The dems in droves saw this and figured why not shake things up and push a liberal repub up to piss of the core conservative bunch. To that the dems did a great job. Too bad they've now cause major strife in their own party. If they hadn't you probably would have seen a more drawn out repub contest and Hillary would have wrapped it up on Super tuesday, but no they got cute and the Clinton machine starting pushing for crosssovers to get Mccain elected.

I bought a couple of books for my daughter that I wound up reading. Interesting perspective on Alice in Wonderland. They were called "Looking Glass Wars" and "Seeing Redd" by Frank Beddor. It's written from the concept that what if Alice in Wonderland really happened and was a melding of the real world with the Wonderland World. Not the best books ever written, but just an interesting view.
