Am I the only one that doesn't want the Bills to spend money on a free agent running back unless it's for vet minimum?

James Cook was drafted in the 2nd round and averaged 5.7 ypc as a rookie.

Nyheim Hines is explosive and has been criminally underused his whole career.

Already, with those two, you have a fast, versatile, pass-friendly duo. Draft a short yardage and pass blocking running back somewhere in the 5th-7th rounds. Sign an UDFA. Done.

I;d rather they pick up a rb in free agency than the draft and waste the pick. We seem to find studs for the defense in the late rounds lets keep that going so we can stack the offense in free agency.

Teams and agents talk all the time

Yup, they all just talk in hypotheticals before the tampering period. By saying things like what do you expect your client to want, or hypothetically if we offered such and such money would your client be interested come free agency. By now I bet most the big name free agents already got their teams lined up outside of the few that want to make visits first.

I agree with the point you're making about BPA, but wasn't Basham a BPA pick? They had just taken a DE in rd 1 and grabbed Basham, another DE, in rd 2 because he was BPA on their board.

I'm not sure, I know the Bills want us to believe that and he may have been but I believe the Bills wanted a DE rotation and sort of pidgeon hole selected a second DE. Probably earlier than they would have since Basham was higher on their board than other De's available that they felt they could get later on.

That said I hope he wasn't a true bpa pick to the Bills at that point. If so then we have a huge scouting problem. I threw things when we chose Basham over several other prospects at that point. Though I admit a few of those guys I would of preferred at that time have been non existant and terrible as well. Poor draft that year imo but one of the top guys I wanted at that time who I feel should of been a no brainer top bpa pick was Creed Humprey.

  4. I want BPA, I don't care if it is offense or Defense. At pick 28 you shouldn't pigeon hole into a position. Outside of qb or obvious positions you don't pick in the 1st like punter every position should be in play. If you pigeon your hole choices that is how you wind up making decisions like taking Boogie Basham over Creed Humphrey back in 2021. Just give me bpa after plugging our blatant holes in free agency before hand with cheap solid to average veterans.

Does having Saffold and Quessenberry on the Bills help Frazier game plan for King Henry?

The revamped dt position and dline as a whole help Frazier game plan for Henry. Run D was our biggest issue last year and it looks like it may be a strength this year.

    Questions about practice squad players:

    1. Do they travel with the team?

    2. Do they attend home games?

    3. Will they get Super Bowl rings if the Bills win it all?

    4. Would they be able to be on the sideline for the Super Bowl/playoff games?

I tried looking this up, but all I'm finding is poorly written articles that contradict each other.

    1. No

    2. Not allowed on the sidelines allowed to be at the stadium

    3. Yes

    4. No

I don’t know why they don’t just suspend him until the situation plays out. If the Bills were as through as they say- then they can bring him back.
If it turns out he did all that he accused of then he is cut. In the meantime the Bills get a punter( who can hold).

The Bills statement really puts an intense amount of pressure on their credibility. At a time when the brand is at an all time high. This is a pivotal point for the franchise. If they get additional info they need to immediately apologize and take accountability.

NFLPA rules dictate the Bills can't suspend him for something he did while not under contract of the Buffalo Bills.

It'd be like your boss suspending you for no pay while in college before you got your job.

He wasn’t in the house but texted her that she should probably get tested for STDs because he’s what, just an all around nice guy?

She claimed they had sex outside of the house before she was later brought into and raped inside. He didn't have to be part of the inside house incident to have given her an std.

I mentioned this last night, but admitted that maybe I just hadn't see everything out there yet.  However, it's the next day and not a whole lot new has been reported.  Can someone let me know why there seems to be 100% focus on Ariaza and none on the other players involved?  It just seems like the lawyer is throwing anything and everything at 1 guy while the others are hardly mentioned to this point.  Just odd, that's all.

Araiza is a professional sports player who was just signed to a pro sports contract. That means he can pay. The other two are no names who likely will no longer be playing college sports regardless as one was a redshirt and the other already wasn't returning prior to this civil suit.  The lawyer doesn't care about the non famous guys who can't pay up in a civil suit. Why would he? Civil suits won't lead to prosecution. The suit is just about getting paid.

The others will likely get a lot more attention come the prosecution if it ever occurs.
