  1. Its on McDermott.  For a man who preaches accountability he isnt taking any.  He's done a lousy job and clearly has absolutely no idea how to field a defense that can stop anything at the end of the game.  We have lost 4 games on final drive and very easily could have lost Giants game if not for the hold in the end zone not being called and the bucs game if Godwin saw the fb  (speaking of that when was last time a hail mary pass hit the ground on touched by secondary?)   Instead of  giving his franchise qb a shot at getting into fg range he wants to win with the defense that never holds the lead at the end . What a tool

I have to let go of some of the emotion by reminding myself that it is a game being played for entertainment, and I’m not even playing in it. I have more important things to take so intensely and personally. Yeah, it sucks, and something will happen (or not). I just hope we realize this team’s potential.

For now, I have a college basketball team that is going to get a little more of my focus. There are other things out there. I’ve been at this too long to let it make me crazy.

We'll revisit thoughts once we have another off season to go through and Sean is still here to screw us in 2024

The 20/20 is we should have trusted our eyes after 13 seconds and not wasted more time. These top players don’t stay great forever and we are going to lose Diggs. And truthfully I don’t even blame him. If McDermott couldn’t win that game with the lead and 13 ***** seconds left, he’s never going to. You aren’t going ti have 30 point leads against the good teams in the playoffs. We almost lost the colts game and the dolphins 3rd string QB playoff game. This guy isn’t it. Move on. Stop wasting everyone’s time. We know it’s over. This is who he is.

Thank you very much for ending the drought. That’s not sarcasm. I truly appreciate it and I’ll always have love for the guy for fixing the mess he walked into. But we have bigger places to go and he isn’t going ti be the one that takes us there. Please, please stop wasting years.

He doubled down this year with more last minute losses than most teams have in many seasons let alone 2/3rds of one  We still got 5 more games for him to add to his total of colossal let downs

  4. McDermott for calling the same soft zone with a lead he always calls expecting a different result.    2017 feels like a lifetime  ago Sean .  Tigers dont change stripes he will continue to call dumb ass time outs and not make adjustments after the half

I dont understand this fear of interception as a rationale for taking a knee. I mean isn’t there a risk like that whenever a QB throws a pass. To me this is all part of McD’s loser mentality.

he had Allen throw 51 times that game and carry it 9 more including 3rd down conversions repeatedly while trying to run clock on 1st and 2nd down yet didnt trust him there shows you who McDermott is

What happens to our roster if McD gets fired and we make a defensive switch? We most likely have to shift out of a lot of the lightweight lbs and zone (only) CBs, at least we have Elam 😃 and R. Douglas looks good. I’m just not ready to go defense heavy in another draft, and our team really needs a WR 2! Like badly! Blocking well isn’t a main qualification for a WR 2 in the NFL. Having said that god I hope we have a different defense on the field come training camp!

you can keep the scheme and gradually shift  Start with playing your best defensive guys on more snaps instead of yielding to "fresh" jags  Maybe figure out  how to stop a offense at least once in a while at the end of the game

It's one thing to have Mahomes, Hurts or Burrow do that to you.  It's a special level of ineptitude to watch the defense be so completely helpless against the likes of washed-up Russ, Mac Jones, Zach Wilson, Tyrod Taylor and Baker Mayfield in those critical moments.

why McDermott needs to be shown the door  Roster has what he asked for.   Rotation of d linemen vs getting Allen more help and a offense that gets a lead and he cant hold one  Ever!

  8. nothing more he could  Offense put up points in the pouring rain on the road and being asked to kill clock by their head coach the final drives on early downs putting them in third and longs which they made.  Special teams laid a huge egg and the defense again didnt come up with stops when asked. McDermott clearly still values his defense more than  Josh.  Proof is killing the clock with 20 seconds left in the game and opting for OT instead of giving his offense the go ahead to at least try to hit a big gain and have a chance at a FG attempt to win He clearly decides this before they even get the ball by wasting time outs "icing" the kicker  Which you would think after Denver he would not do again  Why not let the eagles have to rush their unit on for a 59 yarder in the rain.  I'm sorry but our head coach is not a smart man and that is that

I’m fine with moving on from McD, but there better be a plan as to his replacement when he’s canned.  We don’t have time for someone to learn on the job.  I’d even be fine with bringing McD back next year if the preferred replacement is currently unavailable, with the idea that McD hires a DC, lets the OC (probably Brady, at this point) do his thing, and simply is the HC.

none of that will happen  McDermott will dig in even more with his over management style

  10. Basically we are at the point where the qb has to not only produce huge numbers also be the run game but also be perfect to win . That includes eating up plays running into a wall to eat clock to keep the defense on the sideline  .  Without Josh last night its a one sided blowout  With McDermott coaching it still is a loss no matter what.  They were supposed to relieve some of the burden by building a running game and somehow there is more on the qb's plate

how many first down drives and 3rd down conversion were negated in the 1st have repeatedly trying to run up the gut after

announcers saying thats the strength of the philly O-line. ?   I know the first drive we hit 3rd down, dorsey takes over and we go no where up the gut.'

next drive 3rd down, Dorsey comes back and we go no where again up the gut.

that was mcdermott  He asking the offense to eat clock rest his defense

I’m not a McDermott Basher but the fact is the ravens made better second half adjustments

We had them completely shut down in the first half

they made adjustments  McDermott didnt  Its been a fairly common theme

McDermott is not getting fired this offseason unfortunately; not after having a signed a contract extension this past offseason.  He’ll get a pass b/c of all the injuries on D this year.  He needs to find a really good D coordinator this offseason and pass those duties off his plate.

be same result  Control freak Sean will overide the DC in key moments  Only way were winning w McDermott is if Bean goes all offense and we simply score 45 a game
