  1. Can never have too many good ones. Just look at us. Fletcher was down early in the season, Spikes out, and we had Posey as our best LBer for a while. And while Crowell has had a few good plays he really isn't a starter quality LBer.
  2. Or Tom Brady. I wasn't commenting on his accuracy, or field vision. Just saying that the guy has a slow delivery. Damn smurf boy way to take every statement out of context.
  3. Yeah, but he has probably the slowest release I have ever seen in a QB. Winds up like a baseball pitcher.
  4. Sucks for me, I already lost Bulger on my fantasy team. Now this.
  5. You think?
  6. Me too, and I'll take the subtle difference in what I saw as correct.
  7. http://www.lossless-audio.com/usa/index0.p...=1680970232.htm Just so it isn't taken out of context. Yeah he called for the pullout of troops on tape after the election. However, his intention was to kill Diem, and continue training with the "advisors" fullscale until then sending thousands of troops in ensure the South was capable of winning. He also hated the military and didn't trust them so he hoped to move Macnamera to State and give him defacto control over the military from there. However, all his "schemes" were wasted when he was killed. So while on the surface it appeared it waanted a pullout he sure was doing a lot of underhanded things to cause havoc and to neuter the US military.
  8. Nope. It isn't. Too much ground to cover on the short underneah. There was no way no how he was getting there in time. Not his job. Deep is not over the top.
  9. He is the OVERTOP safety on that play. He isn't expected to cover a 3 yard pattern. He picks up guys coming across or going to the corners. If you watched Poseys reaction and Wires reaction after the play you would know that was Poseys fault.
  10. Peters got worked by Peppers all day long. Not sure what you watched but Peters was way outclassed. The only time he didn't was when Peppers went out and the Bills switched to the hurry up. As soon as Carolina called TO and Peppers was back on the field, we stopped our progress and only got a FG.
  11. I like for the most part what I have seen from JP the last couple of games. He still isn't seeing things inside the 20 yet, and he may never but he looks a lot better then he did the first four games. However, he seemed to get some of the bunny hops on occassion today, and made some real bad awareness errors. But overall he is getting passing grade from me. Even if it is a D minus. At least he is looking better and starting to look somewhat like an NFL QB.
  12. Yeah too bad that wasn't his fault. It was Posey who dropped coverage and should not have. But go ahead and blame the overtop guy on a short pattern to the endzone. Get a clue. Wire actually played damn good today.
  13. But a .45 would have prevented more unneeded births.
  14. Cindy, very sorry to hear that. I put you in my prayers last night.
  15. I believe the power brokers in SF were gone by then. He did a lot of that winning with some subpar talent in SF. Not a real good D and outside of TO, not a whole lot of talent on the offense either. Hearst was the RB, Garcia the QB, Stokes was the #2. Not an allstar group. Average to Above average yes. But, Bryant Young, Derek Smith and Ahmed Plummer where the best defensive guys. Plus he made it to the playoffs his last 2 years there, which is why he got a 5 year 25 million dollar deal with Detroit.
  16. Yeah he only made the playoffs 4 out of 6 years at SF. We should be so lucky to have a coach do that for us.
  17. How is this thread any different then most of them that are over here?
  18. What next? The rubber and and glue defense. You may want to go recheck your facts.
  19. No but to be honest they both pretty much have sucked. Neither as it turns out was really worthy of the position they were picked at. But by every draft expert Mckinnie was expected to go after Williams and WIlliams was projected as a top 5. Part of the problem isn't always the player however, and coaching plays into it as well. Williams maybe poor here but his Oline caoching was terrible throughout, and even the entrance of the "golden local" boy, who was lucky with one guy in his career has done nothing here.
  20. Isn't it great what good Oline coaches will do for a team, vs. having the "local boy" with a rep just because he was Anthony Munoz coach at one time. Hell Kevin Gilbride could have been Munoz's coach and he still would have made the HOF.
  21. Snore.
  22. He has an avatar? I don't see it.
  23. Well he was right about one thing Scott. Being Next.
  24. If only for a day. I would work a backroom deal to send the team to LA, and get a 10 million dollar cut. Retire, build a house along Pinehurst #2 and say !@#$ football, and play golf every day for the rest of my life.
  25. I read that earlier. If he and TD are still tight, it spells the end for some players and some coaches.
