  1. Because the media and the liberals like to bash Bush and big companies. Gas prices is an easy way to blame the Admin and Exxon for all America's mismanagement of money. Personally it doesn't affect me a lot. My wife got a new car last year and went from about 22 mpg to about 32 in the new car. She drives about 20 miles to work so gas costs are similar. Me, I drive all of about 5 miles round trip each day. I fill up with my running around golf, kid activity, etc..) about every 2 weeks. So we spend maybe an extra 30-40 dollars from a year ago.
  2. Sure it gets old, but "good governments" make partnerships with local businesses. Hell in my neighborhood we still have feeder lines for elec and cable that are still above ground. The local elec, cable and phone wanted to bury them. So the county signed off, as long as they paid for the upgrade of new sewage and water lines through our section. So we now get buried elec, phone, cable, and an upgraded sewage and water lines, all paid for out of corporate dollars, no tax money at all to upgrade. Look lower taxes, and upgraded infrastructure. It can be done.
  3. You see those things I bolded? Those are or's. We cannot do all of them. Pick one? Any one. Which do you choose to ignore. Which is the most important? BTW, you realize this admin is sending a lot more money to Africa for AIDS then the previous. You also realize that the cost of the "Iraq War" includes a large chuck of DOD money that would have been spent on DOD, regardless, and therefore the "cost savings" are not nearly as much as you believe. Of course your little cut and paste doesn't take into account how much more unstable the oil/gas market would be. You don't know what the cost of oil would be if we didn't go. You don't know what Saddam would have done by now. You don't know that he wouldn't have started another war in Iran, and had some WMD's from one side or other that made the markets even more unstable and more costly. You don't know that Iran wouldn't have felt even more pressure to finish a nuke to protect themselves from Saddam who has shown he is willing to gas people.
  4. Wrong, He said and she said, he never punched her just a push. http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/10727882
  5. For a million. I was responding to chef.
  6. Before or after the Mayflower vans show up?
  7. I posted in the Obama Heuissin breach thread, but you know the contractors worked for Obama's foreign advisors company right? That's right, Obama's people were looking at Hussins and Mccains records.
  8. Oh look his passport info was looked at by one of his own advisors people. Maybe Obama and advisor were trying to see if there was anything in the records that might come out public later on. Ooops. http://washingtontimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/a.../103780411/1001
  9. But this is the same guy who was making such a big deal of Mccain misspeaking when stating Sunni vs.s Shiite. Those in glass houses should not cast stones.
  10. Yes, that's why I was asking WTF he was referring to.
  11. Yeah, drudge still doesn't have the mccain or wicked witch breach posted there. The news wires have had it for an hour now.
  12. Sorry he was ranting for 20 minutes before it hit drudge. But it was another 30 minutes before it hit a mojor news service.
  13. Ask the hedd man. He was ranting for a good hour before it was posted on any news service. Even as a breaking news item. I guess he is on the official messiah, protect me at all costs mailing list.
  14. Hey, the messiahs breach was posted before it even hit any news service. Why wait on the witch and the lib wanna be? The assumption had to be that everyone probably in power has had their info breached, but everyone was making such a bnig deal over the messaihs. Why? What is he covering up? Trup to Afghanistan on 9/9/01? Little boy tours in bangkok? Cuban visits? Iraqi visits? Seems like a lot of outrage for one but not the rest.
  15. I guess covering up for the messiah and his indecent travel is one thing, but lets have different standard for the wicked witch. http://wcbstv.com/politics/obama.passport....h.2.682052.html Again, Obama gets the outrage from the liberals but everyone it's okay or not a big news story.
  16. You don't live down here I guess. Sure traffic is bad, especially on holiday friday evenings. But you deal with it and take secondary roads. Much better to take 15 minutes extra to get to the mall than to have no job and no future. BTW, if you live outside the beltway, traffic really is no worse then any other suburban area.
  17. Allegedly. Again, you don't know what happened. Just what was the charges. It could in fact have been assault but without a witness the police only filed harrassment charges. Again, both are still "innocent".
  18. In Buffalo or down here. Hell we've got so much government/military jobs moving into mine and several surrounding counties, there won't be enough folks to fill them in 3 years.
  19. You'd be surprised. Suburb, 30 miles out of DC and a lot more jobs than in Bufflo/Erie County. you can get a 6000 SQft home with another 2000 in a finished basement with a lot of upgrades for that price right now. And the salaries and jobs to support it if you want.
  20. It's about 1/2 of that for a million dollar house here.
  21. Why didn't he just release his passport with the rest of any financials, like he wants Hillary to do? Hell that should all be public record for anyone running for president.
  22. What did Obama do now that he making Clinton, Bush, Mccain the fall guy for?
  23. Was wilson convicted? Or are you judge and jury and it isn't alleged?
  24. Yes he was arrested the second time. Simple search helps you out. http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=whitner+a...ss&ei=UTF-8
