This isn't picking a nit, it's an important thing to know about the justice system. No one is ever "proven innocent" in a court of law. They are found "not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt".
It's in the instructions given to every jury in every criminal trial.
Yeah it'd be weird for him to be proven innocent and then found civilly liable.

But now who will continue the search for the real killer?

My thinking is that by fleeing the accident he did save himself the DUI charges that he allegedly could have had otherwise. It REEKS of being circumstantial he was partying when this all went down
So he did get over on that. How much penalty he saved himself by doing that is an interesting thought.
Some random people on twitter reacting to the story suggested they removed a firearm which that could be wild speculation, but they are in Texas, and from when they tried to give Ed Oliver that DUI having a firearm in the vehicle while committing a crime is another misdemeanor not sure how that's worse than leaving the scene of an accident.

One would think, but when you're wealthy and can afford the best attorneys, you get all kinds of stuff like the Kansas City prosecuting attorney accepting a plea deal from Britt Reid for 4 years (commuted by the Governor after 16 months) because they were afraid they wouldn't win in court and get the 7 years he could have faced.....
I'm just thinking that a bunch of the charges will get dropped on some technicalities unearthed by a crack legal team or due to quiet offers to settle with the injured parties who will then stop cooperating with police and ask that the charges be dropped. Then he'll be offered a plea deal.
KC isn't the team to give up on a rookie who had 938 yds and 79 receptions, just 'cuz of a felony charge, or two, or eight.
Yeah I definitely never count out the rich/powerful/or adjacent to it from getting bailed out trouble the rest of us wouldn't, on a positive note he's not in trouble in the same State or district as the team he plays for.
Maybe could plea down to lesser charges, it's hard to see this not being serious though with how aggressive they went at him though.

Because it's clear the young guy behind him has potential, is cheaper, and younger, and we already have played like two seasons without him for significant portions anyways.
This isn't accurate across his entire career Milano has missed 19/115 games and that's including end of the season games where he's a healthy scratch because seeding was already decided. As for Williams his potential to fit in a similar way is nice but that's about all it is at this point just us talking about it, which isn't something I'd like to rely on.
-
Started to see Milano and Bernard becoming a terrifying duo last year why would we want to see that again, I just don't get some of these ideas.

I wonder how many "stick" after Rice's best lawyers get on it?
I mean the injuries are going to be based on Doctor's diagnosis right, he rented one car owns the other is on camera.......🤷♂️

What a joke that a teams fans lose the home opener to the season. Absolute let down.
I mean that's one way to look at it, on the other hand they get this weird travel game out of the way right off the bat then the next home game will really be their opener.

It's weird that there's all this coverage of him with his movie star girlfriend who by nature of who she is always gets pictures taken of her whether she wants to or not, or him playing golf at televised events you know literally things with cameras or that YouTube personality whose whole point is to get noticed.....strange.
But CJ Stroud's offseason work is getting so much notice almost as if this is the first offseason he's had that isn't the rookie season run up, it's his first real offseason he has control of.
43 minutes ago, Buffalo_Stampede said:No. Now why did you have to call me out at the end. The thread started out as a question during the offseason after Josh Allen himself said he doesn’t do as much as he use to.
The thread wasn’t a joke. People being sensitive that I would ask the question made it a joke. I took Josh Allen’s own words and asked how people felt about it. Simple as that.
Josh said it clear as day. He use to throw 4 times a week and now it’s more about relaxing. He also said he comes back to Buffalo to get in shape.
How much Allen does away from Buffalo in the offseason is up for debate. The fact is he says he does less now than before.
This is just ridiculous, so many veteran players have said that a major part of the offseason is figuring when to ramp up things to transition into the season, it's not that confusing a concept. I mean even at the end of season press conference he said he felt his mechanics had gotten to real good place after recovering from his injury and that he wanted to maintain that. In his first 6 seasons in the NFL no one has more TDs than Josh what are expecting him to learn as a thrower to teleport the football? What do people want him to watch more film because there's never going to be any photoshoots on that.
Getting together with his WRs is nice but there always seems to be a limited number of times they do that and he's not likely to know who that all is until after the draft, wouldn't be surprised if we got 2 new faces

Made me enjoy his story, guys an incredible heel.
Guy who made the video might be like an actual monster though just a disclaimer, not that there's anything in the video, just something that you go "well *****." when you read the YouTube comments after watching a video.

No. I reported this in the original Diggs trade thread:
He really was just a distraction and a nuisance. Why do you think we are paying more to get off the team? You think Beane is just buying into media rumors?
I mean if that's true that story alone pretty much feels like enough for them to want him off the team, because that's an insane thing to do in a game that could essentially determine if we make the playoffs or not with only a 6 point lead.

This video says it all, as far as I'm concerned.
https://youtu.be/JdyG_pPfSIU?si=sIzIch0Q1wSJVqt-What's really annoying is on that first play Allen is looking to get it to Diggs forever and has to move off since he's not open, when he finally just has to get rid of it he's on Gabe and Diggs suddenly pops open, it's just salt in the wound of the play.

Allen without Diggs 3-1 against the Dolphins, probably 4-0 if Clay caught that damn ball.

Paying for the car, going into a "rehabilitation seminar" (2 hour sit-in seminar that amounts to nothing), taking a defensive driving course and getting suspended for 1 game is my guess as the punishment.
Pretty much guarantees he was the one driving it, not just because he was the only one that was supposed to, but come on you rent that car you're the one that's going to ***** drive it.
Also just incredible that he seems to somehow be practically responsible on both sides of this race he was most definitely driving the rented car and owned the other car, and what are the odds that this went something like "Hey I rented this fast car can you drive my car and we can race?" if it wasn't the entire purpose in the first place.
