Because you're dead wrong.  That's why it's so funny.

We had the assets to get the QB all along.  Our head coach passed on Watson AND Mahomes.

If we had re-signed Woods, we would have had Watson/Mahomes in 2017 passing to Watkins, Woods, Zay, with Richie, Wood, Glenn, Darby, Hyde, Poyer, Dareus, Hughes, Kyle, Dawkins, Milano.

Acting like this FO "got it right" trading everyone from the 2016 team away, just to get assets to try to replace them is hilarious.

He hadn't even been the coach for 6 months when that draft happened. Drafting a QB with your #1 pick is huge and you want to do your research before you make that choice. Also the GM who was replaced right after the draft would have a huge say in it.

..Rodak (COUGH) recommended trading Shady and Benjamin.....you've been "beatin' to the punch".....I'm sure the offerings would be huge, almost resembling a bidding affair....a 30 yr old RB owed $12+ mil over the next two years would be high demand stuff...HINT: AP signed with the Deadskins for $1.05 million.......

I think it might be too late for Benjamin I can't remember the last positive thing written about him this season so I don't know who'd even want him.

    It's the smart move.

I get that at the same time they've been insisting this isn't a tanking season and they're trying to win. Trading away Shady for draft picks right now would be awfully hard to explain to the locker room that you're still trying to win this year.

    Ugh. Hard pass.

Who in their right mind wants to watch everyone and everything they've ever loved or cared for crumble into the dust of distant eternity????? !@#$ing horrible idea.

Yeah that would probably be one of the worst experiences possible but I mean just living 1000 years and that's more than 10 generations. At a certain point you'll get used to it and see the world in a way normal life spanned humans can't. It also really depends on what you believe happens after because if you get reunited with everyone on the other side that's hard to say no to. Other than that it would be tempting to see where humanity ends up.

The first play was a deep shot.

But otherwise I agree with your whole post. WTF was Daboll thinking calling a QB draw on 3rd and 22 or so though?! trying to get Josh injured for no reason? I understand if it's an important down or chance for first but that was mental.

That one for whatever reason felt like they were tying to get in position to pin them back with the punt.

Holmes is an embarrassment for not coming back to that ball. KB is still looking unmotivated as usual. Our TE's are quiet. This poor kid is going to have to throw to RBS out of the backfield for the rest of the season. Our defense looks very good. Spend the ENTIRE draft & FA on OFFENSE!

Yeah that 1st down he almost prevented did not look pretty.
