Not really. On Josh scramble Brown blocked his guy behind the pocket and Allen stepped up. They had Cover 0 blitz on another play. Too many to block. Dawkins got beat. Otherwise they were solid in pass protection. Run blocking was bad though.

Interesting story I thought he was terribly overrated at Oregon. Never won a big game until the RoseBowl his final year. And he did that running as much as he did passing. Then he played really well and I thought maybe he would be a better pro. I still think that is the case. He's been held back by bad coaching more than anything else.

Don't care too much about the wind. Would prefer no rain. But Bills oline probably has a better chance run blocking against their Dline than pass blocking. This would be a perfect week for 175 yards passing and our backs combining for 200 yards rushing. Let Gilliam earn his roster spot this week. Use an extra OT for heavy sets. Let's not pretend Knox or Kincaid are even average blockers. Pound the rock early and often.

The rain

Pass rush seems better but they are 26th in team sacks with only 3(Commanders #1 with 10). They seem to be affecting the QB. But I would like to see them get the QB on the ground a bit more frequently. Run defense looks good. Bernard still looks tiny but he had a solid game last week. Hopefully he keeps it up and I'm eating a healthy dose of crow at the end of the season. It will be interesting how Miami attacks this secondary. Despite what the stats say, visually White looks slow. The reality is he was never a speed guy anyways and no one in the league can match Hill. The entire secondary looks pedestrian when it comes to speed. But when you play zone most of the time elite speed is less of an issue. Pass rush makes every secondary better so that is why I pointed out the low sack numbers as something I would like to see get better.

Having now lived more of my life outside of Buffalo than in WNY and my entire adult life outside of WNY, I can say I have never met a more friendlier group of people than those that live in or grew up in WNY. Nothing says home quite like being in Italy and hearing "Go Bills".

Wow I'm not sure how you came away from yesterday still thinking the offense was disjointed. Perhaps it was all the success they had running the ball which sometimes just means a 3 yard gain. It's still early and they will face better defenses but long sustained drives using multiple receivers and 3 backs is a recipe for success. Add the fact all this running and dink and dunk goes on tape. Sooner or later the big play opportunity will come back as defenses try to commit to stopping the short stuff. What they put on take yesterday will pay dividends in weeks to come.

Pretty sure I defended Dorsey and laid all the balme on Josh after week 1. I'm pretty sure over the offseason I was unsure how Dorsey would incorporate Kincaid but was open to see how it turned out. As for McD I've been a perennial skeptic for years and only an AFC Championship will change my mind. Nothing against the human being. He seems like a fine person. Just still don't trust him when it really matters. To his credit he has found the right balance of being aggressive on offense. His time management is reasonable. Just worried he will choke away victory again. So to answer the OP, nothing has changed for me.

Agree. He was clearly a defenseless receiver and they didn't call it. Oh maybe that was it. Though was the game stopped for potential injury or was it for the penalty being announced? I also thought the refs can pull guys for concussion symptoms too, and the independent neuro guy was in addition to the refs.

Except he used his final timeout so he couldn't use a challenge in the future.
