  1. maybe it's saturation? They've flooded the market so much that people just want a break from stuff that doesn't really apply to the team they care about.
  2. If McDermott can hang some level of misinformation or will he do something or not for a game he might as well be a ground hog and the Titans DC will just have to see if he sees his shadow on the day of.
  3. makes sense he was just trying to do what was necessary.
  4. That was a pretty even handed if rather forgiving message for Jerry.
  5. It feels like such a tone deaf thing to say after what the Brady era Patriots did and how things are going with the current Chiefs. Like WTF are you talking about it's better to have a strong division.
  6. Yes because what Bass needs is more pressure, I'd think this is more for if he completely collapses.
  7. I mean there would have been room.
  8. I'd say there was a possibility for the WR room to work but it was too thin to sustain the injuries that it has. Samuel taking an arrow to a toe tragically makes me think we never even got to see what it was supposed to look like. But beyond that the whole everyone eats thing relies on everyone being at their best to stretch the defense. But a hobbled Samuel and then Shakir is out then coming back from injury so defenses can focus on a rookie WR who has had some moments but that's an awful big ask, and if it's not him it's the legion of average and the plan was never to ask them to do that much. Big reason why this trade is so nice is Cooper doesn't even have to be as great as he's been just good and we can stretch teams out some more.
  9. I mean it's a pretty iffy argument to make what with the age difference when they got here but there is an argument to be made that Cooper does have 6 1000+ yard seasons with some pretty hit or miss QB play to Diggs 2 before getting here.
  10. McDermott isn't going to tell anyone what they're going to do, even if there's a giant Billboard with flashing lights saying of course they're going to do this. Beane will absolutely deceive people on what the plan is but when something is really obvious he's far less likely to play coy unless he's being sarcastic or making a joke.
  11. He also said that about the one on Josh, and maybe it's a combination of the slowness of the replay and bias but, the balls out don't throw the QB to the ground that's just stupid.
  12. Might as well earn those ridiculous PF flags they gave us.
  13. It's an interesting situation, he's been really good but due to team situation he's never really been that guy that really stands out across the league as a WR. Now at 30 he might just have a narrow window to do something insane.
  14. People are reading way too much into it, 1 all off season and into the season they've been preaching this "everyone eats" philosophy so it'd be weird for him to just completely flip on that. 2. We didn't even get to see what the question was in that article only some answers, a pretty loaded question can get a response that looks a certain way. 3. It really is important to integrate the guy into the team and the WR room.
  15. Joe Marino is right, he might miss a kick or two, but I'd rather have that right now than have nobody and desperately pick up a guy that misses 3 or 4. Always better to have a plan.
  16. No he looked better than in his limited time before, he wasn't hitting the whole fast enough. Sometimes there's nothing there but you still need to hit the hole and get the 2-3 yards you can instead of a loss, he did that last night. What was really great was he also looked like a great compliment to what Cook brings, he really laid some hits on guys.
  17. There were a few plays where they had some crazy luck, like I swear Rodgers somehow got away with fitting a pass between a defenders cheeks.
  18. Jets just going to duck tape Roders to hold him together and go all in as the season continues to get away from them. Not seeing much of a long term plan at all.
  19. Yeah he's definitely not consistent and they need to address the problem if they can, but you don't just drop a guy that does make a decent number of his kicks without a plan to replace him.
  20. I loved at the start of the game how they took Josh mentioning he'd had some bad throws that could have been picked to mean that Josh could have had 5-6 picks this season.....like WTF?
  21. Yeah he was good, had been thinking he'd look better in the previous weeks with what he'd get but he be too hesitant. Today even when there wasn't really anything there he'd hit the hole and get the yard or two that was there and that matters.
  22. If the game ends because of that pick it would be a relief, these refs have made this game ***** miserable, a win because of an athletic play would be an amazing twist.
