I was there in ‘93, Chandler, for the first championship on home field (‘92 championship at Philly was unreal).  I wish I had been there last night, but watched it on ESPN+.

So happy for the team, the fans and the city.  I have a church commitment today, will someone please go to the celebration at the plaza today at noon and have a beer for me?

    Thank you.

Congrats on #6 in I believe 13 Finals, Banditland!

I was at the Aud for the 93' championship game as well. Still can't remember a more electric atmosphere, after Kilgore scored the goal to go up 1 with 30 secs left. Then Tavares wins the ball and rolls it down the floor to run out the clock. It was ***** meyham!

I went to a ton of Bandits games in those first two seasons. That was a hell of a team. This group of guys with Dane Smith seems incredible as well.

The cap is going up like crazy so contracts are going up. Cap is projected to jump again.

Elite QBs will get about 20% of the cap.

Wonder if he's take 20% of the Bills and pay for vwr minimum?

I don’t know why everyone assumes Johnson is a lock. I think he is going to be in a competion with frank gore jr for the last running back spot. He likely makes it as the 3rd rb but he has always been a journeyman RB and although I liked what he did at the end of last season people act like he accomplished way more than he actually did.

    his stats:

    132 rushing yards, 0 TDs, 1 fumble

    72 receiving yards 1 td

So 205 all purpose yards and 1 TD on 37 combined plays. That's 5.5 yards per touch.

Slightly better than Cook's 5.3 yards per play for the season. Also Cook averaged 1 TD per 49 plays.

So, there no drop off in production, but rather a slight improvement when Johnson got the ball vs Cook.

Those are huge discrepancies between years. Any explanation?  I presume caliber of competition is as good if not better in Big 10 as opposed to ACC. Offensive schemes run by Michigan State v. Florida State?  Something else?

I haven't been able to find an all targets video for 2022.

One thing that changed, in 2022 he lined up outside 95% of the time. In 2023 he lined up outside 69%...

In the few short 2022 videos I've seen, he looks like he's getting open a lot over the middle on crossers and in breaking routes...

Going to need a thorough breakdown of the routes he ran and the differences in scheme.

Yet he caught almost every single ball thrown to him with just TWO drops?!?! WTF there is a stat for everything I guess

He didn't catch almost every ball thrown to him. His catch percentage was only 57% last season.

When you watch all targets, you'll notice that he has a defender draped all over him on a ton of plays knocking the ball away.

Edit: his 2022 catch percentage was better - 66%. With fewer contested catches (18% vs 35%) and a higher contested catche rate (62% vs 33%)
