I just made the call. I didn't feel like arguing or lying about my intentions, so I just asked for the CLG group and if they could offer me any deals on Sunday Ticket. They said they didn't have Sunday Ticket available, but they took $40 off my bill for 12 months and waived my $25 receiver charge. This is in addition to an existing $25 off for 12 months, so my bill is now $12.99 per month. lol

Does anyone find it interesting in any way that McD chose peach as his flavor of choice?

I could go for a twist in a waffle cone right about now.

Is this the old "FlaFitz" from BBMB?

And then they let Pittsburgh’s 3rd string teams destroy them.
I don't recall a walk in Seattle specifically, but I remember that year a picture of Mularkey with tubs full of cheeseburgers from McDonald's. They'd have them on every road trip. Some other coach in the league had suggested it to Mularkey.

McKenzie has popped so much during the games, not only in the preseason but also in the regular season last year. At this point it would seem rather foolish to let him go. He's a very dangerous weapon on offense AND special teams.
You have a primary X, a primary Y, and a primary slot, and you have backups for all three. Some teams will keep a 7th receiver as a specialist. This is what I would do if I were the Bills...
X: Brown, Foster
Y: Jones, Williams
Slot: Beasley, McKenzieSpecialist: Roberts
I actually think this is a position on the roster where the Bills need to keep an extra player. It is not unheard of to keep 7, especially when you have such a great specialist in Roberts and you have so many unique skill sets that you don't want to lose. You might even see McCloud and Phillips on the practice squad, too!

This is rather concerning. After what Wade has put on tape, it wouldn't be entirely shocking if some other team picks him up on waivers.

Does the Home team select the colors or the road team?
I'm pretty sure the home team does, because that's why the Dolphins, for example, always wear white when it's hot and make the visiting team wear their dark colors.

Yes. Or probably a few minutes after that.
Definitely during the Superbowl years. That's when I really remember the all-white look coming into fashion.
I hated it then and still don't like it now.
We wore all-white at home during the SB years? I know we usually wore all-white on the road, but all the games I remember and the footage from those years seems to have us in blue-on-white at home. And I think that's why I expect it.

- He really hopes Marcus Murphy makes the team because he’s a “great RB”
- he recently moved to Pittsburgh and listens on his “ESPN” app to Murph - he corrected himself to radio.com app. He says it’s the best radio show ever. The guests they have on, are just superior to anything else on the radio.
I can't really disagree on (Marcus) Murphy; he always seems to have a lot of juice and finds holes. Just no room on the team this year, barring injury...

IIRC we used to wear white at home all the time. No? Late 70's to mid 80's?
Oh really? I wasn't a person then.

Sunday Ticket in your home is pretty easy
Not what I'm referring to... PFT has discussed many times the possibility of having a pay-as-you-go system for NFL games, essentially making them PPV. Or, you could have a "follow your team" subscription option for out-of-towners, on Amazon Prime or something, for substantially less money than Sunday Ticket.

Others might not care about this as much, but it bugs me that they refer to this as "home blue" and yet seem to avoid wearing it at home. For example, I don't understand why we were in all-white for the first home preseason game. I (like many fans) tuned in wanting to see the blue and our new field. I could be wrong, but it seems like the all-white look has occurred frequently at home under McDermott.

She's just terrible.
Voice is irritating, her enthusiasm is all over the place. Not much input into the game itself.
Boring and an awful voice = Mowins just go away
Yes, she is terrible... I'm not sure if it is a geographic accent or what exactly is going on with her voice, but it's awful

Yes, this pretty much makes it impossible
Kevin Harlan is the best, so this is good news. We also get Gumbel and Green for the national broadcast of the Lions game next week. Wonder if Gumbel will talk about any passes being thrown to "THIS side"

All of these options give me a stomach ache. I wish the NFL just made it easy to purchase a "follow your team" service for live games or even allowed purchase of individual games.

There's a first for everything, even though this actually wouldn't be a first. A better question might be, "How many practice-squad quarterbacks have developed into tradable assets?" (I'm not sure of the answer. I'm just sayin'.)

Yeah, it'll be that classic "oh look at our shiny new toy" scenario and then nothing exciting will happen for Jets fans. ?

Oh dear.

I don't think there's any denying that it would give anyone pause... but it is practice for a reason and you'd have to hope that he was working on high-risk throws or something. If he did it in a game, that's another story...
Should we Trade Zay Jones?

I am very confused about what's going to happen with these receivers. It's hard to read into all of the pieces of evidence as they all seem to conflict with each other.
