1. maybe houston's lo-ine is as bad as ours but none are worse...it wouldn't matter if it was losman, bledose holcomb joe montana or michael vick back thereanyoen would have gotten killed today.

and you could use an hour glass to measure the tiem brady had back there.

the bills really out to get rid of tons of players and coaching and managment and start off like the near expansion team we are

  2. look around the league -- good teams with good offenses regularly call play action passes on first and goal. it's a very safe play at least in theory, and 1st down is the time to do it.  the point of the game is to score as many points as possible, which is what the bills were trying to do. it's not a "trick" play and isn't unsound.

moreover, if the play had succeeded, would anyone here have complained about it as bad playcalling? not likely. i had certain problems with the actual pass play called, but part of that was a function of the lack of a capable tight end on the roster.  you can't blame mularkey for that.  but in any event, the receiver was open and it should have been a td. all the complainers also seem to be forgetting the problems the bills have had moving the ball on the ground inside the 20 because of the crappy run blocking.

geez - i feel like this board is haunted by the ghost of woody hayes, who said this immortal line many moons ago: "only three things can happen with the forward pass, and two of them are bad."

give me a break. run the ball fall down three times for minus two yards each time and kick a field goal and we would have a hthree touch down lead. or willis would have scored. it was aterrible call. word is out on mularkey and clemenst thatghey like to be tricky, and fool nobody. just because you run doesnt mean they know where you are goin g to run. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. he was at the game..told me there were 20-25k BIlls fans there....what an absolute embarassment...I hate this team more and more each week...1st and Goal at the 3 and we pass with a 23-3 lead...lol...trained monkeys could call a bteer game...anyone looking for a NE ticket...will trade it for a Bic Pen or handfull of paper clips...

You hoit the nail on the head. we could fall down three times and kick a filed goal from there and we win. Clements and MM are idiots who believ it is important to trick the opponent onm every play.

  4. 1. How about running mcgahee somewhere other than up the middle.

    2. why the $#@! would you pass witha rookie qb near the goal line with an 18 point lead? a fg would havesealed it@!

    3. why, when blitzes work all game would you go into a prevent when our front four are exhausted?

you guys suck and have let the team and fans down (as usual)

now on to next year--players to be let go:

    clements

    moulds

    adams

    williams

too much money for too little production!

  5. A weak arm was the biggest reason why Joe Montana was available in the 3rd round. Anyway, Holcomb's arm looked fine to me when he was throwing that nice long TD pass to Moulds.

    492987

EXACTLY RIGHT. I'd rathr have a weak armed qb who can actually getthe damn ball to our receivers. who do you think the entire offense would rather have playing qb? that being said, since we are going to get killed teh rest of teh season i'mok with seeing if jp will show improvment or not by letting himplay out the string. i'd rather get a high draft pick. on the other hand NE is going to get killed next week so we are not out of it ac east chase.

  6. It's not like either Favre or Limbaugh went out to some street corner looking for coke. They both had medical conditions which required pain pills. I've had a conversation with a doctor about the Limbaugh situation, and some people are easily addicted to pain pills. (The doctor in question thinks Limbaugh is a loudmouth who oversimplifies and distorts his opponents' point of view.) Medically, an addiction is an addiction, whether it be someone who smokes, or who needs coffee in the morning to function, or who is addicted to pain pills, or who is addicted to crack. But on a social level, there's a huge difference between a guy who becomes addicted to medicine he's taking for legitimate purposes, and someone who seeks out illegal recreational narcotics.

PLEASE! YEAH THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. ONE IS THE MODE FAVORED BY WHITE GUYS AND THE OTHER BY (SOME) BLACK GUYS.

  7. Tedy had a little brain aneurism, and he got it fixed.  He just had to lie there in the hospital while some surgeon fixed his heart, and he soon got a clean bill of health!

Now, McGahee, well, his knee was shredded by that Buckeye, and some people thought he'd never walk again, let alone become a pro football player.  He worked his arse off for a long long time.

My vote goes to Willis.  I say, next time the Bills are on National TV, we should fillibuster for some props for my man McGahee.

I don't even know what I'm talking about, just offering a point of view that isn't necessarily mine.

    492377

Yeah McGahee also had the disadvantage of not being a "blue collar" or "high motor" or "hard working" type of player like Teddy . In other words: he isn't white. Hence Travis Henry and Marion Barry care cokeheads, while Brett Favre and Rush Limbaugh "bravely faced their addiction."

  8.  A 55 yard pass is completed to Moulds; after that play not one pass attempt over 5 yards. With 4 and 7 the coward at quarterback throws a 4 yard pass; because he is such a friggin coward he is afraid of getting hit. Put anybody at QB, but cut this chicken sh-- coward Holcomb today

    490816

I assume this is a joke or you are drunk. nobody could be that much of a fooking idiot

  9. Bruschi is coming back!!!

Brady is the greatest QB ever!!!!

The Patriots won THREE SUPER BOWLS!!!!!

    ...

ESPN is having multiple orgasms tonight for the Pats.

People who aren't Bills fans probably have no idea who the Patriots are even playing tonight.

    489991

shaud is such a nice change up

  10. gotta love those announcers.  2 TDs, 1 because of a blown coverage by the Patriots and the other because of excellent execution by the Patriots

And on an incomplete pass on the FG driver earlier, Maguire said if Holcomb threw it a little higher the Patriots would have scored

    Everyone

    Sucks

    Patriot
