The Posh Spice type.  Natural redhead, fair skinned, very WASPy looking IMO.

I think she's hotter than hell.

EDIT:  I meant to write "GINGER Spice."

Posh was always my favorite!  So I have Posh on the brain.

Thank God that crap didn't exist when I was a kid, and we had to invent fun, proactive ways to get in trouble that involved actual  human interaction and what not.

"Social media" is anything but social.

Of course, he's the only coach to actually get the Bills into a big game this century, so there's that.

I guess you are talking about the playoff game.

You seem to suggest McDermott has distinguished himself with some sort of accomplishment no other Bills coach has been able to achieve this century.

McD's 9-7 record is no different than Mularkey's in 2004 or Doug Marrone's in 2014.

McD lucked out with factors totally outside of his control and beyond the scope of his personal achievements in a way that Mularkey and Marrone did not, so McD gets the playoff game and those guys didn't.

Doesn't make McD any better than your typical Bills 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 fare IMO.

That's where this organization has lived forever.

The playoff appearance is greatly overblown around here, along with lots of other things.

  4. My dream band pretty much already exists.

    Their called Led Zeppelin.

Really difficult to improve upon any of the 4 members, particularly in the early days when Robert Plant was still really young and had that absolutely wicked voice and Jimmy Page was not a heroin addict.

Pretty much same thing with Cream.  Only room for improvement with them would be vocals on songs where Jack Bruce did the singing, as he wasn't a very good singer IMO.

Love Eric Clapton's voice though.  Which reminds me: Eric Clapton has to be considered #1 in terms of a guy who can sing, and play a guitar.  He's on the short list of best guitar players all time, and actually quite a good singer.

Freaking talented guy.  Very few names could even be put on a list for comparison, mostly b/c they wouldn't have the guitar playing skill to compete with him.

Jimi Hendrix comes to mind, as does SRV.  Clapton is a much better singer than both those guys though.

Seriously why? You can see clear as day the leagues direction and we have a guy who plays scared, possession football and can’t manage in game. He’s a quiet Rex Ryan. Would have been a great HC in 1995, when everybody was playing out of what is still his book. Instead the game has passed both he and this franchise by

Folks seem to have already forgotten that McDermott was feeling good about using Nate Peterman as his starting QB this year while Josh Allen sat on the sidelines and "learned."

    Build a winning tradition.........by losing?

You seem to overlook the fact that we've already done quite a bit of it this year.

    Why stop now?

If Justin Herbert comes out in the draft, teams are going to be looking to offer sweet packages to move up.  If we have the right, really high draft slot, we can be in a position maybe to trade down with such a team and have a huge draft.

Of course, I'd rather we just draft Justin Herbert!  But that's not going to happen.

We potentially have a lot to gain by losing out, especially if we can get lucky and have those 3 win teams win some more.

As much as I want to lynch the FO for this dreary season and the boatload of mistakes, this year was the mulligan and they knew it. I expect a 10-6 or better playoff season next year. That doesn't happen or at the least 8-8 with tons of upside then we can ride them out of town to live with the Ryan twins in Canada.

Those are lofty expectations unlikely to be realized IMO.

No need to bicker about it now though.

Next year is going to be way more interesting than this year from many perspectives.

I like Sal and Leo.  I am in Bridgeport CT, son of a Buffalo native and lifelong Bills fan.  Sal and Leo remind me of NY Post sports writers.  They are negative because they look at the product the Bills have put out for the past 18 years and write critically.  Compare now to the super bowl years and the team is a bunch of pikers.  They say the team has a good coach and some key players and are optimistic for 2019; but for now they are cool on a team that blew a game to the Jets.  As fans we are inclined to wear rose colored glasses; they are not fans, they are journalist.  Just my $0.02.

    Thank you.

The vast majority of folks who participate at this forum do not want to view the team objectively.

I spelled his name wrong I think, but this guy has fully morphed into Sully.  Everything negative, pretends like he speaks for all the fans in his articles, acts like this was supposed to be a winning season, you name it, he will criticize it and tell you how bad it is.

His radio spots are unlistenable, honestly this dude is worse than Schopp if that's possible.

So for the 3% of you that miss doom and gloom Sully, there's a new sheriff in town.

This was supposed to be a winning season.

And wait, there's more!  Nate Peterman was supposed to be the starting QB doing the winning while Josh learned from the sidelines, at least for a while, if not the full season.

No top 10 talent on offense?

Good grief, screw losing out then.

If Oregon QB Justin Herbert comes out, he will go high.

