@SDS I work for a company that helps with email. I do see some issues with email from twobillsdrive.com that would likely cause difficulties with email. Google/Yahoo have also gotten even more strict starting back in June. Microsoft is going to implement similar measures. Yahoo also had a problem in July/Augustish that caused more emails to be marked as junk then normal (and they are just generally a PITA to begin with)

#1 thing to do since the FROM address is twobillsdrive.com is get a DMARC record in place.

There's some other stuff like getting the return path to not be for swingshiftmedia.com and DKIM in place for the forum emails, but the DMARC record is the number one priority imo. If you want some suggestions or help, I'm happy to help.

I came for the comments. They didn't disappoint. I'm dying over here guys and gals.

The blueprint is there, but they still need the players with the speed and skill set to execute that blueprint.

First comment is same reason I am here......

Bolded comment is 110% dead on true.  As fans we sure didn't expect to see the players stepping up quite like this.  Amazeballs how deep the team is right now.  But the Bills really could use a vet LB just in case someone else drops......I am champing at the bit for Bishop to get a regular role real soon......

Exactly.  That's why I would love for the Bills to take a flyer on a QB in the later rounds of the draft every few years.  Yes, you are grooming a possible replacement in case the worst happens, like an Andrew Luck situation.  However, I think the bigger reason is as an asset.  Having a young unknown QB is the best way for good teams to collect on investment.  Yes, Matt Cassel is an example and if Bellichick hadn't done Garropolo a solid and traded him to SF, he could've gotten a mind for him from Cleveland or a similar team.  Look at what we paid for Rob Johnson, or what the Seahawks paid for Matt Flynn in free agency (and what GB could've gotten for him if they still had him under contract).  Teams fall in love with backups on great teams who appear in pre-season and a few spot regular season games.  It's a great investment.  If Josh goes down, this teams going nowhere so have a backup who you could flip for some picks.  Could you imagine what we could get for Nathan Peterman if he were drafted two years ago?

You had me until the Peterpick reference.  I wish you woulda started with that and saved me the read.......

I am firmly in the “Josh Allen is a top 3 QB” camp.

But I also believe that he could be closer to the best in the NFL if he could keep his head on for an entire season.

I think he lacks maturity and mental strength. My only knocks on him since day one.

That level of maturity and mental toughness is what separates Mahomes from Allen.

Mahomes matured more quickly than Allen.

    Hence the rings.

All things considered Gugs, Mahomes had MUCH more support and MUCH better coaching Offensively than JA has EVER had.  Hence, seemingly he "matured" sooner.  Put JA in that offense with Reid and that Defense with Spags.....yeah he would have a few rings too.  IMHO thats a no brainer.  Coaching makes a HUGE difference, that and Pat was mooe polished that JA and had the benefit of sitting for a season watching how it was done.  I believe.  Correct me if I am wrong on that last statement.

Interesting comparison.  Looking at the '17 roster now, I don't know how McD got that motlely crew into the playoffs.

There is so much uncertainty in every offseason but this one more than most.  At this point in the offseason, speculating about the roster is a Rorschak Test.  I learn more about the person sharing their opinion than about the players.   I can see, for example, that Shaw is an open-minded optimist while FireChans is a doomsday curmodgeon.

There's a saying in India, "When a pick-pocket walks down the street, all he sees is pockets."  Likewise, when a hungry man in America drives down a street, all he sees is restaurants.  When a horny man drives down a street, all he sees is... well, never mind.

The optimists amongst us keep finding reasons to be optimistic.  The pessimist mafiosas keep finding reasons to grumble.  I'm a registered Independent but lean optimist.  I can easily find reasons why this year's receiving corps, OL, LBs, etc will be good.  But, in the end, I really have no freaking idea.  And as smart as all of us are, I think there's going to be some humble pie to eat by season's end.  Each year gives us surprises and this football season will be very interesting.

I'm not sure on this? $449 a year to stay home and watch 17 games.

That's roughly $25 a game... is the average person really spending less than that each time they go and watch the game at a bar?

    It's probably a wash.

Depends on the season and how much you feel the need to slam beers while having to drive home.  Last year in SoFlo I watched 12 games at home.  This year looks to be the same....

I was at the game you described in 1981 and sitting in the endzone where the guy climbed up the cables to the net as you described. Was against the Raiders and the Bills had the game until Art Thoms (Raider D line) picked up a fumble n returned for a TD with a couple minutes left in reg. Fergy won the game throwing a TD to Amhad Rashad for a great come back victory. ....... Yeah..... me n my buddies were partying hard but the guy climbing the cable made us look Einesteinesque. .... And that was hard to do!

