Why should this be more of a goal this year than in any year?
And if beating NE comes down to "focusing more" why didn't the team implement this strategy a long time ago?

Packers are probably my second favorite team behind the Bills.
In fact, they may be the only team I don't hate!
For several years now, it has seemed like GB has not done enough winning given the luxury of having Rodgers as their QB.
The blame there has to fall on coaching, and they probably should have made a change before now.

A lot of those look good and make the school recognition pretty easy.
Get the NCAA and NFL owners to sign off on this and it should be good for merchandise sales in both venues.
And to make it better, after you do the Detroit Lions as U Michigan Wolverines, you can do it again as the MSU Spartans in a green scheme so as to keep the folks happy in East Lansing.
Lots of combos and permutations here, all equaling $$$.

Sal is generally a homer. He doesn’t fit with fans who criticize the team.
Generally he swoops in to defend the Bills.
Dickerson was a loud mouth, but part of his schtick pulled you in because the debate was spirited.
I don't think a lot of posters here understand that Murphy and Tasker are paid by the Buffalo Bills and represent them in a positive light (for the most part) for that reason.
You have to love someone who dislikes an independent voice exercising critical thought and prefers a propaganda driven show.
I think a lot of fans associate themselves with the team and confuse the two identities. They project themselves onto anything team related and therefore, take personal offense when the team is criticized.
These people need to work on developing their own identity a bit more IMO.

Knight is a classic bully and ego-driven psychopath. Guys like him are a dime a dozen in the business world.
And yet he was also an enormous doer of good and involved in a LOT of charity work and money raising efforts for all kinds of worthy recipients.
A very complex fellow.

Miami had 8 penalties for 89 yards including a number of key offensive holding calls.
The officiating is pretty evenly bad throughout the league and is certainly not why lost today.
I'm sure the fans of every team think the officiating impacts their team the most.

This point was brought up in the post-game radio show with Schopp & The Bulldog.
Perhaps that was you calling in?The answer as to why we do this is what Schopp said: it's the way McDermott wants to play football. He wants to slow the game down to a crawl, shorten it, play tight defense, and win every game 10-7.
I am of the opinion that this philosophy absolutely does not work in the NFL in 2018. We are possibly THE MOST conservative/cautious team left in the league at this point. Not good, if you're a Bills fan.
I couldn't agree with you more; we threw away that possession at the end of the half and that is losing football. Which makes sense, given that we lost.
McDermott's penalty flag challenge was also bad, as almost ALL of his challenges have been since he arrived here. We clearly do not have a competent system in place to ensure proper challenges and eliminate poor challenges.
It's another sign of bad coaching/lack of organization.

Just watched that throw again about 10 times.
I estimate the ball was under thrown by something on the order of 13 yards.
When the ball leaves Allen's hand, Clay is near the end line, in the back of the end zone. He ends up having to get his hands to ground level on the goal line to get to the ball. I.E., the ball would have hit a receiver "in the numbers" probably around the 3 yard line or maybe even further out.
The ball was horribly thrown with a wobble that suggested it was tipped; it was not tipped.
The whole thing seems more spectacular than it was b/c the game was on the line and Allen had to run around in circles avoiding a sack before the throw.
In the end, it was a horribly thrown ball and Clay failed to make a really nice catch to bring it in, which perhaps he should have, but he did not.
The Ronnie Harmon incident in Cleveland is not comparable IMO.

Neither team is set up at QB for the future at the moment IMO. As time goes on this will be more obvious.

Allen's inaccuracy straight up cost us 3 TDs today, including what could have been the game winner at the end.
Yes, Clay probably should have caught that ball, but that doesn't change the fact that it was inaccurate and very poorly thrown.
I'd further suggest had it been a good throw, it likely would have been caught.

You can see that this is true on many long throws; just watch the WR. More often than not, if the WR is going to get to the point where the ball is going to come down, he needs to accelerate, not slow down. As he reads the ball in flight and realizes that, he accelerates.
