  1. Which means he might just be done, if he's out for the season can't see him getting the job back with the Browns and they're going to want to find a way to get clear of that contract as soon as they can. Question is does somewhere else take him.....I mean Adam Gase got hired as a head coach immediately after getting fired by the Dolphins so it's hard to just say no. But you'd think that no team wants the headache that comes with him for a guy that doesn't seem to have it anymore.
  2. Was going to say with the 2 SB matchups game got bought out just like Bills-KC does every year after the coinflip game. If that's what happened and that's a season ending injury that's probably all she wrote on him starting for the Browns......does he do a tour around the league as a ***** backup?
  3. New look offense looked good against a very good defense once it got going, and that's after only a short week of Cooper getting acclimated. Could be a lot of fun especially if the rookie keeps looking like he did at the end there building his confidence.
  4. That seems more likely than us reshuffling the WR room a second time, especially when the results seem
  5. 6'5" 240lbs can run a bit does not = Josh Allen.
  6. But how do we get it inside the human skull... We just need to modify the score board a little.
  7. and everyone watching is going to feel real great about this....oh that's right it's entertainment so if him playing with his potential life destroying easily occurring brain injury makes us all uncomfortable maybe don't.
  8. maybe it's saturation? They've flooded the market so much that people just want a break from stuff that doesn't really apply to the team they care about.
  9. If McDermott can hang some level of misinformation or will he do something or not for a game he might as well be a ground hog and the Titans DC will just have to see if he sees his shadow on the day of.
  10. makes sense he was just trying to do what was necessary.
  11. That was a pretty even handed if rather forgiving message for Jerry.
  12. It feels like such a tone deaf thing to say after what the Brady era Patriots did and how things are going with the current Chiefs. Like WTF are you talking about it's better to have a strong division.
  13. Yes because what Bass needs is more pressure, I'd think this is more for if he completely collapses.
  14. I mean there would have been room.
  15. I'd say there was a possibility for the WR room to work but it was too thin to sustain the injuries that it has. Samuel taking an arrow to a toe tragically makes me think we never even got to see what it was supposed to look like. But beyond that the whole everyone eats thing relies on everyone being at their best to stretch the defense. But a hobbled Samuel and then Shakir is out then coming back from injury so defenses can focus on a rookie WR who has had some moments but that's an awful big ask, and if it's not him it's the legion of average and the plan was never to ask them to do that much. Big reason why this trade is so nice is Cooper doesn't even have to be as great as he's been just good and we can stretch teams out some more.
  16. I mean it's a pretty iffy argument to make what with the age difference when they got here but there is an argument to be made that Cooper does have 6 1000+ yard seasons with some pretty hit or miss QB play to Diggs 2 before getting here.
  17. McDermott isn't going to tell anyone what they're going to do, even if there's a giant Billboard with flashing lights saying of course they're going to do this. Beane will absolutely deceive people on what the plan is but when something is really obvious he's far less likely to play coy unless he's being sarcastic or making a joke.
  18. He also said that about the one on Josh, and maybe it's a combination of the slowness of the replay and bias but, the balls out don't throw the QB to the ground that's just stupid.
  19. Might as well earn those ridiculous PF flags they gave us.
  20. It's an interesting situation, he's been really good but due to team situation he's never really been that guy that really stands out across the league as a WR. Now at 30 he might just have a narrow window to do something insane.
  21. People are reading way too much into it, 1 all off season and into the season they've been preaching this "everyone eats" philosophy so it'd be weird for him to just completely flip on that. 2. We didn't even get to see what the question was in that article only some answers, a pretty loaded question can get a response that looks a certain way. 3. It really is important to integrate the guy into the team and the WR room.
  22. Joe Marino is right, he might miss a kick or two, but I'd rather have that right now than have nobody and desperately pick up a guy that misses 3 or 4. Always better to have a plan.
