Clapp will end up replacing Greg Mancz on the PS..
I can see them drafting both Tackle and a development C in Rounds 4-5…
60 is an awkward spot to get a T … the Top ones are long gone, and then the value ones don’t really start to middle third …
Totally agree- 1

Good clapping hands that it’s maybe less likely we feel a need to draft a C in Round 1 or 2
I think there is a Zero percent chance they draft IOL in the first two rounds. Whether they added Clapp or not. It’s just not their MO. The only way I could see it is of one of those top tackles are sitting around at the end of round two and could potentially relace Brown next year. I think it’s WR, DT, or edge in the first two rounds with a DB being a possibility as well. JMO- 1

then Mr. Clapp might have a shot to be the starting Center and move McGovern back to LG and Edwards back to the 3TE/3OT role in heavy
I don’t see that happeneing. David Edwards is on a whole nother level than Clapp imo. Clapp is here to add depth and probably compete with Alex Anderson. At least that is my opinion.- 1

One more connection for Clapp is that McDermott’s boy Dave Aranda was at LSU with Clapp.

This to me is a slighty higher level Greg Mancz type signing. Clapp did play a lot last year when Corey Lindsey got hurt. -

I was wondering about the Brady aspect
Yes he played for Brady in New Orleans. Ronald Curry was also on staff at the time- 2

I will say this about him...... he isn't quite Jordan Poyer, but he doesn't exactly hurt the overall attractiveness of the safety room. 😍
Gunner did sherlockholmes take over your account?

Liepold and KU lost their OC to Penn State and he is a really good one. Really creative and an aggressive OC. The BIG 10 is in for a surprise next year.1 minute ago, Buffalo716 said:andy kotelnicki
Dude is definitely a great coach and I've spent time around him
But he's a protege of Lance... Lance 100% has a game plan I'm not worried
Andy is phenomenal and he's going to be amazing at Penn State
But Lance truly is a program builder... No doubt he will have jayhawk quarterbacks going to the NFL
I was at a coaches clinic/chalk talk over there last weekend and kotelnicki is impressive.- 1

IMO we have a starting 5 set.
Then you have Tackles Van Denmark, Tommy Doyle on the roster and Gouraige on a futures
deal. Doyle was working interior last pre season as well.
IOL it’s Alec Anderson as a rostered player, and Kevin Jarvis on a futures deal. Both guys are college right tackles playing inside. Both can play center and guard.
The Bills will have to add here. I assume the 5 starters plus Van Denmark and Anderson have a leg up to make the team. And if he is healthy, Doyle as well. That’s 7 guys and they usually keep 9-10 guys.
There are a ton of mid level guys in free agency and I assume they draft some people. I think we are in a good place.

Stay in KC. Just move to the NFC or the CFL.

He’s rocking #99 this year.
#95 is basically unofficially retired.
Bryce Paup baby!

I am guessing they offered him something like Edwards got. That was not going to get it done. I am very curious what he winds up with.

I like the way Brady started using him later in the year. Early in the year, those OTB check-downs, literally anyone can do that stuff. You play to Kincaid's strengths by using him down the seam and on the Y cross stuff, which is what Brady started doing. So I have super high hopes. Kincaid is a dude.

They are not drafting an IOL in the first round.
Mid-rounds for sure, but if the IOL class is deep why would they spend and early pick on one? That mindset makes no sense.
They are going to take big swings in the first and second rounds...WR then DL or vice/versa.
They will have to be wary of RT Spencer Brown's impending free agency. Hopefully, they bring him back, if not they will have to start looking for his replacement.

I think Edwards is a starter based on our current roster. But he is a low end starter. I am worried about the safety position.
Pretty much the same. This wasn’t my favorite choice and I think we should be concerned. The good thing is that it’s March and Beane is trying to plug holes. I am curious to see what the money is. -

I’m getting so old I don’t know 90% of these free agents. I think it’s because I stopped playing madden and fantasy football
The only reason I know who guys like Toohill are is just all the deep dive studying of the draft. Also getting old. -
college, but fun!

Somehow Tyreek Hill is still idolized. I guess if you are good at sports, it's fine.

Honestly I am not sure. I have only seen him play a few times. I guess I would say that I do not think they are done. I think they add a mid level free agent and draft some guys.
