Don't know if it's a continued thing, or if it's that first play of the game where an uncalled penalty of the defender hitting him in the head and potentially hyper extending his neck.

Josh extends season Passing and Rushing TD in the same game record as he does. I understand the thought if we don't punch it in on 2nd down there we want time to still get 7 instead of just 3 to tie it plus McDermott trusted the to stop them. Retrospectively with how easily we got in didn't really need it probably better not to.

That's an interesting decision to make, on the one hand that's a pretty big risk going for it just outside your own redzone, but 3rd and 22 is pretty good odds to get a better 4th down but they could convert.
