  1. They are both very competitive as is the norm in the NFL, as for them wanting out of Buffalo, the FO sucked, the HC sucked, no QB etc, the organization was a train wreck when they got to Buffalo, we all know this, can’t really blame them for wanting better situation to be in.

That is all water under the bridge now, and we have better players at those positions now. It has all worked out for the best, so outside of talking a little sh-t about them it’s all good. If the teams make up was better Sammy the foot would have had a nice career in Buffalo. For some unknown reasons I never liked Gilmore, even less when

he was picked up by the patsies.

  2. Most of the class will not be talked about very much in five or so years, and will be considered average to slightly better or worse. Something around five will still be considered good to very good in five years. A bunch will just fade away with short careers.

So Diggs is a by far a better choice for what we gave to get him, compared to what we would have had to give to get someone who might be as good in three to five years.

yah, I know, highly scientific analysis. ?

  3. The deal is this, “if” the QB or any other player does not rise to the level that Beane/McDermott want/need over an allotted period of time that player will be traded or released regardless of who that player is.

It not complicated in the least, that’s how it works. Beane and the entire organization treat the players very well, but he is more ruthless than many think, he does not F around. Jmo.

Boatdrinks, in his post above makes correct points.

  4. As said above, he is now going to have to take the brunt of coverage packages, he knows damn well Diggs was a big part of his success.  Diggs comes to a situation where there is a thousand yard receiver in place, with a very good slot guy as well, so if he is doubled it leaves those others in one on one coverages that they can beat, and visa versa if others get doubled.  Hell I’d be bummed too if I was him.

Allen is the leader of the offense.

The Bills offense has 1 job and that is to score points.

Bills averaged 19.6 points a game last year which is not acceptable.

6-7 points more a game with their D puts them up into a SB contending team.

Allen and the O need to improve at least 4 points per game this year minimum.

That is the only stat besides winning that matters.

I would contend that the goal for the offense is a TD every quarter. For them to think otherwise is self defeating in the big picture. Yes I understand this may not actually happen every game but it needs to be the goal.

  6. If he hits 62% pass percentage, stops with the fumbles, and leads the team back to the playoffs and wins in the playoffs/ and or wins the division and playoff games he is safe. But some of this is on his pass catchers, as we all know the drops have been an issue. Lots of little things have to happen to create success. I am confident that all the little things will be done right and success will follow.

Singletary is a 200 carry RB IMO. We need another RB that will take 150 carries next year.

Beane is very good at what he does for the team, those that would throw shade at him are confused individuals.

Unless CW is going to play, and even so, to me at least, it is obvious that another RB is going to be signed, being that we have DS, CW,  and Yeldon, no one else really counts. Not really a question at this point.

If there was no offer, what was it that they called him about and that he told them he would have to think about?

You can make up anything you want I guess.

    As can anyone...

he may just been saying in essence, I need time to decide if joining your organization is my best move, then gets on the horn with his agent to see who else is interested, meanwhile Beane has been working with Minnesota and reached an agreement, and likely told Sanders agent that they have made an alternative arrangement, it’s really not that complicated to work out what likely could have happened.

Shortly  there after the saints made him an offer and maybe he through his agent declined a role players position with the Bills, never can tell.

I still think many FAs still look at the Bills with skepticism and this was an example of that, being Sanders was a bit taken back by the Bills moving on from him so quickly,  and that the Bills having multiple irons in the fire,  To include a much better player, Ego is always in play with professional athletes. Again it’s not that hard to come up with an acceptable premise for what likely went down.

Makes for some fun supposition don’t ya think? ?

  9. The lack of movement on a federal level back in January when our own doctors and specialists first informed our federal government is why we are  playing catch-up at this point. We lost almost two months of time just getting our leaders to take this seriously, and get the ball rolling.   This has been a botched job from the get go. I hope those guys don’t get infected it would be horrible for them and their families.

    Stay healthy Bills Nation!!!
