one of the NFL's "bully' teams.  They not only talk tough, they play to beat up their opponents.  Acquiring Derrick "Mack Truck" Henry only adds to that persona.  I'm not so sure now.  I think perhaps Buffalo had not yet fully adjusted to the injuries they had already sustained to that point in the season.  Of course, the choice the Bills have made to go primarily with a 4-2-5 nickel lineup as their base defense also reduces their margin for error in run defense and a number of teams have run up yardage totals on the ground against the Bills this season.

The Bills have adjusted to their injury situation and found other players who can contribute effectively.  Against KC, they played with a pretty high level of consistency.  Kareem Hunt actually had his longest run of the season yesterday, but overall, Buffalo's defense did a solid job against both the run and the pass.  I think if Buffalo played Baltimore now, the result would be very different.  Even if they didn't win, it would be a very close game.

Against Houston, I think Buffalo was still dealing with the shock of the Baltimore blowout.  It's on the coaches that they didn't get the players past it.

What do you think?  Has your view changed?

We lost to Houston because of offensive injuries and Allen trying to show out to prove he didn't need Diggs.

Coming into this season, the Bills were looked to be in a transitional year.  Most media suggested we were the third best team in our division, and a wild card bubble playoff team.  Last season our average age as a team was 27.4 years old, with our starters averaging an age closer to 30.

    "Core" players out:

    Diggs

    Davis

    Morse

    Hyde

    Poyer

    White

    Neal (ST ace gunner)

    Taiwan Jones (ST)

Taiwan Jones wasn't on the Bills last year
