Not by the looks of it in the Senior Bowl where he posted a Julian Edelman-esque 7 catches for 74 yards, one rushing carry for 14 yards, and 1 TD.

He was awful in one on ones in practice. So what his success in the game tells me is that he is a good option when others guys are pulling away the coverage. Also the game is  meaningless for the most part. Teams play generic vanilla defense and he's playing corners who aren't really good. Good luck against real NFL corners. That's all I'm saying. I'm not saying he won't succeed, but he's a #4.

  2. While Bills fans will love it, I can't really think of a more uninteresting team. Watching Josh Allen work hard on a farm, taking his vitamins, and going to church? Watch Lorax volunteering his time at a soup kitchen? Star Lotuleilei trying to convert guys to Mormonism?

The only things the show would have working for it Kim Pegula, Rachel Bush, and a dreamy Matt Milano. Oh and a drugged up naked Zay Jones.

He will almost certainly be a pure slot guy in the NFL. A deep threat out of the slot, yes, but he almost certainly will never face press coverage like Antonio does.

100% with you. Isabella got smothered on press coverage during senior bowl practices. Not really impressed by the guy's projection in the NFL. But in the right system perhaps he can make an impact. Every draft year Bills fans latch on to a wide reciever like this and I guess Isabella is the guy this year. I thought it would be Hunter Renfroe. I prefer David Sills.

  4. I kind of always felt that Beane is willing to make any move if it makes sense. I feel like he's aggressive, but kind of judicious. My opinion hasn't changed, but I feel good that he's willing to be aggressive when a really good player comes available. The general consensus in media circles is that he is willing to talk about anything, and I also like the way he moves around the draft board get the guys he wants.

That said, I am curious to see if he is able to woo the big time free agent offensive linemen we have been talking about so much. The next few weeks will certainly impact my opinion on our braintrust.

Not sure they can break bank for Williams if they are paying Solder and Zeitler that much.

And now they have no pass rush whatsoever.

Vernon's salary is higher than Zeitler's.

Yeah I get that, but they get teh dead money hit as well so it's pretty even. Its just that they now have no pass rush and a good amount of money tied into the offensive line. That's alls I'm saying.

My wife is a teacher (at a charter school though) and has definitely influenced hiring.  Not quite by saying I wouldn't work with so and so, but she told her boss a candidate would not be a good fit, and that person didn't get hired.

I think you would be surprised.

And don't get me wrong...I love my boss and I love what I do,  but personal stuff just is not taken into account where I am and I don't think it should really.

Does you boss also consistently preach a message of "family" and "culture?"

Also, where do you work???? If I even alluded to my boss that because of a serious personal disagreement with someone I couldn't work with them, that person wouldn't get hired.

Yep. I'm a teacher. We preach empathy and family, and team and all that jazz. But whatever is happening in my personal life is not considered to be any part of my professional life.

I hear what you are saying, I'm just saying that the world doesn't care about people's personal problems any more.

I would love to see how the Message Board tough guys would react if their wives stepped out on them and then they had to go to work with them every day.

I guess this is meant for me, but my point is simply, if that did happen to me, my boss would not give a rat's ass.