But almost all of the top prospects are on the defensive side of the ball.

One offensive lineman to keep an eye on and whom the Bills may try to target is OT Jawaan Taylor from Florida.

He's a monster but with good agility/athleticism for his size.

I think a lot of folks have him pegged as the top OL in the draft.

  11. "Learning to close out games" isn't a thing.  It's what some football fans discuss.

You know what we needed more of yesterday? Big throws from Josh Allen at key times and fewer turnovers.

Competent special teams play would have gone a long way too.

We did not capitalize on a lot of good situations and left points on the field throughout the game.

There's nothing to "learn" there per se.  The quality of Bills play needs to impove all over the field.

When it does, I think you'll see that we magically learn how to win.

That's all you had to type. We having been saying for years that once you get the quarterback straight everything else kind of works it self out. We have our guy. Yes he has some things to work on, but he's going to work his ass off his entire career. He's guy.

We need some o-linemen in free agency, we need a reciever, and a tight end. We need a defensive tackle as well, and perhaps a defensive end. But we have that cornerstone piece...now we can really build a team.

If being a good QB came down to hard work, EJ Manuel, Tyrod Taylor, and Nate Peterman would all be superstars.

Do you think we will win the last 3 games ? knowing the Bills that could happen . I would not be surprised . Meaningless games ? lose out for a better draft pick or use the 3 games as preseason for 2019 ?

We're not beating New England so there's 1 loss right there.

The team will try to win, I would prefer losses, but with consistent improvement from Josh Allen.

In a few weeks this season will be over for us, and all that we will have to show for the entirety of it is a cleared out salary cap, Josh Allen's hoped for improvement, and a high draft slot in 2019.

Drop after drop and have to ask the question as to has a receiver made a great catch all year?  Don't say Holmes on that 77 yd td as it hit him right in the hands.

I'm talking a catch where the receiver is laid out or caught it with one hand or out-muscled a DB.

I think Holmes did adjust to one ball this year to make a nice catch with the DB tring to bust it up.

As said before, these receivers are just awful.

I don't disagree that our receivers aren't very good, but how relevant is it to not have made crazy, highlight reel catches?

How much impact on wins and losses do you think that really has?

I'm just not seeing any studs hitting FA.  These days it seems guys are paid or traded.  We should be looking into trades like our round 1 for Julio Jones and their round 2.  (With the idea being they can't afford to keep him)

Missed the boat last year not signing Laundry or this year not trading for Amari Cooper.

Bring back Gaines he's on a 1 yr deal in Cleveland

This!  People keep saying pick up X, Y, Z in free agency.

Look at the names!  Not a lot to choose from.

And you will have to compete with better destinations for what talent is available.

From having an injured kicker go for a 54 yarder to the 2 runs on 1st and 2nd at the Jets 23 on the second to last drive...this conservative garbage is so incredibly frustrating. I just don't understand it. Is the point of the game to keep it close or to go for the win? Even when we're 4-8 the guy just won't go for it. Give Allen more than 1 shot on that set of downs to make a play. Stop playing for a field goal.

You can see this coming a mile away, sometime in the future if we make it back to the playoffs, his brutal gameday management and conservativeness is going to bite us hard at the end of a game.

McDermott is the type of football guy who wants to keep it close and win all games 10-7.

He is an over-promoted DC and will likely revert to that level in due course.

I just pray to God Pegula understands that his next HC needs to be young, smart, and offensively oriented.

It's where the game is and where it's going.

This poll has opened my eyes to media & social media in general. Again it seems almost half the posts are negative, even in this thread, media are negative, and blablabla. Yet the poll shows over 80% of us see him as THE guy - and I'm one of them. And that those that see him as a bust are a super tiny minority. Loudmouths really get more attention than they deserve.

BTW it doesn't mean Josh is free of our criticism and that he doesn't have a lot of things to improve! But so many idiots don't get the difference between intelligent discussion and criticism with plain bashing and cheap negativity.

Not sure what in the world you're talking about.

This forum is dominated by a very vocal majority in praise of Allen.

The mere suggestion that he may not be franchise material results in other posters throwing around the word "troll" and what not.

Most folks around here run in a pack and like to stick together with groupthink and a herd mentality, and that group thinks Josh Allen is clearly, obviously, a terrific talent.

  18. Went with option 4.  Probably not, draft another QB.

No way that happens of course, but you asked what I want, not what the team is going to do.

As long as McBeane are here, Josh Allen will be their QB and they will not be drafting another.
