https://twitter.com/mtracey/status/1714138050031198583?t=ow23I3QnUJAuWomLEG1ZMw&s=19 Amazing stuff... the US, UK, France, and Japan just voted *against* a UN Security Council resolution on Gaza calling for: -- "An immediate, durable, and fully respected humanitarian ceasefire" -- "Secure release of all hostages" -- "Safe evacuation of civilians" -- "Unimpeded provision and distribution of humanitarian assistance" The resolution further emphasizes that both "the Israeli and Palestinian civilian population must be protected," and "strongly condemns all violence and hostilities directed against civilians and all acts of terrorism" But, it was drafted by Russia and supported by China -- so of course had to be intrinsically Bad Can't make it up. -

Host Scott Pelley asked Biden “Are the wars in Israel and Ukraine more than the United States can take on at the same time?” Biden replied, “We’re the United States of America for God’s sake! The most powerful nation in the history, not in the (world), in the history of the world! The history of the world!” He continued to blather, “We can take care of both of these and still maintain our overall international defense. We have the capacity to do this and we have an obligation to. We are the essential nation, to, to paraphrase the former secretary of State. And if we don’t who does?” It seems Biden was attempting to quote Madeline Albright, who said in 1998 that America is the “indispensable nation.” Since when did the U.S. have “an obligation” to fight foreign wars? In the same interview, Biden also declared that he’s sure he wants to serve a second term in order to achieve world peace: Elsewhere during the interview, Biden labelled ‘MAGA’ supporters ‘anti-democracy’ Meanwhile, Donald Trump criticised Biden for his inept mismanagement of the situation in Afghanistan. “I wish Biden were doing a great job even though that would be very hard politically as opposed to the worst job,” Trump said in an interview. “But I wish he was doing a phenomenal job even if it meant that, most likely, you wouldn’t be elected or whatever,” Trump continued, adding “But he is doing the worst job in the history of our country. You talk about the border, you talk about anything. You talk about Afghanistan. There’s never been a more embarrassing period of time in our country’s history than what took place in Afghanistan. There was no reason for that. You don’t take the military out first.” “He’s the worst president in history, the most corrupt president in history, and the most incompetent president by far. He can’t even get off the stage, and can’t put two sentences together,” Trump added. https://summit.news/2023/10/16/video-biden-says-u-s-has-an-obligation-to-be-involved-in-wars-in-israel-and-ukraine/

but they together make a false Dilemma, False Dichotomy, false Binary. IE, Propaganda A false dilemma, also referred to as false dichotomy or false binary, is an informal fallacy based on a premise that erroneously limits what options are available. The source of the fallacy lies not in an invalid form of inference but in a false premise. This premise has the form of a disjunctive claim: it asserts that one among a number of alternatives must be true. This disjunction is problematic because it oversimplifies the choice by excluding viable alternatives, presenting the viewer with only two absolute choices when in fact, there could be many. . In fiscal year 2022, about 46% of people were granted asylum1. In fiscal year 2020, the overall grant rate for all asylum cases closed was 19.12%, but if only grants and denials were considered, the asylum grant rate would be 26%2. In fiscal year 2018, asylum was granted in 16% of cases that originated from a credible fear claim3. In FY 2020, asylum was granted just 26.3% of the time https://www.statista.com/statistics/247064/individuals-granted-asylum-in-the-us-by-country-of-nationality/ https://trac.syr.edu/immigration/reports/judgereports/ the USA asylum grant rate is low with much larger percentage being denied. even in sanctuary cities.

Seems like just yesterday you were defending the use of other illegal weapons like cluster munitions and spent uranium. Did human rights also point out that none of the terrorist used helmets on the motor bikes or little airplanes while slaughtering civilians (war crime) -