To me the wildest part was people that were sneaking kegs into the game!!!  No crap I actually had a few beers off a keg that was snuck into the game.  Those were the daze!

  8. I was born in the Philly area.....never really latched onto the Eagles.....kinda liked the Raiders.....fast forward to me moving to Rochester NY in 1981 for college.  Many of my frat bros were Bills fans......I actually went to a monday night game once, maybe 1981? with my brothers where some A$$clown decided to climb out onto the wire holding the kicking net up.  For the life of me I can not remember who they played other than the crowd was chanting fall fall fall fall.....idiot finally made his way back to the setas are and security proceded to pummel the living crap out of him!!

Fast forward to 1985.  A work buddy was ALL over the Bills and asked me if I wanted to go to the Bills opener game, Jests I believe.  I looked at him laughed and said the bills SUX, why on earth would I wanna go to the game?  He pleaded to my inner drunk and said - "For the Tailgate"!  Good gawd if that didn't do it.  I was a single seat ticket guy for awhile....Kelly signed, I was a season ticket guy.....for 22 seasons, 10ish of them in the Kelly Club seats.....a few more single games sprinkled in after the club seats got stoopid expensive and the heated seat was a huge question mark, and then I moved to So Flo.  I walked into a bar in Sarasota in 2018 and it was snowing SIDEWAYS....I grabbed my wifes arm and I said "look honey, right there is the only snow I wanna see, is on my TV."  Havent seen any snow since 2018.  Honestly tho I have not missed one game since moving to So Flo.  Even when I was down in Key Weird, multiple times, I managed to see the games.

Like Marv said where would you rather be than right here right now???  I had a AWESOMESAUCE of a ride while I lived in Rottenchester.  I am happy I am outa there but still a BILLS fan will many many many other transplants down here with me!!!!

    GO BILLS!!!!!

Nearly half of Allen's passing TDs and yardage are gone.  It's easy to suggest that someone will replace that, it's another thing to do it.  For years we were crying about a #1 WR, got Diggs, who according to everyone made a difference, now we're expected to believe that it doesn't matter again.  LOL

Well sir I direct you to the last 8 weeks of the season where Diggs disappeared and the Bills ran an impressive wining streak with MINIMAL input from Diggs.  I am sure thats already been brought up here however.  If so I am piling on....if not.  Please refer to the second half of the 2023 season Diggs.  In all honesty Diggs is being replaced by Kincaid more than anyone else.

    Evidence?

You do realize Von Miller played in 14 games (including playoffs) last season?

It's understandable if you didn't notice that he was playing...the man was a ghost out there and finished the season with 3 tackles and no sacks.

Watching him in any of those games should be all the evidence anyone needs to know he's a washed up bum.

I would say you might, just might have a slight bias towards Mr. Miller.  It shows rather clearly.

Time will tell who is or isn't predicting his future correctly.  I agree 110% that Von looked like DOG crap last season.  But 1 year removed from a serious injury like that my expectations were very slim.  I would gather he is a proud man and will do his level best to regain some semblance of his former self.  If that happens we will all be happy, except for perhaps you with your very negative bias towards him.

Try to get over it....really, it isn't life or death ya know.

I love Odunze as much as anyone, but how do you know Coleman won't be a top 10 WR himself?  Most importantly, you do not NEED a top 10 WR, its be proven over and over and over that a top 10 WR is NOT a mandated player to be a SB champion.

Why are you and so many people wasting breath on this concept we should have traded with the Bears.  You realize the Bears had to have wanted to trade with the Bills, and they clearly didn't considering everyone and their mom knew the Bills both needed and wanted to take a WR early and the Bears didn't call Beane even once.  In fact, no team in the top 10 picks called the Bills, who again, everyone knew needed and wanted a WR, to trade back to 28.

This isn't madden where you just meet a threshold of min trade commitment and the trade is accepted.  Some of you need to get over it and just move on.  Trading up for Odunze, Nabers, or MHJ was never at any moment on the table for us as nobody had any interest to trading back to 28 that was in range to get any of those guys.

Very well said @Alphadawg7.  All points are true....and like you say, who knows where Coleman will rank out at eventually??  He does have JA17 tossing the ball to him after all!!
