if you subtract the turnovers the defense is bottom 5 Turnovers tend to be fluky especially fumbles Feels like we were very lucky this season in terms of recoveries of opponent fumbles and our own

when it counts the Chiefs put their players in better position to succeed . When they need it either Reid called a play that works without asking the players to do anything crazy or Spagnolo called something that wrecked the Bills play call. Chiefs offense made it look easy barring the fumble and the occasional penalty There were maybe two or three snaps where a Bills defender ruined the play Its lack of preparation or plain stubborness

Basically we need to find a " Josh Allen" on defense and we'll be set That will make up for soft zone with small slow players and a passive HC who would rather lose close by death of a tiny cuts than go for the win.

Chiefs had a good game plan and made adjustments Bills did not. Mahomes ran constantly yet we never adjusted In clutch situations again the offense reverted to here Josh figure it out I wish someone did hire Joe Brady

Bills dug their own hole with bad coaching All those QB sneaks when the Chiefs kept stopping it Not challenging some of the very questionable spots Some of the ridiculous play calls Too many wasted downs put the offense it bad spots On defense at some point they needs to adjust to contain Mahomes I mean how many times were they going to let him get the edge to his right Not once did anyone step and hem him back in. Coaching staff is bush league Brady's offense is like 8 plays Maybe in 10 years we'll figure out how to run a screen pass to slow down a pass rush Game was very winnable Chiefs O line isn't even good and we let two 5 8" 160 lb wrs run all over the place unimpeded We made washed up JuJu look good Chiefs got 32 and its 40 without the fumble and they averaged 24 during the regular season And the refs didn't even have to help them much

Well his defense hasn't held a lead ever when it counted at the end and the 13 seconds it possibly the worst end of game collapse ever in playoff history Guess we run it back next year and it ends again in the divisional or conference championship and we'll rationalize he gets another year to figure it out This "process" seems to be taking a very long time I feel like the Bills are in Groundhog Day

I keep the two separate I enjoy the season and the fact that on most weeks the Bills put on a show and win. Plus were watching a once in a lifetime thing w Josh But.... I wish we'd could get past the Chiefs and take the next step. The thought of Josh playing out a career on the Bills without bringing at least one SB trophy is very depressing.

Brady needs to learn to scheme up game/opponent specific plays. Nothing we ran against the Chiefs was new and once they figured out the QB sneak he had nothing else to turn to. Be nice to see guys running across the field wide open once in a blue moon Bills run game saved the day this year. Especially in the red zone Passing game was a huge step back No clue what to do w MVS He leaves and all of a sudden can make plays? Samuel was non existent much of the year. Cooper went games without a target This everybody eats crap sucks

this is an issue as well because the bills (especially on D) love to draft players off of potential

Lets be honest the defense doesn't have elite talent on any of the three levels The corners struggle with man lacking makeup speed. The safeties are awful , everytime they blitzed Hamlin I cringed We went from a strength of the team when Poyer and Hyde were in their prime to the weakest link. Linebackers are meh Milano is above average to elite when healthy but he's getting up there and like Ferrari always in the shop. The DL is too small and Von needed to retire 3 years ago But these are McDermotts choice to run the "system" he favors We need a game wrecker on defense that the opposing offense has to game plan for Closest we have is Oliver who will whip up on some matchup during the season for one or two games
